CHAPTER 384: CHAPTER 205: REGISTRATION (PART 1)

After Mrs. Geoffrey left, Rebecca Quentin belatedly realized that Mrs. Geoffrey might have misunderstood that they would return to their room right after dinner... for that.

No wonder Mrs. Geoffrey deliberately reminded them to take care of themselves tonight...

Oh my, how embarrassing!

As Rebecca was awkwardly thinking about this, Howard Geoffrey’s calm voice came through, "Mom, I have something to discuss with you."

"Oh, what is it?"

Howard took Rebecca’s hand, holding it tightly, and said earnestly, "I’m planning to register with Becca in the next couple of days."

When Howard decided on registering without consulting Rebecca, she suddenly lifted her eyes, looking at Howard in disbelief.

Mrs. Geoffrey’s body froze slightly. After a few seconds of silence, she replied, "Since you’ve decided, then go ahead. There are a few good dates in the first half of the year, suitable for a wedding banquet."

"Thank you, Mom."

Rebecca’s hand, which was being held by Howard, trembled slightly, but Howard held it tightly, leaving no room for retreat.

Afternoon.

Howard sat at his desk, handling the mountains of paperwork. Jason Wood, who had returned to T City with him, walked in from outside at that moment.

Seeing Howard, Jason respectfully lowered his head, "Boss."

"What’s the matter?"

"Vivian Lindsey has been transferred to T City."

Howard suddenly looked up, his brows furrowed, "Has she been convicted?"

Jason answered, "The court has sentenced her to ten years in prison, but she is not satisfied and has already hired a lawyer to appeal."

Howard narrowed his eyes, an icy glint piercing through the depths of his eerie gaze. He ordered coldly, "I don’t want any news about her to appear in the media anymore."

Jason quickly nodded, "I’ll go speak with those media outlets."

Howard asked in a cold tone, "How is she doing in prison?"

Jason said, "There hasn’t been any commotion, but her lawyer just called me, saying she wants to see you."

Howard’s dark eyes narrowed further, the light within them becoming unusually deep and eerie.

An hour later, at the women’s prison on the outskirts of the city.

Through the glass window, Vivian Lindsey smirked coldly at Jason.

"What, did Howard send you to talk to me?"

Jason replied blandly, "Whatever you want to say, I can pass it on to the boss."

Vivian lounged back against her chair, casting a sidelong glance at Jason, "He must be all lovey-dovey with Rebecca Quentin now, right?"

"I do not interfere with the boss’s private life."

Vivian scoffed, "My daughter’s ability to identify people is just like her father, Alexander Quentin, utterly oblivious!"

"Lady Lindsey, if you have nothing to say to the CEO, then please excuse me, I don’t have time to chat with you. The boss has other tasks for me." With that, Jason was about to stand up.

Vivian Lindsey softly uttered as Jason was about to turn and leave, "Tell Howard, even though he framed me to get into prison, I will never let it go... No matter what he’s done, even if I can’t reveal it to the world, I want him never to have peace for the rest of his life!"

Jason turned around, looking coolly at Vivian Lindsey’s face filled with hatred.

She was arrested in New York, and the American government, following protocol, eventually sent her back to the Flowery Kingdom for incarceration...

Her hair was cut short now, with no exquisite makeup to mask her, the wrinkles at the corners of her eyes were obvious, and she looked significantly more withered.

Vivian Lindsey maintained her cold smile, speaking each word clearly, "Do you think if Rebecca Quentin knew that the person she loves deeply is actually a cruel and ruthless monster, would she still stay with your boss?"

Jason sat back down opposite Vivian Lindsey and asked coldly, "The boss said you could name your terms."

Vivian suddenly burst into laughter, "So, so Howard’s biggest fear is losing Rebecca Quentin. I really didn’t expect it, that foolish daughter of mine actually has such charm, she’s even more formidable than me, her own mother..."

Jason coldly said, "Lady Lindsey, there isn’t much visitation time, I hope you make the most of it."

Vivian Lindsey stopped smiling, her voice filled with resentment, "Alright, if you want me to state my terms, then I won’t be polite... unless he can get me out of this prison, or I guarantee Rebecca Quentin will soon learn those secrets that Howard doesn’t want her to know and which she can’t bear."

Jason relayed Vivian Lindsey’s words to Howard.

At this moment, Howard stood in front of the large floor-to-ceiling window, his eyes coldly overlooking the hustle and bustle below.

"Boss, I don’t think ’M’ is just bluffing, she must have evidence."
