The sky was bright.

After the rain, the sunlight seemed especially brilliant on the balcony today.

Dressed in her work attire, she stepped out of her room. Looking up at the sun, she enjoyed the warm feeling of standing beneath it.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

Seeing the number displayed on her screen, she smiled and answered the call, "Isabella."

"Miss Quentin, I just got on the plane, and it’ll take about eight hours to get to you. Are you ready for my arrival?"

"Heh, just waiting for you, Lady Joanna."

"Alright, dear, come, give me a kiss."

She playfully made a kissing gesture towards her phone, "MWAH."

"Good girl, see you soon."

After ending the call, her smile gradually faded. She looked up at the sky again, as if drawing positive energy from it. Her smile slowly returned, and she turned around resolutely to leave.

Just as Rebecca Quentin walked into the Leonard jewelry store, she saw her coworker Chloe struggling to mop the floor.

After putting her things in her personal locker, Rebecca asked her coworker, "Isn’t it always the janitor’s job to mop the floor?"

Chloe continued mopping, panting, "Haven’t you noticed that all the sales assistants on the third floor are busy? The manager just said that the floor must be spotlessly clean, and the glass should be so transparent it looks like it’s not even there."

Rebecca looked up at the second floor and saw that the sales assistants on the second and third floors were indeed busy cleaning their designated areas.

Rebecca asked again, "Is there an event today?"

"No event, just a VIP coming," Chloe said.

"A VIP?"

As if mentioning something exciting, Chloe abandoned the mop and hopped over to Rebecca. "Do you know who this VIP is?"

Rebecca shook her head slightly.

With a bit of shyness, Chloe said, "It’s the CEO of our Leonard, Roger Leonard."

"Heh, no wonder everyone’s working so hard!"

"Of course! General Leonard rarely visits G City. I didn’t see him when he came here two years ago, and this time it’s said that he only came to G City on personal matters. It’s such a rare opportunity!"

"Look how excited you are!" Rebecca, seemingly uninterested in the matter, picked up the mop to help with the cleaning.

Chloe playfully stuck out her tongue at Rebecca. "Oh well, I know you’re not interested in men. How boring!"

Rebecca just smiled and didn’t say anything.

Chloe continued to daydream, "You know, the other two diamond bachelors are already taken, so the only one we can fantasize about now is General Leonard!"

The other two diamond bachelors Chloe referred to were Howard Geoffrey, the current CEO of Skytop Group, and Nelson Lewis, the young heir of Jennings Group.

Rebecca smiled. "Stop daydreaming and get back to work, or the manager will scold you!"

"Alright!"

Chloe massaged her sore legs and complained in a low voice, "Why hasn’t General Leonard arrived yet? I’ve been standing for almost a day, and my legs are numb!"
