Chapter 841 Back home IV
841 Back home IV
Two months later, on the blue planet, Kyle was seated leisurely in his home, watching Yue as she walked around the living room, teaching Bia and Nox how to harness their mental strength to defeat their enemies. It was a peaceful day, a beautiful moment.
He closed his eyes and heard his father talking with Eon in another room about an activity they were planning for the students at the academy they were running.
Outside in the garden, Iva was cheering for both Neon and Ray, who had been training with swords for hours after Kyle had taught them a series of moves to practice.
Suddenly, Yue''s communication crystal buzzed, and she took it out from her mind space. Kyle muttered softly.
"It''s time."
He stood up and watched as she spoke with someone, her expression turning grim the more she talked. Then he walked away toward his father''s location.
Standing outside the study room, he knocked on the open door with a smile.
Ohan turned to him and invited him in with a frustrated expression, as he and Eon had been unable to reach a decision about the activity they were planning. They were torn between having the students battle each other or having them fight monsters.
Kyle stepped into the room filled with bookshelves with a thoughtful expression.
"It''s better to let them fight each other to gain real battle experience. Weak monsters are mindless, so it wouldn''t be beneficial."
Ohan and Eon agreed with him. But they both turned to Kyle because, even though he had stepped into the room, he remained standing after the first step.
Ohan stepped toward him.
"I can''t see the future, especially not my own, but I managed to calculate the fates of a few others. I''m not sure if it''s truly what will happen soon, but there''s no harm in trying. Now, tell me what you found out."
Yue nodded, and they left the planet together. Bia settled down on Kyle''s right shoulder and Nox on his left.
The couple didn''t use teleportation or portals but floated side by side so that on the way, Yue could fill him in on everything.
She had received a message from Alec, who requested that she reach the Sacred Divine Land with Kyle as soon as possible.
The shadow generals had been quiet and missing in action, so no one had reached out to Kyle or her in the past two months, as the duo''s presence wasn''t necessary.
During that time, James and the seven supreme rank elders had been working to eradicate the planets of the dark side with many supreme ranks and their armies.
However, just recently, Ceano emerged suddenly, wreaking havoc and claiming the lives of many innocents. He only ceased his destruction when James arrived and bluntly declared another war, challenging all those who wished to kill him to join the fight.
The battleground has been designated as the Sacred Divine Land, the only area that remains free after Kyle defeated the forces of the dark side that had conquered part of it. Although a portion of it was destroyed, it is still the best location for another big war, after the ruined Forsaken Land, because even though the air lacks mana, it is filled with divine and spiritual energy.
Alec and the others have already assembled there after James contacted them, along with the three elderly men who emerged from the Second Realm, waiting for Kyle and Yue to join them.
Kyle had a contemplative expression on his face as he reflected on everything.
"Has the war started?"
Yue shook her head.
"No, both sides are gathering their armies and setting up camps. So, it hasn''t started yet. But Alec told me that Ceano is killing supreme ranks even without the war, using a powerful skill that absorbs all the power of his targets. It''s making him stronger and also helping him create more fake bodies. If Ceano keeps this up, we might lose the war even before it starts."
