CHAPTER 42: OH, MY BABY!

A few minutes later, adorable photos of baby Jacob in different poses such as sleeping, laughing, smiling while lying on the bed and playing with his pacifier flooded the chat. There was also a photo of him taking a bath, enjoying the water.

Naomi: My baby, my son! Although he looks fine without me, my heart is still bleeding right now because I’m missing him so much. I want to hold him and kiss him. I miss my baby so much! I’m crying right now.

Alpha Maxwell: Sweetie, please stop crying, take it easy. We will get our son back soon!

Naomi: How? How can we get back our son?

Zero: You can get your son back by doing two things. One, by living on your own terms which means leaving your families behind and taking control of your own lives. You will live together as husband and wife under the same roof. Two, go back to the facility and continue your love story there. No one will hurt you in the facility. The couple were silent.

Zero: Unless you unite against your families, you can’t be together again, therefore you can’t have baby Jacob. He doesn’t deserve to grow up in a dysfunctional family where both parents are absent or have different partners. If you really love each other, you know what the right thing to do. Baby Jacob’s video was uploaded a few seconds later after Zero was gone. The adorable baby was sitting in his stroller, looking at the colorful flowers in front of him.

Naomi: My baby, my son! You are growing bigger and bigger without me by your side. I want to hold you in my arms and kiss your cheeks. I want to sing you a lullaby before you sleep. Unfortunately, I can’t hold you now because we are so far away from each other. When can I see you again? When can I hold you again?

Alpha Maxwell: Ah, my son, life is indeed cruel. We are separated from each other against our will. If you only see my heart, you will know I never wanted to abandon you. I want to see you soon and hold you in my arms. I missed putting you to sleep and changing your diapers.

Alpha Maxwell: Okay, I’ll find a way. Just give me a few days to sort things out. If there is a way to convince my family not to force me into marrying Deborah, I will explore that option. If nothing else works, we will elope together and leave our families behind.

Naomi: Is that a promise again?

The couple went silent for a few minutes and just focused on watching their son’s video. Afterward, they downloaded the video and photos to their mobile device so they can watch it anytime they want.

Naomi: Are you still there?

Alpha Maxwell: Yup, I’m still here watching our son’s adorable video.

Naomi: My parents are here. They want to talk to me about my boyfriend coming tomorrow to visit me. I think they will force me to lie. I will be offline for a while.
