Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox
Chapter 447 – A Kind Soul is back!
Aiko prepared her research about the customisation of flags.
There was a serious need for that since both the Demonic Saint and certain Ghosts got on her nerves.
The problem with Ghosts was that they were intangible by ordinary means. Most Qi Techniques would also pass through them like nothing happened.
Only the sunlight or Yang would be able to deal damage to them, and the damage would depend on how powerful they were.
From Aiko's understanding, Ghost would be able to get to the point where they could walk in the daylight.
They would still be weakened, but it wouldn't hurt them or erase them like before.
"And you should also pay attention to Vengeful Spirits." Lady Liu said slowly, gesturing to Aiko.
"En..." Aiko noted it down, but then she realised that there was someone who was not supposed to be there. "..."
"You are back?!" Aiko tried to tackle Lady Liu, but to her dismay, she only tackled the wall...
"Ugh..." Moon Aiko groaned unhappily as she rubbed her forehead, and her ears were angrily snipping.
Lady Liu giggled. "I heard that you made quite the mess when I was away..." She narrowed her eyes.
Moon Aiko flinched and looked away. "I have no idea what you mean by that..."
Lady Liu sighed. "Of course you don't..." She shook her head like she was dealing with a child.
'It's strange that I still feel the need to take care of Aiko even when I became an Emp- Ghost Empress...' Lady Liu narrowed her eyes. It seemed like Aiko had that kind of air, so she would have to help her change it over time.
'Fortunately, now I have plenty of time. Moreover, this World is sealed from the immortal eyes, which makes this that much easier.' Lady Liu giggled to herself as she floated around.
Her body was slim and youthful, and while she had an ethereal feeling without much colour, her imposing and noble air spoke differently about her.
Her slim dress accentuated her impressive curves as imperial accessories dotted her hair.
Among them, there was a beautiful phoenix hairpin, signifying that she was not just an Empress of a small nation but one of the biggest ones.
In the middle of her eyebrows was a rising blazing phoenix, and her eyebrows were like the extension of its wings.
She was a lot more beautiful than the Lady Liu that Aiko knew, but that didn't mean Aiko wanted to change her opinion of her.
Aiko still saw her as a teacher that she adored, and she wished only the best for her.
"Thank you..." Lady Liu suddenly smiled as she petted the now fully-grown Fox.
"You are welcome." Aiko's tails swished happily, but fortunately, there was nothing around to knock over.
"But this and that are different things." Lady Liu suddenly said, crushing Aiko's hopes of being excused for her shenanigans.
"Ugh..." Aiko unhappily groaned but still enjoyed the gentle caress.
'... Gentle caress?' Aiko realised something and turned towards Lady Liu. "How can you touch me when I went through you?" She couldn't understand how that was possible.
"Hmmmm..." Lady Liu pondered on it. "Let's just say that I have a lot of experience in this." She would always escape the Immortal World, and for that, she needed to capture and turn things. This naturally meant that she would have to be able to touch it in her intangible form.
She wouldn't tell Aiko about this. It contained causality and karma that Aiko would be unable to deal with at her current stage.
"Suspicious." Aiko narrowed her eyes, but it was obvious that Lady Liu didn't want to talk about it, so she wouldn't press on.
"But where did your lively appearance go?" Lady Liu tilted her head. The Aiko that she remembered was nowhere to be seen.
Sure, she was still cute and lovable, but the previous innocent air was gone, replaced with a naive yet alluring air.
"We are taking turns...?" Moon Aiko didn't know how to properly explain this, so she just concluded it with a few simple words to satisfy Lady Liu.
"..." Lady Liu didn't know what to say. Did that mean she would have to put in twice the amount of work she would have to usually do? Well, at least her Sis was around to help her with it, but...
'Maybe my Sis is not a good role model...' Lady Liu sighed.
"I'm currently working on a weapon that can punish Ghosts." Aiko narrowed her eyes. It seemed that Lady Liu was still a bit lost, so Aiko would give her some room to think about things.
"Ah, but don't go too far from me. There are plenty of powerful Foxes around." Aiko warned Lady Liu.
Lady Liu simply nodded before sitting on the bed.
Aiko was mesmerised by how noble yet erotic she looked. 'I'm more inclined to learn this. If it can even affect me, I wonder what it would do to normal Cultivators...' She smirked in her mind, but Lady Liu whacked her head.
"Auch!" Aiko pouted at Lady Liu. "Bully."
"You were thinking about something naughty, so it's only natural I should punish you." Lady Liu puffed her cheeks back. She was a lot younger than Aiko remembered her, so she looked quite cute like this.
"Not true..." Aiko couldn't meet Lady Liu's eyes since she now had a much more authoritative air.
Lady Liu giggled. "I will take my time with you~" She licked her lips gently.
"I-I'm already taken!" Aiko yelped back.
"Hmmmm~?" Lady Liu didn't believe that Aiko would be able to attract a normal partner, so she would have to vet them herself.
It would be bad if Aiko was taken in by some kind of bastard who wanted to take advantage of her!
"Fine, I will leave it at that for now, but I hope that this 'weapon' won't be used on me." Lady Liu narrowed her eyes.
"Of course not. I don't believe that you will do anything that would make me use it on you." Aiko said sincerely, tugging on Lady Liu's heartstrings.
"We should probably contact Chen Shi now..." Lady Liu smiled happily at Aiko's words and proposed this. That way, Chen Shi would naturally come to them, and Aiko would be able to learn even more Inscriptions, which would help her attain the first steps for the Drawing into Void.
"... About that..." Aiko scratched her cheek with some embarrassment.
"What?" Lady Liu tilted her head.
"We are inside a Sacred Realm." Aiko looked away guiltily.
"... Huh?" Lady Liu didn't believe that Aiko would be able to visit a Sacred Realm any time soon.
"We are inside a Sacred Realm..." Aiko repeated her words and covered her head.
"But how...? You are not strong enough to deal with the monsters inside Sacred Realms..." Lady Liu smelled some kind of evil ploy that was about to happen.
"Am I not?" Aiko believed that the Demonic Foxes were an exception since all of them were ridiculously strong, but if the other Beasts and Humans were like this... 'Well... fuck...'
"You are by no means weak, but at your current stage, it would be difficult to deal with Beasts." Lady Liu sighed. "Where are we even?" She looked around. The room was lavishly decorated, like Aiko was some kind of nobility.
Moreover, the Foxes around were by no means weak, but for some reason, none of them wanted to hunt her...? What kind of strange place did Aiko stumble into?!
"That is true." The Demonic Foxes from the Sacred Realm nodded. "Even we struggle here alone. We have to move in groups to ensure safety."
Aiko realised that this place might be more dangerous than she thought.
"But wouldn't that mean that you could wipe the Human Cultivators that come into this place?" Aiko couldn't understand why they were holding back.
"While we are strong, a peace treaty is in place that as long as we are not attacked by Human Cultivators, we won't retaliate. That goes for most other Beasts since they are a lot more powerful." One Demonic Fox explained to Aiko.
"Oh..." Aiko didn't know that there was such a deep meaning behind this.
"In other words. They won't invade this place as long as you won't indiscriminately slaughter everyone?" Aiko pondered on this issue, but this was possibly the most probable cause.
"Correct." The Demonic Foxes were impressed by Aiko's quick wit. The internal proposals were now completely skewered into incorporating Aiko into their group.
It also seemed that Aiko had many stories to share, so the Demonic Foxes were looking forward to those, too!
"Alright, let's stop this. This is too complicated, and I just want to research my stuff." Moon Aiko wanted to rest while she could. She had a feeling that later, she would not be able to rest easily...
Lady Liu giggled, and the Demonic Foxes smiled warmly. They did expect something like that to happen, but Aiko would have to one day listen to their stories too...
...
Aiko worked on her poles, or rather a secret weapon that would impale her opponent's rear.
Contrary to what you might think, the rear was one of the weak points for both Cultivators and Beasts.
There was something like an unspoken rule between everyone about not targeting sensitive places.
Of course, most Cultivators didn't abide by that so that they could undress female Cultivators tops... but that didn't mean they would be happy about what Aiko was currently doing.
Most, if not all Cultivators, would never target their lower half. Even the most desperate Cultivators would not go for it!
In this sense, Aiko had no moral sense. It was a good damaging point that could pretty much halt the Cultivator, and it was not guarded.
It worked wonders unless they were masochists!
Now Aiko was working on a special weapon that would affect the Ghosts, she still didn't forget that Inscription Ghost inside the Inscription Association. She would be back for revenge once she was evaluated again.
There was also an issue with Vengeful Spirits, but if Aiko finished this, it would also naturally cover them, too.
Aiko also should work on obtaining some kind of Cultivation Manual for Lady Liu so that she would be able to spend more time outside.
However, that was an issue for later. It seemed like Aiko would be unable to freely traverse this place, without at least a guide.
If she stumbled into a den or something like that, she would have a hard time running away and protecting her life...
