Catgirls And Dungeons (Yuri)
Chapter 249: Egg!
"Felicia, I think I've figured out the reason why," Eris says, her eyes gleaming.
"Wait! You did?!" I gasp, jolting forward with excitement.
My heart skips a beat. If I can finally understand what's going on with my body… maybe I can actually start getting stronger! No more being thin and weak! No more wheezing after just a bit of light walking! For original chapters go to novel(ꜰ)ire.net
"Yeah!" Eris nods. "It's actually thanks to that question you asked yesterday. That's what helped me put all the pieces together."
"Ooooh!!" I squeal, practically bouncing in my seat. "Then what is it?! Tell me, please! Please please please!"
"I will," Eris says sweetly. "But first, you have to eat the entire wyvern egg!"
"Eeeeehh?! Why are you blackmailing me now?" I cry, puffing my cheeks out like a sulky balloon. "Alright, fine! But if I finish it, you have to tell me right away! No more stalling!"
Eris chuckles. "Yup. I promise."
I narrow my eyes at her, squinting hard. "Really promise?"
"Haha, really really," she laughs. "Now come on. Aren't you hungry?"
She calmly spears a piece of crispy bacon with her fork and pops it into her mouth like it's just any other morning.
Meanwhile, I glance down at the plate in front of me.
The fried egg is enormous! It's bigger than an entire dinner platter. Its golden yolk glistens like honey, nestled in a sea of cloud-white egg whites.
And okay, it's huge. But if we're being honest, I've devoured more than this on a regular day.
Thus, Knife and fork in hand, I sit up straight, channeling my inner mukbang catgirl spirit.
"Alright then! Thanks for the meal!" I declare with a grin, and I start slicing into the egg.
As my knife sinks in, my stomach growls in anticipation.
Time to eat!

Moments later…
"Woaahh! This egg is amazing!"
Nom nom nom.
I've only gotten through the egg white so far, but even that alone tastes incredible. The edges are perfectly crisp, golden-brown with just the right amount of crunch, and the inside? Soft, pillowy, almost airy, like biting into a savory cloud. Not too oily either. Just the perfect texture, perfectly seasoned. I don't even know how the catgirls managed to cook this. Do we even have a pan big enough for something like this?
Then… I glance at the yolk.
And damn.
It's enormous. Round, golden, and practically glowing, it looks like someone plucked a tiny sun right out of the sky and gently nestled it into the center of the egg. The surface gleams, soft and jiggly, like a golden jelly. Just looking at it makes my mouth water.
I poke it gently with my fork.
Pop.
The delicate membrane bursts, and rich, golden yolk begins to ooze out in thick, velvety streams. It spills across the plate like molten sunlight, coating the egg white beneath it in buttery, golden bliss.
A deep, eggy aroma fills the air, rich and warm, buttery with a subtle sweetness.
"Mmmhm," Eris hums, sniffing the air. "That smells dangerously good! "
"You sure you don't want some?" I ask, raising an eyebrow as I glance at her.
"Well…" She pauses, clearly tempted, her eyes flicking toward the yolk river flowing across my plate. "…maybe just a little," she grins sheepishly.
She reaches over, picks up a piece of her sausage, and dips it into the yolk. The thick liquid clings to it like golden glaze, glossy and decadent.
Then she takes a bite.
"Mmmmmm!" Her eyes flutter shut, and her cheeks puff out as she chews, completely lost in bliss. "Oh gods… that's ridiculous."
"Hehe, have more if you want!" I say happily.
After all, she's the one who bought this egg. If she wanted the whole thing, I'd hand it over in a heartbeat.
But…
"Nope! That's enough," Eris says, shaking her head with a playful grin. "It's all yours. Come on, eat up! You've got a whole yolk ocean waiting for you."
"Alright!" I chirp.
Since this egg is way too massive for just a fork, I set it down and pick up a more fitting weapon—
My big spoon!
The legendary one, bigger than my hand. I don't even know why I have this though, but it's perfect for moments like this!
So, spoon in hand, I scoop up a thick, golden gloop of yolk, warm and shiny like the sun itself. The spoon practically sags under the weight of it.
As I bring it close, the scent becomes even more amazing.
Rich. Buttery. Slightly sweet. There's something almost… mythical about it. Like it was cooked in a sacred skillet blessed by the food gods themselves.
I lean in—
"Slurp!"
The yolk slides into my mouth like liquid velvet.
"MHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHMMMM!!!"
Oh my gods. I nearly melt into the chair.
It's creamy and super silky, a flawless blend of savory and sweet. The flavor rolls over my tongue in waves, salty like browned butter, sweet like roasted nuts, with this almost custardy richness that coats every corner of my mouth.
My body instantly reacts. My ears perk up with a boing. My tail poofs and twitches like it's trying to dance!
I can feel the warmth glide down my throat and settle deep in my belly, blooming outward like a gentle, loving hug from the inside.
I'm glowing.
I'm transcending…
This isn't food anymore. This is magic.
No, this is divine revelation in egg form!
Without missing a beat, I scoop another spoonful.
Then another.
And another!
Somehow, each bite tastes even better than the last.
Then I cut a piece of the fluffy egg whit and dip it into the golden lake. I swirl it a little, letting it soak.
Then Nom!
Oh gods! Amazing!
The soft, airy white perfectly contrasts with the rich yolk, and the crispy, golden-brown edge adds just the right crunch. The textures bounce off each other like a gourmet symphony!
I then grab a slice of sausage and dip that in next, just like how Eris did it.
Crunch!
The smoky, meaty sausage mixed with the rich yolk?
Heaven. Absolute heaven!
I hum and wiggle in my seat, cheeks puffed out, tail swaying like I'm in some kind of egg-induced trance.
Across the table, Eris is just watching me with a soft, amused smile, continue devouring her regular meal.
"Hehe, you like it?" she asks between bites.
"Nn! I wuv it!"
I nod, my mouth too full to answer properly.
______________
Moments later…
"Wuaaaah! I'm stuffed!" I sigh, leaning back in my chair as I gently rub my belly.
The egg is gone. Every last bite, completely devoured. And now it's all sitting inside me, warm, heavy, and somehow… comforting. My stomach feels noticeably warmer than the rest of me, like there's a tiny sun glowing in there, pulsing with heat and happiness.
And then it hits...
The food coma.
My limbs go floppy. My arms slump against the chair. My tail curls loosely around one leg, too lazy to flick. Even my ears are drooping slightly from pure, unfiltered food bliss.
My entire body feels like it's sinking into a soft cloud.
I'm glowing.
Not just from satisfaction, but from something deeper—like whatever nutrients were in that egg have ignited something inside me. A golden warmth hums through my chest, down my arms, all the way to my toes.
I feel… amazing.
So full, in fact, that I don't even want to eat anything else.
…Well.
Maybe just one sanguinebloom brownie.
And… a milkshake. Because why not?
After all, there's always room for dessert!
Slurp…
I take a long sip. The milkshake is cool and creamy, flavored with fresh sanguinebloom petals. It's light, sweet, with a soft floral tickle on my tongue. It contrasts perfectly with the warm fullness in my belly, like a gentle breeze brushing against sun-drenched skin.
I sigh again, content.
But then…
Wait a minute.
But now that I think about it… how strange!
Even though the wyvern egg was big, bit normally, I'd have enough appetite to devour three of those giant eggs without blinking!
So why am I already full after just one?
Was it just that filling?
Or… is it because wyvern eggs are insanely nutrient-dense? Like, hundreds of times more potent than a normal Filoan egg?
But… protein is just protein, right?
Calories in, calories out!
So how the heck does this even work!?
I sit up straighter, turning toward Eris.
"Eris! I finished the egg! Now tell me please, what is it that you discovered?" I call out eagerly.
"Alright, hehe," Eris says, a small grin tugging at the corner of her lips as she dabs her mouth with a napkin, all graceful and casual like nothing big's about to happen.
But then… she leans forward across the table, resting her elbows on the polished wood, and her eyes narrow.
Gulp.
Why… why do I suddenly feel a chill crawl down my spine?
Why do I feel like something's crazy coming?
My tail stiffens without warning.
Why am I nervous?! This is Eris! What could she possibly say that—
"Felicia, I think you are pregnant."
Eris says it calmly, gently. Her smile is warm, and her cheeks are lightly flushed.
Eh?
…
…
EHHHH?!
P-p-p-pregnant?!
WHAAATTTTT?!
