Checking in for 100,000 Years
Chapter 141: Eighteen Layers of Hell
CHAPTER 141: CHAPTER 141: EIGHTEEN LAYERS OF HELL
"Where are we now?"
A white-haired elder looked around, his face a mask of confusion. He had been in secluded Cultivation within his Sect when, in the blink of an eye, he found himself in this unfamiliar place. The transition had been so swift, occurring in the span of a single breath, that he had no time to react.
"Why... are all of you here?" The elder stared at the five fellow Sect members beside him, his expression one of utter shock. The six of them, all Eternal Realm magnates and the pillars of their Sky-Level Sect, had converged in this strange location. Who could be so terrifying as to manipulate Eternal Realm Cultivators like puppets?
The elder quickly scanned his surroundings, his gaze falling upon a Big Black Horse that possessed an Eternal Realm cultivation base. But a mere Eternal Realm demonic beast isn’t much of a threat to me, he thought.
However, his eyes then shifted to the carriage, where a young man in white stood with his hands clasped behind his back. The youth exuded an extraordinary, almost transcendent aura. I can’t sense any cultivation base from him at all. Yet, for some reason, he feels like a God radiating boundless divine light, compelling me to worship him.
Seeing the Sect Master and several Supreme Elders looking bewildered, the Half-Step Eternity Realm powerhouse who had been brought along hurriedly said, "Sect Master, this is the Shenfeng Dynasty! The Red Dust Fairyland is right nearby!"
"What? This is the Red Dust Fairyland?" the elder exclaimed, his face paling. "Does that mean we traversed nearly ten million miles in an instant?" His heart pounded, and his eyes nearly bulged from their sockets.
The other Eternal Realm powerhouses were equally dumbfounded, the shock they felt beyond words. To cross ten million miles in a single moment... is that comparable to Void Transmission? But we are six Eternal Realm magnates! Who could have possibly transported us here so stealthily, without any of us noticing?
Their gazes, too, fell upon the young man in white on the carriage, and their eyes filled with unconcealed astonishment. This youth emitted no discernible aura of cultivation, yet in their perception, he shone with a dazzling light, like a God. The six Eternal Realm Cultivators were rendered speechless. As the saying goes, an expert’s skill is evident from a single gesture. Just how terrifying must this god-like young man in white be, to have captured six Eternal Realm Cultivators without their knowledge? It’s simply unimaginable! Could he be a Demi-god Level Powerhouse, approaching the True God Realm?
While these six Eternal Realm powerhouses were reeling from the colossal shock, the numerous Sect Masters in the surrounding mountain ranges were in an uproar.
"My heavens! Six Eternal Realm Cultivators appearing all at once! This is terrifying!"
"How did they get here? Did they also use some method similar to Void Transmission, projecting themselves from millions of miles away?"
"Absolutely not! Didn’t you see how bewildered they all look? It seems they were forcibly brought here, space torn asunder by some miraculous power!"
"Could it be that young man in white?"
Whispers and discussions erupted all around, faces etched with shock. The mystery and terrifying nature of the black carriage were becoming increasingly apparent to everyone.
SLAP! SLAP! SLAP!
Ye Yun, from his position on the carriage, raised his hand and delivered several resounding slaps across space. Each of the six Eternal Realm Cultivators received two slaps, their faces immediately swelling and turning red. Yet, in that moment, these six formidable cultivators stood frozen, not even attempting to dodge. It was as if they had resigned themselves to the fact that evasion was impossible and could only accept the punishment.
"Your esteemed Sky-Level Sect has disciples who are ill-disciplined and intolerably arrogant. What do you propose should be done?" Ye Yun asked, his hands behind his back, his gaze calm as he stared at the men before him.
"Senior," the white-haired elder said, clasping his fists and bowing, his eyes betraying a hint of fear as he looked at Ye Yun. He had never imagined that the arrogance of his Deputy Sect Master would lead to offending such an unfathomable expert.
The Half-Step Eternity Realm powerhouse, the Deputy Sect Master in question, finally grasped the direness of his situation. The young man in white before him was a Demigod, infinitely close to the True God Realm! His power was heaven-defying, unstoppable, far beyond what the six Eternal Realm magnates of his Sect could ever hope to contend with. Cold sweat drenched him as immense terror gripped his heart. I offended a Demigod! A mere Half-Step Eternity Realm Cultivator like me offended a Demigod! The Sect will surely not let me off easily!
The Eternal Realm elder, after a moment of thought, decided he had to make a painful choice to ensure his own survival. "Senior," he began, clasping his fists and bowing deeply, "since he has offended you, we will confine him to our Sect’s prison for life!"
"Is that so? There’s no need for your prison. I’ll send him to Hell right now!" Ye Tian said with an indifferent smile.
He pointed a finger at the ground beside them. RUMBLE! A massive fissure tore open the earth. From its depths, ghostly wails and wolfish howls echoed, accompanied by all sorts of terrifying sounds.
The six Eternal Realm Cultivators peered into the chasm and were instantly confronted by the horrifying vistas of the Eighteen Layers of Hell. Their faces turned ashen, and they were too petrified to speak. What kind of Divine Skill is this? This Demigod Senior is far too terrifying!
Ye Yun glanced in a certain direction and said nonchalantly, "Go on in."
"Senior, please spare me...!" The Half-Step Eternity Realm powerhouse dropped to his knees, tears streaming down his face as he kowtowed. He was truly terrified now. The scenes within those Eighteen Layers of Hell are too horrific to behold. A single glance made me feel like I was about to die!
You, a puny insect, relying on your Sky-Level Sect, dared to disrespect even Eternal Realm powerhouses. If someone like you doesn’t descend into Hell, who does? Ye Yun thought, then waved his hand with a faint smile.
The Half-Step Eternity Realm powerhouse’s body immediately flew upwards, then arced through the air before plummeting into the Eighteen Layers of Hell. A final, bloodcurdling scream tore from his lips as he traced a parabola and vanished completely.
RUMBLE!
The unfathomable chasm sealed itself shut, the ground becoming smooth and unbroken as if nothing had ever happened.
A dead silence fell upon all the mountain peaks. Everyone stared, eyes wide, not daring to make the slightest sound. They, too, had been thoroughly petrified by the vision of the Eighteen Layers of Hell. It was simply too horrifying.
The six Eternal Realm Cultivators exchanged glances, each swallowing hard. Such an inconceivable, heaven-defying method was utterly astounding. They had never witnessed anything like it.
Nearby, the Big Black Cat had squeezed its eyes shut in terror. The Eighteen Layers of Hell had dealt a significant shock to its psyche; this was its first time witnessing such a thing. The Big Black Cat hadn’t yet joined their group during the events at the Sword King Palace in the Ancient Moon Dynasty.
The Big Black Horse twitched its lips but remained silent. I didn’t expect Master to actually suppress this Half-Step Eternity Realm Cultivator. It seems that fellow’s arrogance truly infuriated Master. To conjure such a terrifying Eighteen Layers of Hell and condemn him to eternal suppression, never to be reincarnated...
Ye Yun’s expression was tranquil as he surveyed the surrounding Cultivators. Within his mesmerizing eyes, countless tiny, star-like runes flickered into existence, as if the birth, demise, and transformation of three thousand worlds were playing out within his gaze.
Then, the Big Black Horse was surprised to observe that all the onlookers who had witnessed the scene suddenly wore dazed expressions, as if they had collectively fallen into a dream.
