CHAPTER 530: CHAPTER 530: COURTING DEATH

Gavin Garrison cheerfully followed behind Aidan Sinclair, already having made up his mind. Upon entering, he grinned and said, "Wilder, I really didn’t expect this kind of relationship between you and Stella Jennings; Crystal Pierce has always... Forget it, let’s not talk about her. After you reinstated me, I immediately arranged to freeze her out of everything. Anyway, her contract is about to expire soon, and Stella Jennings could absolutely be the next big star at Morningstar."

Aidan Sinclair kept a stern face, as if he hadn’t heard him, and went straight upstairs. Gavin Garrison dared not slack, following with a smile, figuring that staying quiet was better than blocking his path.

Aidan Sinclair spoke the first words after entering the study, "Close the door."

"Alright." Gavin Garrison grinned obsequiously.

Aidan Sinclair opened the computer on the desk, retrieved some documents, "Explain this. What’s going on here?"

Gavin Garrison leaned over to take a look and said nonchalantly, "Wilder, over the years I’ve encountered too many newcomers trying to scheme against me. I really don’t remember. Even if it was true, I’m sure I’ve already dealt with it using money."

Aidan Sinclair frowned, his hair styled like a messy nest, but it didn’t affect the sharpness of his gaze one bit. "Have you ever counted how many girls you’ve exploited in your position at Morningstar over the years? The girl on this document is named Winter Rhodes. A month ago, she attempted to escape a marriage due to depression and committed suicide. She’s still undergoing recovery treatment now, and you say she was scheming?"

Seeing that he was truly angry, Gavin Garrison finally shelved his smile. "Wilder, you know how capable these women can be at seducing people... I... I was careless."

Aidan Sinclair shook his head, "Leave. If I find out you’re harassing Stella Jennings again, don’t blame me for being harsh."

He didn’t want to waste any more words with him.

He had warned him more than once before, but Gavin Garrison treated it like wind passing his ears. Aidan Sinclair now regretted not having dealt with this person earlier when he looked at Stella Jennings.

"Wilder, ten years. Can’t our ten years of brotherhood earn me another chance?" Gavin Garrison was unwilling, continuing to plead.

Aidan Sinclair stared coldly at him, "You have one minute to disappear from my sight."

Gavin Garrison looked at his unyielding demeanor and suddenly displayed a cold smile on his humble face, "Mr. Sinclair, I’ve learned a lot of insider information during my years at Morningstar. If you push me too hard, I’m not afraid to reveal everything."

Aidan Sinclair laughed, surprised at his audacity to threaten him, "Get out!"

"Alright!" Gavin Garrison nodded coldly, recklessly continuing to speak, "Mr. Sinclair, all those affairs with Morningstar’s female artists, I’ve been keeping track for you. If it all gets exposed..."

Aidan Sinclair had already pressed the desk’s alarm button before his performance started. Before he could finish talking, two burly bodyguards in sports attire entered, one on each side, to drag him out of the study.

"Every female artist at Morningstar is implicated!"

Aidan Sinclair made a call to his assistant, instructing, "Take action."

Morningstar’s books showed a loss of a full hundred million. Combined with Gavin Garrison’s years of secret money laundering and tax evasion, it’s enough for him to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Out of ten years of sentiment, Aidan Sinclair had left him with a way out, but unfortunately, he didn’t know it was there.

Elsewhere, having no clue about any of this, Gavin Garrison was thrown onto the road. To vent his anger, he spat fiercely at the Sinclair Family’s front gate.

He tilted his head to glance at Stella Jennings’ residence, thinking of the high-quality goods he provided for the couple twice, feeling both pained and angry.

"Aidan Sinclair, since you’re heartless, don’t blame me for being unwise." He didn’t leave but went once again to Stella Jennings’ house.

When Stella Jennings opened the door to find it was him again, she couldn’t help being impatient, "President Garrison, I really can’t help you."

"Don’t you want to know about Aidan Sinclair?"

"I don’t." Stella Jennings decisively closed the door.

He was stunned, then immediately knocked on the door. This time, when Stella Jennings opened the door, he didn’t beat around the bush, urgently saying, "Almost every female artist who joined Morningstar has slept with Aidan Sinclair. In his eyes, you’re nothing more than a young plaything!"

Stella Jennings was truly exhausted, frowning as she listened to him rant. With a cold face, she said, "If you keep knocking, I will call the police." Then she harshly shut the door.

Gavin Garrison definitely doesn’t understand what it means not to disturb someone who wants to sleep!

Stella Jennings stormed into the bedroom, jumped onto the bed, pulled the quilt over her head, then soon pulled it down again.

What Gavin Garrison said just now buzzed in her head like flies, irritating her.

She truly knew nothing about Aidan Sinclair’s past—a man nearing forty, without a proper girlfriend by his side until now. Either he’s not yet tired of playing or he has issues with his sexual orientation. Initially, upon hearing about him and Ethan Sterling, she thought his heart might actually be set on Ethan.

Stella Jennings pursed her lips, unsure why she cared about this. Closing her eyes, she tried again to converse with her dreams but found she was too upset to fall asleep.

"Who’s a plaything? Crazy!" She looked at the ceiling, muttered, and rolled her eyes. Finally, she picked up her phone and called Ruby Sullivan.

"Hey love, are you busy?"

"On my way to the office, what’s up?"

"I want to ask you about Mr. Sinclair."

"Go ahead."

"Did he ever have an official girlfriend before?"

"Not that I know of, but I’ve only known him for about two or three years. You could ask him directly." Ruby Sullivan held back her urge to gossip, wanting to create opportunities for the two.

At sixteen, it’s the age for budding romance; how wonderful.

After listening, Stella Jennings calmly said, "I heard that men never speak the truth about their romantic past. If I ask him, will he tell me?"

"If you ask him to be honest, I guess he won’t lie to you."

"That’s true, but I’m not his girlfriend..." Stella Jennings chuckled.

"I’m almost at the office. Anything else?"

"Nope, bye." After hanging up the phone, Stella Jennings continued to hold her phone, feeling increasingly uncertain about whether to ask. Does asking such things seem odd?

Elsewhere, after ending the call, Ruby Sullivan excitedly grabbed Ethan Sterling’s arm, "Oh my god, Aidan Sinclair and Holly really might have something going on!"

"Calm down." Ethan Sterling squeezed her hand.

"The uncle and the cutie thing is simply so cute. My head is filled with inspiration now; I’ve decided that Nirvana’s theme next year will be love."

"It should be a sell-out." Ethan Sterling smiled, complimenting.

A few minutes later, Ruby Sullivan quickly got out of the car and walked briskly towards the office building, her back revealing her impatience to rush into the lab.

Ethan Sterling thought it necessary to buy a bottle when her perfume was developed. What does love actually smell like? Just hearing the name piqued his curiosity. Truly, she was a genius.
