Chubby Mommy: Scheming Daddy, Surrender Now!
Chapter 101: Making a Friend
CHAPTER 101: CHAPTER 101: MAKING A FRIEND
Half an hour later, Leon Sterling was dragged into a small park by Sasha Shaw.
"You stay here and keep watch, I’ll go find a spot." Sasha said, patting his hand in a tone full of responsibility, "You absolutely cannot leave, do you understand?"
Leon Sterling looked into the darkness behind her, a bit worried, "Are you sure there’s no problem?"
"As long as you’re here watching, it’ll be fine." She squeezed her thighs together anxiously, shifting her feet impatiently, "I’m going, you mustn’t leave." With that, she quickly darted into the small forest behind.
Originally, Sasha planned to go home directly when she felt the urge to pee, but she found herself having endless conversations with this newfound friend. Even though it was already very late, she was reluctant to leave, so she had no choice but to head into the little forest.
Leon Sterling obediently waited for her on the cobblestone path. After a short while, he suddenly heard her shouting. In one quick stride, he rushed forward, "What’s wrong?"
Soon, Leon Sterling heard the sounds of an argument and saw a few figures not far away.
Fearing she might be bullied, he ran over in big strides and pulled her behind him, "What’s going on?"
"What’s going on? Does anyone here have any damn manners?" A rough voice belonging to a man with a buzz cut, judging by the shadow, grumbled indignantly.
Sasha, initially a bit intimidated, now hid behind Leon Sterling, feeling bold with confidence, retorted on her tiptoes, "You’ve got some nerve to talk! Out here in a public place in the middle of the night, it’s indecent, okay?"
The man, already agitated by Sasha, was fed up and didn’t want to waste more words, thinking, in this pitch-black place without even a single camera, he’d push Leon Sterling aside and start a fight.
"Damn!" Sasha, now completely shaken out of her need to pee, saw Leon Sterling being pushed and nearly tumbling, and her adrenaline rushed, "What a shameless brute." She took on a fighting stance and raised her fist, ready to throw a punch.
But before she could act, the burly man was already thrown aside like a sack of rotten potatoes by Leon Sterling with a shoulder throw.
The woman who had been cheering him on let out a scream, alternating between checking on the man’s condition and worrying about calling the police.
Leon Sterling took Sasha and ran until both were out of breath before they burst into laughter, looking at each other.
"Hello, my name is Leon Sterling." He bent over, one hand on his leg, extending his other hand to Sasha.
Sasha slumped onto the square’s ground and shook his hand, "Sasha."
After this turmoil, she finally caught her breath and felt sleepy, "I’m going home, what about you?"
Leon Sterling pursed his lips, "I’m not sure yet, maybe... I’ll find a hotel to stay the night."
Sasha yawned, feeling like she saw through everything, pointed at him, and said, "Don’t think that just by saying that, I’ll invite you to my house."
Leon Sterling laughed, "Rest assured, I have someone I like..." He hadn’t finished speaking when his phone suddenly rang; it was an unfamiliar number.
"Hello, is this Mr. Leon Sterling? I’m Howard, Mr. Sterling’s assistant." Standing on the bar street, Howard felt a bit troubled. Even though he had found the car, he couldn’t find the person anywhere, and after waiting by the car for half an hour, he could only give him a call.
Leon Sterling immediately knew it was someone sent by his big brother looking for him and felt a bit happy, "I’ll send you my location, come pick me up."
"Alright." Howard hung up the call with a good attitude, though internally feeling like flipping a table.
Leon Sterling put away his phone with a smile, "Alright, someone’s got me taken care of. Well... goodbye."
Sasha nodded and suddenly found him quite good-looking, wanting to get his WeChat, but ultimately refrained.
Random encounters like these, she didn’t want to develop into a one-night stand.
She watched him walk away, then went to a convenience store to buy an ice cream cone before returning home.
This night was indeed interesting.
Leon Sterling didn’t have to wait long on the roadside before Howard arrived, "Take me to a hotel, I don’t want to go home."
Howard’s instruction was to ensure this second young master’s safety, thinking taking him to a hotel would suffice, he didn’t ask more, and sent him to the nearby Equinox Hotel. When he was about to leave, Leon Sterling suddenly stopped him, "Can you help me find someone’s contact information?"
Then, after listening to various descriptions from Leon Sterling, although Howard felt slightly dizzy, he agreed to try.
Thinking to himself, the difficulty of tasks assigned from this pair of brothers is truly inhuman.
Meanwhile, back at home, Sasha looked at her panda-like face in the mirror and felt like dying. She didn’t know when her makeup had turned into such a mess, suddenly understanding why the handsome guy hadn’t asked for her contact.
She sighed, carefully tidied up her small face, quickly took a shower, and collapsed into bed to sleep.
The next day, Ethan Sterling appeared at the hospital with a black eye, leaving Ruby Sullivan stunned. It took a moment before she stifled her laughter and asked, "Did you... self-harm?"
How could Ethan Sterling end up looking like this? Let alone his skills, just the bodyguards around him wouldn’t let anyone get close enough to harm him, right? Moreover, he left the hospital pretty late yesterday...
Ethan Sterling glanced at her, still maintaining a look of supreme authority, "Still looking?"
Ruby Sullivan finally couldn’t hold back her laughter, "Compared to a panda, you’re close, just not quite symmetrical."
Sweetheart kindly ran over to hug his leg, looking up with concern, "Daddy, does it hurt?"
Ethan Sterling shot a glare at Ruby Sullivan, handed her the breakfast he was carrying, and bent down to pick up Sweetheart, "Still, my little cotton-padded jacket knows how to be considerate, unlike someone who doesn’t at all act like a wife." Although he spoke the latter half of the sentence with a bit of venom, his eyes conveyed warmth, clearly not genuinely angry.
On the contrary, seeing Ruby Sullivan laughing her head off, his inner frustration seemed to dissolve.
Ruby Sullivan raised her eyebrows, indifferent, "Wow, this porridge smells so good, Mama Bennett, come join us."
Mama Bennett also looked at Ethan Sterling with concern, "Sir, are you alright?"
Ethan Sterling shook his head, "I’m fine." He said, then proceeded to have breakfast with Sweetheart.
He had left early to avoid them going hungry at the hospital.
"Daddy, is Seth coming today?" Sweetheart, not having seen Seth, couldn’t help but ask.
"Seth and Vivian will come to keep you company later." He said, then looked at Ruby Sullivan, "You stay with Sweetheart today."
"Okay." Ruby Sullivan agreed, having not planned to go back to the company, "I’ve arranged everything for work, don’t worry, it won’t delay any progress." She noticed something peculiar in Ethan Sterling’s eyes, assuming the big boss was worried about work, she added.
Ethan Sterling nodded, not responding.
Last night’s happenings, he didn’t want her to know, yet couldn’t explain why he wanted to keep it secret.
Could it be fear?
