Laura’s fist involuntarily clenched; she knew Phoebe Turner had ill intentions!

Jasper Hawthorne frowned, "What? Kidnap the young master of the Hawthorne Family?"

Phoebe Turner immediately thought her plan had succeeded and hurriedly added, "That’s right! My sister was completely wronged, how could she know Fourth Young Master Hawthorne? And then kidnap his son to try to rise in status, those people really have wild imaginations!"

Out of the restaurant, Laura took a deep breath, ready to talk to her boyfriend about this matter, only to find him staring at her intently, making her heart sink, "Jasper, do you believe what she said?"

Jasper Hawthorne shook his head, "No, I just want to know what happened? Why didn’t you tell me?"

Laura bit her lip, "I wanted to tell you, but you were on a business trip to Manhattan at the time, and I couldn’t reach you by phone. I felt so helpless, everyone pointed fingers at me wherever I went, I was even called a kidnapper when I returned to the neighborhood."

At this moment, all Jasper cared about was whether "the young master of the Hawthorne Family" was actually his brother, Justin Hawthorne.

Laura felt a warmth in her heart, "It’s all in the past now."

Laura calmly recounted the events, as the grievances and sadness in her heart had gradually subsided over the days.

Jasper couldn’t hide his shock, "Laura, you’re now in the translation department at Aegis Group?"
