He raised his hand to brush away the strands of hair falling by her cheek and spoke gently, his voice as soft as water: "It’s not worth getting angry over this kind of person. Weiwei, I’ll take you out of here now."

    Though Ji Wei didn’t understand what Gu Moqian had nned, she trusted him unconditionally, so she nodded firmly.

    The two ignored Yamamoto Yu, who was trembling with rage, and strode toward the door.

    The men in ck surrounded them but dared not actually make a move.

    By the time Yamamoto Yu snapped out of his daze, he suddenly bellowed, "Catch them for me!"

    As soon as his words fell, a gunshot rang out, slicing through the air!

    A bullet struck the doorframe of the private room, right above Yamamoto Yu’s head.
