Captive By Desire, A Love We Can't Deny
Chapter 91: I Can Feel It!
CHAPTER 91: I CAN FEEL IT!
While the vehicle was moving on the highway, Luna Adela placed a call on her phone to her son.
When her son finally answered, she said, "Son, we are going to the mall together with baby Zed, baby Jacob, Grandma and Deborah. If you are not busy, join us in the mall. It’s a family outing," she said.
"Mom, I’m busy right now. I’ll see what I can do. But I can’t promise you anything or you might get disappointed. I’ll message you if I still have time to drop by the mall. My team and I are currently out of the city. We are checking properties for sale at the moment," Alpha Maxwell explained.
"Ah okay, take your time. Bye son," Luna Adela said.
"Bye Mom, see you tonight," he replied.
Luna Adela finished talking to her son on the phone. She puts her phone in her shoulder bag. She looked at her daughter-in-law and said, "Dear, your husband is busy with work. He is currently out of the city checking out a property for sale. He might not be able to join us at the mall. Let’s just set up another family outing next week. How about we visit a nice beach resort so we can have fun swimming under the sun?" she suggested.
"Swimming at the beach sounds fun. Let’s do it next week during the weekend so everyone can come with us," Grandma replied with a grin.
Although Deborah was initially disappointed that her husband couldn’t join them in the mall, the thought of going to the beach and having relaxing time with her husband excited her. "I love going to the beach!" she responded enthusiastically.
"Awesome! Let’s get the whole family involved," Luna Adela said excitedly.
The women discussed the beach outing happening next week.
Fifteen minutes later, they finally arrived at the mall and began exploring the 5th story shopping center from top to bottom.
Meanwhile...
On the other side of the city, Alpha Maxwell can be seen entering the lobby of the Lemeeren Hotel wearing sunglasses, concealing his identity. He proceeded to the 5th floor and knocked on suite # 30. The door opened and he entered quickly, locking the door behind him.
Naomi leaps into his arms, smiling brightly. "I miss you so much! I thought you couldn’t come today to meet me," she said.
"I’m here now, sweetie. I’m sorry, I wasn’t able to bring our son here because there were changes at the last minute. My mother and Deborah suddenly wanted to go to the mall as well. Grams has no choice but to go along with them," Alpha Maxwell explained apologetically, kissing her lips.
"It’s okay, there will always be a next time. The important thing is that you are here to see me. I’m so happy right now," she beams happily, hugging him tightly.
Alpha Maxwell kissed her lips passionately and she responded with fervor.
The couple’s lips were locked in a lip duel that lasted for a few minutes.
After the heartwarming kiss, they looked at each other, love overflowing in their hearts.
"I miss you so much, sweetie," he whispered in her ears as he swept her off her feet and lowered her gently to the bed.
The couple cuddled on the bed, whispering sweet nothings into their ears.
He nuzzled her ears and stroked her thighs, going up into her underwear. "Let’s make love, sweetie pie. I miss you so much," he whispered huskily, kneading her breast.
Naomi sighed. "I’m sorry, we can’t do it today because I have my monthly period," she apologized gloomily.
"Ah, okay. No problem, sweetie. Let’s just cuddle here on the bed and talk about everything under the sun," he said, hugging her, kissing her cheeks lovingly.
He buried his head in her neck and inhaled her intoxicating scent. "I love you so much sweetie. I wish we could be together every day," he said in a tone filled with longing.
"I love you more," she responded, looking at him with adoration in her eyes.
She remembered something from their previous conversation. "Um, you mentioned before that Deborah was now a changed woman. Is it true?"
"Yeah. She no longer nags at me, and we haven’t had a serious fight in a long time. I could very well say that she has changed for the better," he answered casually.
"I see... good for her and good for you," she said gloomily. Her tone was laced with worry.
Alpha Maxwell felt her anxiety. "Sweetie, don’t worry. Even if Deborah has already changed for the better, I will still divorce her. I no longer love her. You are the only woman I’m willing to spend the rest of my life with. So please don’t worry about Deborah. OK?" he said, rubbing her back affectionately, nuzzling her cheeks, letting her know that she was the only woman who owned his heart.
She gazed at him adoringly, her eyes flashing with deep love and affection. "I can’t wait to divorce my husband. I already told him I would divorce him after six months."
Curious, he asked, "Really? And what was his reaction?"
She sighed. "He was angry but he would eventually give up on me because that’s what I wanted to happen. I already gave my father and Edison what they wanted by agreeing to the wedding willingly. Now they need to give me what I want and that is my total freedom."
He asked again, "And what will you do if they do not agree to the divorce?"
She shrugged off. "I will leave the house and disappear from their lives. I can go anywhere. I have complete hands and feet and I’m healthy. I can find work anywhere while waiting for you and Deborah to divorce," she said defiantly.
"That’s my girl!" He smiled and hugged her tightly. He was so proud of her.
She asked, "How about you? After one year what would you do if Deborah refused to divorce you?"
"If my wife refuses to give me a divorce and our families can’t accept our love affair, I will disappear with you to a far away place. We will bring baby Jacob with us," he said, agreeing with her plans.
Pleased with his answer, she smiled and kissed his lips, feeling happy and satisfied that they were always on the same page.
"We shall start scouting for a nice place to live far from the city. If we find one, then we will buy that property so we can leave everything behind and start a new life. I prefer to buy a property near the beach and not far from the city as well so we can enjoy both worlds," he suggested.
"Great! We shall start searching for that kind of property early on. I also love living near the beach. To be able to enjoy mother nature every day is a great blessing already. I’m looking forward to seeing our dream house in the future," she said excitedly. In her mind she was already imagining herself and him walking along the sandy shore, enjoying the morning breeze while holding baby Jacob in her arms.
"Sweetie, what are you thinking?" he asked, nuzzling her arms.
She looked at him. Happiness radiated on her face. "I can’t wait for the time when we can be together again. Just you and me and our son in our own little paradise," she said smiling brightly.
"It will happen soon, sweetie pie," he murmured and claimed her lips in a searing kiss that took their breath away.
Once again they were locked in a lip duel, carried away by their intense emotions.
Alpha Maxwell’s phone suddenly rang. A persistent call that refused to give up and needs to be answered immediately.
The couple’s lips parted and they both looked at the phone on the bed side table.
"Let’s just ignore it," Alpha Maxwell said.
"Answer it first, maybe it’s an emergency," Naomi urged him.
"OK." He picked up the phone and checked the caller. "It’s Deborah."
"Answer her call. It might be an emergency," she said.
"OK boss," he replied, smiling. He signaled to her to keep quiet.
"Copy." Naomi nodded her head.
Alpha Maxwell answered the call. "What is it?" he asked.
"Hubby, we’re already here in the mall. Please join us!" Deborah begged.
"I can’t join right now, maybe next time. I’m in the warehouse right now checking the area," he replied with a lie.
"Are you sure? Why did I feel like you were lying?" Deborah said accusingly.
Alpha Maxwell rolled his eyes. "I’m not lying."
"If you are not lying, show me the proof. Show me a live video of yourself inside the warehouse, show me that you are with your team," Deborah challenged him.
Alpha Maxwell groaned inwardly. He needed to come up with an alibi immediately. "Oh, something came up. I’ll call you back later," he said and ended the call, muting the phone. He knew very well that Deborah would attempt to call again because she was mad that he didn’t initiate the live video chat.
As expected, Deborah started calling again, but he ignored her calls.
"How is it?" Naomi asked.
"She asked for proof and wanted me to activate the live video chat so she could see with her own eyes if I am indeed inside the warehouse. If I do that she will discover that I’m with you... so to be safe, I turned off the volume of my phone and let her call nonstop until she gets tired and eventually gives up," he explained.
"Oh, she will surely nag you to death after you arrive home later," she told him.
He shrugged. "I know, it doesn’t matter. Nagging is the only thing she can do. She usually stops pestering me if I completely ignore her."
"Ah, OK." Naomi nodded her head.
The couple resumed their conversation, discussing their future together.
Meanwhile...
Back in the mall, Deborah was furious that her husband abruptly cut off their conversation.
She had a feeling he was hiding something from her. She could feel it.
She will find out soon!
