Chapter 120: Shower (4)
CHAPTER 120: SHOWER (4)
Georgia leaned back against Nick’s chest, her body sinking into the soothing warmth of the tub. The scent of lavender candles mingled with the steam, wrapping them in a cocoon of calm.
After their wild, mind-blowing seXercise, silence settled between them, but it wasn’t empty—it was full, heavy with the comfort of each other’s presence.
Nick pressed a soft kiss to her damp hair before breaking the silence. "I’ll be busy next week. I might not be able to visit you here as much as I want... but I’ll make sure to text, call—hell, even video call, if that keeps me close to you."
Georgia hummed sleepily, her eyelids heavy from the mixture of heat and his embrace. "You are?" she murmured, her voice painted with drowsiness.
"It’s my administrative hearing on Monday," Nick explained. "But Sunday... I need to talk to my father. Is it okay if I don’t take you with me? I don’t want you to see me getting chewed out like some teenager." He gave a soft, self-deprecating chuckle, though his eyes betrayed a trace of unease.
Georgia tilted her head slightly, concern shadowing her sleepy expression. "I don’t mind, but... are you going to be okay?"
"Yeah," he said, tracing lazy circles along her arm, the touch both absentminded and intimate. "He loves me, so I get why he scolds me even though I am already an adult.
I’m going to tell him I won’t command a ship anymore—that I’ll take a role in administration instead. Once I do, he’ll probably forget all about the license."
Georgia smiled faintly. "He wanted you to join management that badly, huh?"
Nick’s lips brushed the side of her temple. "Yeah. The only reason he let me carve my own path was because I promised to reach Captain level before his deadline. I made it. So he had to step back."
"I see," she whispered, her mind drifting. "I guess I need to turn on my phone then."
Nick frowned, glancing down at her. "You still haven’t checked it? Not since Ella gave you back your things from the cruise ship?"
Georgia shook her head. "No. I know it’s full of messages after... everything. But I don’t want that chaos invading my peace. I like this. Just you, me, and Katie. Quiet. No distractions.
That’s why I’ll extend that peace and quiet until tomorrow. I’ll spend the day cleaning the greenhouse and the garden. They’ve practically turned into a forest." She gave a soft laugh that rippled through the steam.
Nick grinned, tightening his arms around her. "Then let me help. I’ll leave Sunday after lunch to face my father, but until then, I’m yours. We’ll clean the place together. And maybe..." His tone shifted, low and suggestive, brushing against her ear like a secret. "...afterward, you’ll give me a reward when night falls?"
Georgia laughed, swatting at his arm. "Don’t tell me you’re only helping for the reward!"
"Of course not," he teased, though the glint in his eyes said otherwise. "I’d still help you even without one. But..." He leaned in, his lips grazing her shoulder. "The promise of a reward might make me work faster. And come back for more."
"Well, how can I say no to that? Manual labor deserves a ’better’ reward, don’t you think?" Georgia teased, her voice smooth and tempting as she glanced back at him.
Nick’s lips curled into a wicked smirk. "Would I like that ’better’ reward?" he asked, his eyes glinting with a mischievous hunger.
Georgia chuckled softly, the sound low and alluring. She turned around slowly until she was facing him. "I’m sure you would love it," she murmured, her gaze locking with his.
His smirk deepened. "And what exactly is it?"
"You’ll find out tomorrow..." she teased, brushing her lips against his in a light kiss that felt more like seduction than a touch.
Nick groaned, half amused, half aroused. "That’s not enticing at all! I can’t imagine anything better than being buried deep inside you." His audacious honesty drew a laugh out of Georgia, her cheeks warming at his boldness.
"Are you sure about that?" she countered, playful defiance flashing in her eyes. "Because there are still plenty of things we haven’t tried."
Nick arched a brow, mock-serious, leaning closer until his breath mingled with hers. "And how would you know that... when I’m your first? Don’t tell me you’ve been watching videos alone," he jested—only for his grin to falter when a telltale blush crept over Georgia’s cheeks.
For a second, he froze, his playful remark catching him off guard. But Georgia recovered quickly, her smile sly and teasing as she tilted her head. "Maybe I have. What are you going to do about it?"
Nick’s throat worked as he swallowed hard, his composure cracking. "Are you... tempting me right now? Because if you are, it’s fucking working."
Georgia laughed, light and carefree. "Don’t accuse me of such things," she teased, her tone dripping with innocence that didn’t match the heat simmering in her eyes.
"How about this?" Nick proposed, his voice hoarse, teasing, yet edged with challenge. "I’ll guess what that reward will be—and if I’m right, you’ll give it to me in advance. Deal?"
Georgia narrowed her eyes, suspicion dancing across her face as she straddled him in the water. Arms folded across her chest, she arched a brow. "You’re tricking me, aren’t you?"
Nick’s deep laugh echoed in the bathroom. "What? Trick you? How could I ever deceive my adorable baby?" He leaned forward and playfully pinched her cheeks.
"A baby that you fuck..." she shot back wickedly, lips curving into a sly grin.
Nick burst out laughing again, the sound rumbling through the steamy bathroom. "Yes, exactly. And you wanted every second of it. So stop dodging, sweetheart, and let me guess."
Georgia tilted her head, pretending to think, but the gleam in her eyes betrayed her amusement. "Okay, fine. But you only get one guess. If you are wrong, that’s it. You will have to wait until tomorrow."
Nick smirked and nodded, leaning back as though strategizing. "Then write it down—so I know you won’t cheat me later."
Georgia gasped dramatically. "Cheat you? Me?!"
"Yes," Nick teased mercilessly, his grin wide. "Women are notorious for changing their minds. Write it down, please."
She rolled her eyes but couldn’t hold back a laugh. "Ugh, fine! I’ll get a pen and paper."
Rising from his lap, Georgia stood and stepped out of the tub. Nick’s eyes darkened instantly, following the drops of water gliding down her curves. Her round ass swayed with every step, the droplets catching the glow of the candlelight.
His jaw clenched, hunger tightening his chest. ’I’ll make sure to slap that the next time I get my hands on it,’ he thought wickedly.
Wrapping a towel around her damp body, Georgia slipped out of the bathroom. A few moments later, she returned with a folded piece of paper in her hand, a triumphant sparkle in her eyes.
"Here." She waved it before him, then carefully placed it on the counter, just out of his reach. "I’ve written it already. Now..." her lips curved in challenge, "...make your guess."
