Carrying a Jurassic on me

Chapter 1868: Chapter 883: What Evidence
Amidst the roar, a plane soared into the blue skies.
On the plane, Xu Xiaoyan’s gaze was somewhat unfocused, her expression a bit dazed.
Ever since leaving the hotel, traveling all the way from the bustling Hollywood to the airport, looking at the bustling crowd around her and the smiling faces of Will and Xia Qingye, Xu Xiaoyan had been in this state.
Yan Fei was a bit worried, thinking about how to divert her attention, when he heard her softly ask: “Yan Xiaofei, these past few days, haven’t I been dreaming?”
These past few days indeed felt just like a dream to her.
The two of them barely left the hotel except for occasional meals. Most of their time was spent in the dinosaur world.
And in the dinosaur world, Yan Fei didn’t even have the time to show Xu Xiaoyan more dinosaurs. She always felt that coming here wasn’t easy, and that Yan Xiaofei should take more things home, should do more while being here—especially since there were issues at home, and they couldn’t go back right away. To prevent further troubles after returning, she was quite supportive of Yan Fei taking a bit more effort.
With Boss Yan working hard, no doubt, the unlucky ones had increased somewhat.
Conditions in Sancha River are too poor, everything is backward, everything is lacking.
Lao Tzu always said: “The way of heaven diminishes the surplus and supplements the deficiency!”
This girl didn’t even consider whether the things they brought back could be taken out, but she had made a list: the ranches now have several factories, beef jerky, leather, organic fertilizer… and soon hospitals are going to be established.
With so many factories and the future hospitals, they can’t remain stagnant, but must learn advanced experiences from advanced places—to this end, Yan Fei had to comply with the girl’s request and procure mountains of materials.
From enterprise management to equipment technology, and so on.
There’s quite a lot.
While equipment can’t be taken out all at once, techniques and experiences can be borrowed from—what left Yan Fei speechless was that in Xu Xiaoyan’s plan, these were things for the two of them to learn. Once learned, they would teach others at the ranch to implement or refer to.
To others, especially to some people at the hotel, these two young people came all the way from China across half of Earth to Hollywood, only to stay inside the hotel and not go out, it seemed a bit silly. And seeing their happy demeanor occasionally when going out for meals, it’s truly inexplicable.
As for what they were thinking, Yan Fei understood, actually he felt a bit regretful, if only he and his wife were doing what others might think they were doing in the room.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
And Xu Xiaoyan had no mind to pay attention to others, going out for meals was just to show face, eating done she’d drag Yan Fei back to the room, then continue planning what to move home.
In people’s usual impression, China is vast and populated yet somewhat backward; America, however, is top-notch in technology and world-leading, lacking nothing. Xu Xiaoyan felt the same, thus she didn’t find it wrong for Yan Fei to bring some things back: you guys have plenty here, don’t you? Our Yan Xiaofei is just one person, how much can he take, merely a drop in the ocean, what’s the harm?
It wasn’t until the two packed their luggage, left the hotel, and prepared to go home.
Xu Xiaoyan seemed to awaken from a dream, seeing Yan Fei silent, she couldn’t help but softly ask again: “Yan Xiaofei, I’m asking you something?”
Yan Fei thought a bit and signaled his wife for both to bend down, creating a small enclosed space, extending an empty hand.
The next second a ring emitting alluring light appeared on his hand: “Honey, marry me!”
Was this a proposal?
It seemed that this thing, it’s not really suitable for others to see, right?
The girl was first surprised, then she was scared, quickly using her hand to cover the jewelry: “Darn Yan Xiaofei, how could you be so bold, this thing can’t just be taken out!”
Yan Fei chuckled, the ring turned instantly into a piece of some unknown dragon’s jerky, and he stuffed it into his wife’s mouth: “Hehe, what’s there to fear, others wouldn’t know anyway.”
The girl chewed the jerky while glaring at him viciously, in a moment she snapped back to reality!
Not swallowing the jerky, she thought of a big issue: “Oh, the thing I said about selling pearls, I totally forgot to do that, what should I do?”
“No need to sell, after all, others wouldn’t know how much money we actually have.” Yan Fei smiled, holding her hand to stop her from letting go. “Back home, we can build whatever we want, even just with our own money, it’s enough to revamp Sancha River all over.”
“Hmm!” The girl, though still a bit unwilling, was already on the plane now, so unwillingness wouldn’t help. Actually, she wasn’t for money, but felt this way was really fun. And it was her own ‘creation’, not being able to implement it was slightly regrettable.
“Then what about the affairs at home?” she pondered and asked again.
“That’s alright, you can be my cover in the future. You handle the house, I sort out those restless troubles around.” Yan Fei grinned mischievously, his mind quickly turning to find a new topic to distract his wife. Now they weren’t home yet, so there was no way. “By the way—heard about it? Over in Japan, they’re hunting dolphins, catching whales, did you know?”
“I know! But I fell asleep before finishing watching, did you finish it?” The girl nodded. “The Japanese are thoroughly bad, they can do anything. Dolphins are such wonderful creatures; they slaughter them massively for their own benefits, and whales, haven’t they done anything to them…”
