Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox
Chapter 500 – Dream unlike any other – Part 1
Li Xiu, with her Master returned to their Peak.
Unlike its name, it was not hidden at all, a testament to the fact that Cultivators were bad at naming things.
Sun Aiko had a strange feeling in her body, but she ignored it for the time being.
"Let's rest first before doing anything." Li Xiu was slightly tired from visiting the main Peak, and everything could wait after they recovered energy.
Aiko also didn't recover all that much Vitality, so Li Xiu wanted to wait for that too.
She knew that Aiko had a powerful recovery ability from what she saw before.
Aiko didn't protest at all. Li Xiu's bed was nice, so she didn't mind experiencing it again.
And from what she understood, she could always return and cuddle with the 'Winter Beasts'.
...
Sun Aiko went to bed in her small Fox Form as it was more comfortable right now.
And the dreams melded with reality.
...
......
.........
Sun Aiko opened her eyes. She was in a white space without anything.
Looking around curiously, she ran in one direction to see if anything would change.
'Aiko.'
A voice reverberated from somewhere.
'Aiko...'
It happened a few times, but Sun Aiko couldn't find its origin.
'Aiko!'
Suddenly, Sun Aiko crashed into something. It was breathing heavily, like it was tired.
Sun Aiko lifted her head, and to her surprise, it was a familiar figure.
"Mei~" Aiko immediately hugged her again.
"Guh-" Mei didn't expect Aiko to be so strong in dreams, so she was slightly startled. Her energy was certainly weak, but she didn't seem injured at all.
'Energetic Aiko...' Mei groaned slightly. This would complicate things greatly, since it didn't seem like this kind of Aiko would take it kindly if she were to wait for too long.
Mei groaned and frowned, but she was unable to voice her opinion.
Suddenly, her body was mounted by Aiko, but this time-
"What's wrong?" A cool beauty stared at Mei from above.
Mei's heart palpitated, but she shook her head quickly.
"This time it's normal clothing?" Moon Aiko tilted her head as she caressed Mei's clothing.
Mei choked for a moment because she didn't expect this kind of reaction after seeing the overly active Aiko.
This cool beauty felt cold and calculating; her languid eyes made her gulp nervously.
"You seem injured." Before Mei could say anything, Aiko continued with her assessment.
The injury went from her hand to her whole body. Moon Aiko immediately understood what had happened.
"I'm sorry... it seems like I have injured you." Moon Aiko sighed gently as she caressed Mei's hand.
She gently massaged it before intertwining her fingers with Mei's.
Mei's heart beat irregularly. There were so many things that she wanted to tell Aiko, but she couldn't open her mouth.
She blamed herself for many things, but the solution was too simple for it to be true.
"You seem lost for words?" A different voice came from Aiko. "That is slightly disappointing."
Mei felt hurt, but she knew she was not in a position to say anything about disappointment. She only lifted her head to see another Aiko. One that she had never seen before.
This Aiko was not much taller than the others, but her jet black hair was as striking as Nightmare Aiko's. Yet Mei didn't think that was the case.
Her long foxy ears had white insides with a few streaks of red. The same could be said of her huge tails. They were completely black, but the tips were white with a few red lines running through them.
It felt like corruption, like something was wrong with her.
Yet her body was far from 'corrupted', it felt like it was the corruption itself.
Aiko had a bewitching face, with clearly red lips, just begging for attention. Her other features didn't change much, just that her eyebrows and eyelashes were black, but were lined with red makeup.
She felt a lot more mature and older than she was before.
Her bosom was of impressive size. Mei guessed it was around D, maybe more. She was definitely supposed to hate it, but she had to agree that if Aiko wouldn't hold her hand, she would already try to cop a feel.
Aiko's body was slim, the hourglass figure once again, yet it was obvious she was different from Sun and Moon Aiko.
She had sensual authority over her movements, captivating Mei even further.
Her plump thighs and long legs were straddling Mei.
Mei subconsciously placed her other hand on Aiko's thigh, making her own body plop on the non-existent ground.
Unlike the other Aikos, this one didn't have sharp nails; it felt like she was less of a monster and more of a human.
"You do know that just because you will act meek and submissive, doesn't mean 'we' will forgive you, right?" Aiko met her body with Mei's. Their plump blossoms were squished and squeezed to the sides, making Aiko's face come close to Mei's.
Mei had to look somewhere else, since she felt like this was a dangerous situation and not the good kind.
Aiko sighed. "When will you start seeing us as equals? Sure, not all of my 'sisters' are the brightest, but that doesn't mean they are dumb." She shook her head. "I understand that you wish to deal with everything on your own terms, but I believed we had something special going on."
Mei pursed her lips and her face scrunched painfully. Her hand, which was held by Aiko, squeezed and quivered gently.
"I understand. I'm not really a 'good' person, and as time goes on, you might hate me." Aiko understood that. Her race and position were both coveted and hated.
"I don't really hate you... I... do like you." Mei murmured.
"Yet you won't even say it to my face." Aiko shook her head as she let go of Mei.
Mei was startled, since Aiko would always cling to her. She looked up and saw Aiko's pained expression. Her eyes were clearly moist.
"Well, whatever, it's not like I will be here for long." Aiko murmured. She stood up and gently stomped.
[#### Encroachment]
The dream that Mei created was immediately taken over by Aiko. She didn't care much about what Mei wanted to achieve in this white space, but it was obvious she would keep her 'sisters' in here until she was ready.
Aiko clicked her tongue as the dream turned black. A small field of glowing flowers sprawled all around them, and stars appeared above them.
In most Mortal Worlds, stars were quite rare, as most worlds were not actually round.
They were like cut land, spread out and wrapped in a powerful barrier so that void entities couldn't invade them.
The Mortal World Aiko was in was different, as it was a complete and round world.
However, Aiko was captivated by the calm stars in her previous life, so she just recreated them here for her 'sisters'. She didn't have much time until she vanished from this dream. So this was the least she could do.
Mei was not responsible enough, and her 'sisters' were too chaotic to be easily dealt with, yet she had hope. Hope that this person will give her something she has never got or experienced.
Was she wrong? It was possible, but she was no longer like the Old Princess.
She... did learn a few things, or at least tried.
Mei was shocked, her dream had never been taken over before, much less recreating a 'world'. She was confused and startled when 'Aiko' turned around.
"I wish... You weren't treating 'us' as servants..." A single tear rolled down her cheeks as her body quickly crumbled into nothingness.
Mei felt dumbfounded. With an outstretched hand, she was trying to stop this even when she knew it was beyond her control.
What just happened? Who was that? Were on her mind, but more pressingly-
Mei stood up and walked towards the lone building. The architecture was familiar, yet foreign at the same time.
Entering the building, she encountered a sleeping beauty.
It was the cool beauty snuggling on a pillow, breathing gently.
Checking her state, it didn't feel like anything was missing. Then, in that case, who was that? It definitely felt like Aiko, but not at the same time.
However, Mei believed it was Aiko. When you don't have time to manifest yourself properly, then the feeling would be more foreign. That Soul was definitely Aiko, and there might be more to it, but her words pierced both her heart and consciousness as the last words resonated inside her mind.
"'They' might be unwilling to leave you, as they are young in 'our' terms, but I'm not willing to suffer further. You will be able to keep these egos by your side, but they will no longer grow. The choice is yours."
Mei was confused; her hands were quivering.
She gently caressed Aiko's head as she peacefully slept in front of her.
...
Some time later, Moon Aiko woke up. She felt a gentle hand running through her hair, and she yawned slightly.
"It seems you have cried." Moon Aiko blinked her eyes a few times.
"I have no idea what you are talking about." Mei was confused, but Aiko ran her thumb from Mei's cheek to her lips.
'Salty...' Mei slightly scrunched her face.
"You are a bad liar, like us." Moon Aiko shook her head.
Before Aiko could vanish again, Mei intertwined her fingers with hers.
"What is it?" Moon Aiko tilted her head. She didn't really mind this situation, but she would rather research this place.
"I'm sorry." Mei sniffled, her head hung low, and she was unable to meet Aiko's gaze.
"It seems you are not finished yet..." Moon Aiko shook her head gently as she let Mei's head onto her bosom. 'It was written in that book, so I wonder if it will work...'
With one hand, Aiko held her body, while the other was used to caress her fox ears and silky hair.
Mei was confused for a moment, but she felt her emotions crash like a broken dam.
She went and went, muttering things between hiccups.
...
Moon Aiko was unfamiliar with this kind of Mei. She was always strong, walking forward without asking about opinions, yet right now she was like any other fragile girl.
'A bit childish?' Moon Aiko didn't understand it, but she was willing to learn, like her sisters.
