Chapter 48 Uncle Ma, I Finally Met You
CHAPTER 48: CHAPTER 48 UNCLE MA, I FINALLY MET YOU
"Damn it, Little Black Cat actually left a puddle of stinky cat pee here. When it comes back, I’ll make it lick it clean."
Looking at the stain on the ground, the Big Black Horse disgustedly shuffled a couple of steps to the side, distancing itself from the cat pee.
However. Cat pee was cat pee, and it had a strong, foul odor.
The Big Black Horse couldn’t tolerate it and had to cast a spell, encapsulating the cat pee under a light shield.
"Little Horse, how’s the outside world? Did you happen to meet a compatible mare to be your wife?"
Suddenly, a terrifying figure appeared in front of the Big Black Horse, landing upon it.
The Big Black Horse’s body sagged abruptly, and it nearly collapsed to the ground.
"Sister Feng, please be gentle. My scrawny little frame can’t withstand your mighty pressure..." the Big Black Horse complained with a mournful expression.
"Oh, my apologies, I forgot. I thought you, Little Horse, had been eating and drinking well with the Master out there, and had grown much stronger!"
The intimidating figure uttered this in a coquettish female voice.
Utilizing her Divine Skills, she lightened her force.
The Big Black Horse finally felt a bit better.
It shook its head, chuckled bitterly, and said, "Sister Feng, there are no suitable mares out there for me. I’m prepared to remain a bachelor for life!"
The intimidating figure chuckled gleefully.
"Is it fun outside?" she asked again.
The Big Black Horse shook its head, then quickly nodded.
"What’s that supposed to mean? Shaking your head and then nodding. Is it fun, or not?" The intimidating figure became displeased.
"Sister Feng, the people outside are too weak. There’s no way to have fun with them... What I meant by ’interesting’ is that there are three disciples in the Master’s Sect, and those three little ones are quite amusing..."
"Oh, I see!" The intimidating figure thought for a moment, then suggested coaxingly to the Big Black Horse, "Why don’t you go back and ask the Master if his three juniors need a Divine Pet? If they do, we’re willing to go out and be their Divine Pets."
"Alright, Sister Feng," the Big Black Horse reluctantly replied, lowering its head.
If all these terrifying beings were to venture out, wouldn’t the world be thrown into chaos? The Master’s original intention was to temper and train the disciples of his Divine Dragon Sect. If they started keeping pets, how could they ever be properly trained? But the Big Black Horse dared not voice this concern, fearing that if Sister Feng became displeased, she might poke a few bloody holes in it.
Suddenly, a golden light descended.
THUD!
The golden, terrifying figure tossed the Big Black Cat onto the ground.
It grumbled, "This little fellow is such a disappointment. As soon as it got there, it fainted out of fear."
"Big Gold, you surely had malicious intentions, taking it to the most terrifying place, didn’t you?" Sister Feng chuckled.
"Hahaha... I wanted to let it see the world. Who knew it would faint from fright as soon as it got close? I was afraid it would actually be scared to death, so I quickly brought it back to avoid being punished by the Master."
After saying that, this golden horror flickered and disappeared.
"Little Horse, this kitten is too timid. Wake it up later and comfort it." Sensing that things weren’t right, Sister Feng hastily made her escape.
In the darkness, the terrifying figures closed their eyes one after another, succumbing to deep slumber once more.
The entire warehouse was again shrouded in darkness and silence.
The Big Black Horse shook its head, seemingly unaccustomed to this silence. It recalled how they used to fight all the time! Why have they all become so fond of sleeping lately? Could it be that they’re worn out from all these years of fighting?
After a moment of thought, the Big Black Horse approached the Big Black Cat.
It stomped its hoof on the Big Black Cat’s head, infusing it with a stream of Mana.
Only then did the Big Black Cat slowly awaken.
"WAAH! Uncle Ma, I finally get to see you again! I thought I’d never see you again in this lifetime!"
Seeing the handsome horse face in the dark, the Big Black Cat felt an overwhelming sense of comfort. It sprang up, latched onto the Big Black Horse’s sturdy legs, and burst into tears.
It had just seen the most terrifying demon beast of its entire life. So terrified that it fainted on the spot. The demon beast had merely half-opened an eye and glanced at it. The Big Black Cat felt like it had already died eight hundred times in Hell. It was truly horrifying!
"Stop crying, kitty. You understand how terrifying the Master’s place is now, don’t you?" the Big Black Horse said irritably.
"I do, Uncle Ma," the Big Black Cat said mournfully.
"So, from now on, be a low-profile cat. Don’t think you’re so great just because you’re a Nine-tailed Spirit Cat. In Uncle Ma’s eyes, you’re nothing," the Big Black Horse lectured earnestly, every inch an elder.
The Big Black Cat wiped away its tears and nodded vigorously.
"I won’t dare to be arrogant again. From now on, I’ll definitely be a low-profile cat."
"That’s more like it." The Big Black Horse pointed a hoof in a direction and said grumpily, "Look at your pathetic state, you even peed in the Master’s warehouse. Lick it clean right now, or else Uncle Ma will throw you in there and let them eat you."
Hearing the Big Black Horse’s threat, the Big Black Cat’s fur stood on end.
It dashed towards the puddle of cat urine like a flash, opened its mouth wide, and sucked all of it into its stomach.
The Big Black Horse saw the Big Black Cat swallow the urine, lifted its head, and exclaimed with disgust, "Ugh! Stay away from me; you’re absolutely filthy!"
He was, after all... a Big Black Horse who loved cleanliness.
"Master Horse, please rest assured. I used my Mana to break it down; there’s no odor," the Big Black Cat said, raising a paw and chuckling.
"Clever of you," the Big Black Horse said sullenly, then turned and walked out.
Having witnessed the entire process, Ye Yun couldn’t help but laugh to himself.
This time, the Big Black Cat was scared witless. Presumably, this fellow wouldn’t dare to be so arrogant ever again.
With a slight flick of his wrist, Ye Yun plucked the Big Black Horse and the Big Black Cat out of the warehouse.
Seeing the light of day once again, the Big Black Cat greedily gulped a few mouthfuls of fresh air, its face showing the relief of having survived a disaster.
BANG!
The Big Black Horse instantly brought a hoof down on its head.
The Big Black Cat quickly understood that now was not the time to revel. It hurriedly trotted over to Ye Yun’s feet and kowtowed repeatedly, saying, "Master, Little Cat knows its mistake. Please, give me another chance."
A faint smile touched Ye Yun’s lips. He stood with his hands behind his back and said softly, "If you wish to follow us, it’s not entirely out of the question. However, the current Sect Master of the Divine Dragon Sect is Luo Li. You should ask for her opinion."
Seeing that the Master didn’t object, the Big Black Cat’s heart leaped with joy, feeling that there was hope for this matter.
It swiftly rushed to Luo Li’s feet, knelt on the ground, and kowtowed. "Master Luo, I beg you, please take me in! The Sect will surely need a Divine Beast to guard it in the future, and I am definitely up to the task!"
Seeing this Big Black Cat suddenly kowtowing to her, Luo Li was quite startled. However, the sight of a cat kowtowing also struck her as rather amusing. She didn’t particularly dislike this Big Black Cat. But, the idea of accepting it seemed a bit too hasty.
Su Wanyi looked at the Big Black Cat, a hint of gratitude in her eyes.
"Junior Sister, this Senior Cat saved me once; I owe it a debt of gratitude. Why don’t you take it in?" Su Wanyi suggested softly.
