CHAPTER 115: REVERSE ROLE PLAY

When she opened the door, Yue Jie saw Yue Xin standing outside.

Yue Xin had her ears next to the door, and she gave Yue Jie a sheepish smile when she saw Yue Jie’s eyes staring at her with rage.

All right, maybe that was too much, Yue Xin thought while dodging the hand of her sister.

"What were you thinking!" Yue Jie scolded her angrily.

If not for the fact that she was disciplined and Lin Xuan Qi was a gentleman, things might have gone out of hand.

"Stop, sister. I was doing it for your own good," Yue Xin tried to explain herself.

That got Yue Jie angrier.

What did she mean by that?

She was the elder sister; when was it Yue Xin’s turn to decide things for her?

"For my own good? What do you mean by that?" Yue Jie said when her hand nearly slapped onto the back of Yue Xin.

"If you were the young mistress, you will have a better life," Yue Xin said, trying to calm Yue Jie down.

"You..."

"See, you can’t deny it," Yue Xin said with her hands over her head, stopping Yue Jie’s palm coming down onto it.

To her surprise, she saw Yue Jie smirk.

Yue Xin started to have a sinking feeling in her heart.

"Maybe you should be the young mistress." Yue Jie grabbed onto Yue Xin’s hands and shoved her into Lin Xuan Qi’s room.

Bang.

She closed the door shut and ran towards their room.

Yue Jie didn’t know whether she was doing it out of spite or had the same thinking as Yue Xin.

Being Master Lin’s wife would certainly be a better life.

"Master Lin... Err... I..." Yue Xin smiled at Lin Xuan Qi, trying to come up with a reason for her to be in his room.

Lin Xuan Qi wanted to slap his forehead at the sisters.

Can’t they give him a break? He thought.

But since Yue Xin was the one who started everything, he decided to teach her a lesson.

He walked up to her, and when he got closer, Yue Xin saw that he was naked underneath his long jacket.

She wasn’t allowed to listen to what Yue Jie and her sisters discussed as she was deemed too young even though she was only one year younger than Yue Jie.

So, Yue Xin was more curious than anything else.

She stole a glance at his body, and she regretted it immediately.

A primal desire nearly took over her body.

She felt a feeling she had never felt before inside her.

Every inch of her wanted to grab onto the well-built body of Lin Xuan Qi.

"Tell me, if not, I will have to punish you." He leaned his body close to her and whispered into her ears.

His warm breath blowing at her made her knees go weak.

Yue Xin had to use much of her will to keep herself on her feet.

Seeing how uncomfortable she was, Lin Xuan Qi felt pleased with her reaction, and he took a step back.

He held his index finger and thumb together, put them in front of her forehead and flicked his index finger at it.

"Ouch! I’m sorry, Master Lin." Yue Xin gave out a whimper in pain and apologized.

"Go back and sleep. You have a long day ahead of you," Lin Xuan Qi said and shook his head at her.

She nodded and quickly scurried out of his room.

He gave out a sigh at the eventful night he had.

However, there was a bonus for the night.

He had not seen Yue Xin up close before.

Tonight was the first time, and he realized that she was just as pretty as Yue Jie.

Her sometimes young mistress behavior intrigued him to control her instead.

"Sister, you better be awake!" Yue Xin grumbled and ran towards their room.

The prowling guards were surprised when she ran past.

They shrugged their shoulders and continued on their prowling route.

It was a long night for Yue Jie and Yue Xin.

They turned from one side to the other on their beds, trying hard to get to sleep.

The visit to their father occupied their minds.

And for Yue Jie, she went through why she didn’t reject the idea of being Lin Xuan Qi’s wife repeatedly.

Was she having feelings for him? She wondered.

Yue Xin’s mind was much simpler; the imageries of Lin Xuan Qi’s well-built body came into her mind.

It made her toss around, but unable to shake off the lust and desire for him.

Deep into the night, the candle flames of the lanterns flickered, while the moths tried to seek the light from it.

Next day.

"Yue Jie and Yue Xin, are you all right? Maybe you should have more rest first?" Xue Cong was worried when she saw the dark circles around their eyes.

They waved at her, gesturing that it was unnecessary.

Lin Xuan Qi smirked and picked up the last piece of meat from the plate in front of him.

Glad that they got their ’punishment’.

Yue Jie and Yue Xin twitched their mouths and munched on their food silently.

"Yue Jie, come with me to the retail store first.

"We shall go through the books and check on the factories.

"After that, we shall go and visit your father after lunch," Lin Xuan Qi briefed them on his plan for the day.

Yue Jie nodded her head and said, "Yes, Master Lin."

"I want to go too," Yue Xin protested and wanted to tag along.

"Fine. You can come along." He wasn’t sure what she was up to, but he didn’t want to expend his energy on this.

Lee He Song gave out a chuckle and downed a cup of wine.

He was in a rather good mood to see his old friend, and seeing the interaction between Lin Xuan Qi and the sisters gave him a sense that they were closer now.

It was the best he could ever ask for.

But not everyone was just as happy as him.

Xue Cong ate quietly while Liu Shi Shi was gulping down the tea and felt that it was sour.
