CHAPTER 98: BACK IN LONDON COURAGE (4)
"Fuck, Sarah! You’re really good at this!"
The raw, heated shout was the last thing Georgia and Ella heard before Georgia wrenched open the door to Nick’s cabin.
Inside, chaos reigned.
"Are you fucking insane? Stop throwing my things at me! You’ve completely lost your mind!" Nick barked, his voice sharp with fury as he dodged the objects flying in his direction.
"I will kill you, Nick! You’ll be dead before you step off this ship!" Sarah shrieked, her face twisted in rage, oblivious to the fact that they had an audience.
"My God, you really are a spoiled brat! This is my ship—my family’s business! I’ll leave whenever the hell I want! Now stop breaking my things!" Nick’s tone was a mix of command and disbelief.
Georgia and Ella stood frozen on the threshold, eyes wide, jaws slack. The room looked as though a storm had torn through it—clothes, books, and broken glass scattered across the floor, every surface a casualty of Sarah’s tantrum.
Georgia exhaled slowly, pulled the door shut, and turned. Vicky, Liam, and Steven were approaching quickly, their expressions tight with concern.
Vicky reached them first, breathless. "What’s happening in there?"
"It’s a battlefield inside. It’s really dangerous to go in right now," Georgia said flatly. "Let Nick deal with it."
But then something heavy slammed against the wall inside, followed by the crash of splintering wood. Steven stepped forward, eyes narrowing.
"Move aside," he ordered, his voice wrapped with authority. "Before the whole damn ship goes down with them." He shot Liam a look, a silent command for backup, before advancing toward the door.
Steven immediately grabbed Sarah on the waist, while Liam grabbed the chair that she was about to throw to Nick. Steven then pulled her out of the room, away from Nick and everyone.
The ladies went in scanning the room with wide eyes and disbelief in their eyes.
"Wow. Looks like there’s nothing else to pack. Seems like everything was already destroyed. This is what happens when you fuck around," Vicky jested, but Nick only rolled his eyes with his hands on his waist, still panting from all the dodging he had done.
"What did you for her to be this angry?" Ella asked in innocence.
Nick looked at Georgia who also stared at him, so he said nothing. But Vicky has a lot to say.
"I’ll make a guess. Knowing Sarah and how obsessed she is with my brother, she must have thrown herself at him, begging to be fucked, thinking it will make Nick stay. But then Nick said no, so she went on full rage mode and did this... Am I right?" Vicky said with a smirk making Liam and Ella laughed.
Nick only shrugged and started picking up the things that he could still salvage.
"Oh my God!" Vicky exclaimed, "I am so right, Nick is speechless!"
Nick rolled his eyes and said, "You’re having to much fun, huh? Help me clean this up if you have so much time to laugh there."
"Oops! I suddenly remember, I need to visit my branch here. I’ll go there now, text me when you are done and ready to go back to the hotel!" Vicky said before walking out the room.
Nick stood straight placed his hands on his waist and looked at Liam with pleading eyes.
Liam scratched the back of his head and said, I also need to check some things with the branch manager here," he then turned to Ella and Georgia. "Do you want to come with me? I could give you a tour after I sign some papers with the branch manager."
Ella quickly said yes and turned to Georgia, "Let’s go!"
Georgia shook her head. "You guys go ahead. I’ll help Nick, so we could go back to the hotel after. Katie is waiting for me," Georgia said.
"Alright, see you later," Ella said, and playfully winked at her best friend before shutting the door.
Nick’s gaze lingered on Georgia. "You sure you want to clean this up with me? I could call Evelyn and a few cadets to handle it. You can go with Ella and Liam."
Georgia’s lips curved in a wry smile. "I’ve been to ports more times than I can count, Nick. Have you forgotten what my family does? I don’t need a tour. Like I said, I’ll help you. We’ll finish faster."
She moved toward him without hesitation, her steps quick and sure.
Nick frowned, ready to protest, but stiffened when her hand suddenly caught his chin. She tilted his face toward the light, her touch firm yet achingly gentle.
"You’re bleeding..." she murmured, her brows knitting together.
"That must’ve been the book Sarah threw at me. Couldn’t dodge the first strike, I wasn’t ready," Nick said with a dry chuckle, the corner of his mouth lifting.
Georgia’s laugh was soft, almost reluctant, but her eyes didn’t leave the cut on his cheekbone. "Get the first aid kit. We need to clean and cover this; it’s still bleeding."
Nick held her gaze for a beat before nodding. "Stay here. I’ll grab it from my office."
As he left, Georgia began clearing the wreckage from the desk, righting a chair that had been knocked over in the chaos. By the time Nick returned, she was ready, waiting for him to sit so she could tend to the wound.
She gestured for him to sit, her movements brisk yet careful. Opening the first aid kit, she set out the supplies: cotton, saline, and ointment.
Without a word, she leaned in, her touch gentle as she dabbed the wound clean. A small frown puckered her lips as she smoothed ointment over his cheekbone before pressing a bandage into place.
"There," she murmured. She began returning the items to the kit, settling onto the desk as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
From the corner of her eye, she saw him rise. Then his hands were on her thighs, warm and sure, before his breath ghosted along the side of her head.
"You smell... nice," Nick murmured, inhaling deeply before his lips drifted toward her neck.
"Oh, that? We went to Bath and Body, and the saleslady—Nick!" Her words broke into a gasp as his hand slid boldly under her skirt.
But he didn’t retreat. His palm caressed her, tugging her panties down, his mouth trailing kisses along the curve of her neck. "You smell so damn good, Georgia... I can’t stop myself from wanting to touch you... to taste you... I’m sorry..." His apology came in a rough whisper before his mouth claimed hers in a searing kiss.
She pushed against him, but he didn’t yield. Instead, he pulled back just enough to meet her gaze, eyes dark and heated.
"Are you insane?! Anyone could walk in!" she hissed, breathless.
Nick’s lips curved into a dangerous smirk. "So... the only problem is the door. Which means... you’re not saying no to everything else."
Her mind stuttered, unprepared for the trap he’d just laid. She tilted her head, speechless, and his chuckle rumbled low.
"Silly," he murmured. "You’re even cuter when you don’t know what to say."
With one swift motion, he parted her thighs, stepping in close until her knees framed his hips. His hands gripped her waist, pulling her closer against him before capturing her mouth again, his kiss deep and possessive.
This time, she kissed him back, heat rising, reason slipping.
"Oh. My. God!"
They both froze, whipping their heads toward the voice. Evelyn stood in the doorway, wide-eyed. "Sorry! Don’t mind me! I’ll just... lock the door for you. Please continue..." She reached for the inside lock, the click echoing in the charged silence before she shut the door and vanished.
Nick’s grin turned wicked as he looked back at Georgia. "Problem solved," he drawled, before claiming her lips once more, this time with no intention of stopping.
