Contract Marriage: Let's Make It Real, Mrs. Sterling!
Chapter 115: A Familiar Silhouette Appears
CHAPTER 115: A FAMILIAR SILHOUETTE APPEARS
The staff couldn’t help but speak more because he found that the new female lead in the MV was really easy to get along with.
She didn’t act like a diva, didn’t trouble the staff like the previous ones, and wasn’t unreasonable or spoiled.
Instead, she was always quiet, seriously listening to him, and from her occasional questions, you could tell she was genuinely paying attention and not just pretending.
Everyone likes such a person, so naturally, the staff’s favorability towards Mia Sutton skyrocketed.
While they were walking, the staff introduced some other film crews and studios shooting in the area to Mia Sutton.
Listening, Mia glanced around, suddenly noticing a large area fenced off, with lots of bustling activity around it. Even from outside, the noisy sounds from inside could be heard, like someone shouting through a megaphone.
Mia curiously pointed in that direction and asked, "What’s going on over there, and what are they shouting about?"
The staff followed her finger, looked over, and laughed, saying, "Oh, that... that’s the crew of ’Breaking Dawn.’ It’s a big production, aiming for next year’s awards. I heard they had some issues recently and picked a new supporting actor, maybe a third or fourth lead, some idol, I think."
"People say this person’s acting isn’t great, but the appearance fits. Mainly, there’s no time to replace them again, so that’s why he’s staying. You know, the director has been guiding him every day. Sometimes he gets so frustrated that he grabs the loudspeaker to scold him."
"Probably failed to shoot a scene well again and got scolded."
The person seemed to be addicted to complaining, talking endlessly, which Mia found amusing and didn’t interrupt him.
He continued, "Not to say, failing once or twice can be understandable, but making the director shout every day, that actor is really something..." and he didn’t finish the sentence.
Even though he didn’t finish, Mia knew what he meant: the actor’s poor performance was embarrassing, and he wasn’t learning properly.
Mia just smiled, not saying much, only glancing again in that direction.
Her eyelids slightly lowered, showing a thoughtful expression. She felt like the name ’Breaking Dawn’ was familiar, as if she’d heard it somewhere before.
Before she could remember, the staff led her past the front of the crew to the back.
The place where they were shooting the MV was actually adjacent to the ’Breaking Dawn’ crew in front.
After all, there are only so many filming locations in Fellwood, and with many groups needing to shoot, sharing locations isn’t unusual.
Sometimes, different crews even settle at the same filming spot, but the boundaries are clearly marked.
Mia was led to the MV shooting location.
Meanwhile, Jensen Sterling, resting nearby between scenes, accidentally noticed a familiar figure passing by the corner.
"Mr. Sterling, what are you looking at?" a male actor from the same crew noticed him staring in a direction absentmindedly and asked with a smile.
Jensen slowly withdrew his gaze, then turned his head and asked the person beside him, "Is there any filming work nearby today?"
