In shock, he twisted and turned mid-air, kicking the serpent’s lower jaw!

The serpent let out a muffled roar, but despite being kicked in the jaw, its attack did not falter, closing its mouth on the man’s right shoulder and tearing off a piece of bloody flesh!

The man let out a scream of agony, thrown to the ground. The other two were nearly petrified with fear, forgetting both to flee and to help. The serpent swallowed the flesh, exhaled a mouthful of foul air, and its eerie eyes watched the fallen tall man, slowly slithering towards him.
