Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox
Chapter 521 – How is everyone doing~
[Intake of poison exceeded the limit of the body.]
[Creating another bead.]
[Current number: 89]
[The system will process as many different poisons as possible to award the best physique as close to the physique that #### wishes for.]
[The rest will be deducted from either personal Providence or system Providence, depending on how much it would cost.]
[Further adjustments are necessary, as it seems individual 'Aiko' is trying to solve her problem by isolating the smaller issues.]
[This is counterproductive towards the future, but there is no need to intercept yet.]
More poison was being refined in Captivating Aiko's incomplete body. However, thanks to the sheer number of them. She was being refined, like the surrounding flowers.
The vitality and everything else would be later used to finish Aiko's metamorphosis in a spectacular way.
There might be some damage to the surroundings, but since they gave Aiko the a-okay, she didn't care much about it.
...
Moon Aiko woke up from her restful sleep. She marvelled at the fact that she didn't have that shitty Title that blocked her from resting properly.
Her surroundings were all green, which puzzled her, but since she was able to taste the poison on her tongue, she concluded that her body was absorbing this.
Nodding her head gently. She lay down and let it do its thing.
-----
Mei woke up from her pleasant dream. Her face was slightly red as she couldn't believe what she did to Aiko and how she acted.
However, at the same time, it didn't feel all that bad.
Mei doodled circles on her sheets as she didn't really want to stand up. That soft sensation was still lingering on her face, and that scent was still in her nose.
Breathing in the sheets, she wondered if Aiko would smell that amazing in reality, too.
"Am I interrupting anything...?" Dai Lu felt quite awkward, since she felt like she had just witnessed something she shouldn't have.
"Not a word." Mei immediately snapped out of it with a red face and glared at her 'attendant'.
"Yes, ma'am!" Dai Lu said playfully, but she really meant it. She didn't want to lose this opportunity, since Mei pretty much solved all of her issues. Outside of the missing tails, but she was working even on that!
"Tsk." Mei was displeased that she was interrupted.
"You look a lot better." Dai Lu subconsciously said with a faint yet genuine smile.
"..." Mei wanted to scold her at first, but she pursed her lips. "Yeah." She had to admit she felt much better knowing Aiko was doing well and that she wouldn't disappear anywhere.
"Good. The Old Elders are moving into the Nightmare Forest, but they are being delayed by Delegations, since they are trying to get 'that' technique out of them." Dai Lu clicked her tongue in annoyance. If she had all of her tails, she would already have cut all of their heads!
"Scum. All of them." Mei snorted. She already purged the imprint that they tried to give her during the exchange of energy, and she even mixed one cute curse into it.
That curse reminded her of Aiko and her chaotic ways.
"Hehehe, baldies~" Mei snorted happily as she imagined the delegation going completely bald, including their tails.
Dai Lu shivered. She had the best insight for deciding to side with Mei. Otherwise, she would now be on the receiving end of two devils.
She couldn't quite decide who was worse. Mei was quite predictable, but vicious, while Aiko was the embodiment of chaos, but not as destructive as what Mei was planning.
"You know that we might be kicked out of the Fox Sect?" Dai Lu pursed her lips.
"So what? Do you want to get into that hellhole?" Mei didn't have a good opinion about the mainland. If it was not for her Sister's picture, where she was enjoying the Fox Sect, she wouldn't go there at all!
"And then what?" Dai Lu wanted Mei to be careful with her decision so it wouldn't bite her later.
"We will just switch Sects." Mei shrugged, but they would be fine even if they didn't join any Sects.
Mei knew how to make Pills, and Aiko was even learning Forging. They weren't really missing anything.
Sure, techniques might be harder, but Mei had plenty in mind that they could use, so that was also not a big issue.
"Knowing Aiko, she probably already hooked up with at least one Sect Leader and made them indebted." That was partially true, since Aiko spoke about the flying boat, but it was more likely she would get some kind of favour instead of the flying boat.
That favour then could be used to get them into a Sect on the mainland, which was more than perfect.
Little did she know that Aiko didn't hook up with just one Sect Leader...
"..." Dai Lu blankly blinked. Knowing Aiko, that was very much possible, but still.
"I will be careful." Mei sighed. She could see the genuine worry that Dai Lu was displaying.
Dai Lu nodded gently.
"They will probably call me back, since I'm still the Grandmaster." She sighed gently as she didn't really want to go.
"They are still denying that you are my attendant?" Mei rolled her eyes.
"En. As you predicted." Dai Lu chuckled darkly.
"How about the others?" Mei narrowed her eyes.
"Everyone is already 'registered' under you. The Twins are still training well, since they were upset for allowing Aiko to get hurt like that. The Blood Fox is acting strange, but we could use that to bait the Old Elders." Dai Lu went through the list of things that they should deal with.
"The Twins will be trained by you as always. I will talk with the Blood Fox about the plans and Aiko." It seemed to Mei like the Blood Fox was hit the hardest. She would always blankly stare at the horizon or strangely walk around and do things.
Nobody was yet aware that the Blood Fox was possessed from time to time, so they were making her into a heartbroken individual.
Well, they were not exactly wrong, as she missed Aiko.
-----
"Haaaaa!" Yuxi roared.
*clang*
"You are still distracted..." Wanshu sighed.
"I..." Yuxi looked hurt.
"I know. We both want to get strong so we can walk next to Aiko, but you can't rush it." Wanshu immediately cuddled her partner, since she looked so damn ravishing when she was feeling down.
Yuxi snuggled back, which startled Wanshu, but she didn't reject her at all.
"Do you think Aiko is alright?" Yuxi suddenly said.
"Definitely~" Wanshu replied softly, trying to soothe her partner.
"How can you know that?" Yuxi tilted her head.
"What? Weren't you supposed to be the fanatic of Aiko?" Wanshu teased her partner. "Shouldn't you be the one who believes in her no matter what?"
"..." Yuxi didn't reply immediately, which showed how serious the issue was. "I'm just worried..."
"Then believe in her and nothing bad will happen." Wanshu caressed her partner's hair. "It's not the first time she almost destroyed a Realm, so it's possible it's another Aiko's thing." She shrugged, like she sort of expected some kind of disaster.
"Right..." Yuxi nodded her head. "The Delegation tried to pursue me."
"Which bastard should be castrated?" Wanshu immediately raged.
"He even promised me a flying boat." Yuxi giggled, feeling much better from the stern reaction of her partner.
"That's it, let's castrate them all!" Nobody was allowed to pursue what was HERS!
Yuxi laughed again, and Wanshu relaxed.
"But I'm serious." Wanshu pouted like she was being wronged.
"I know." Yuxi gave Wanshu a tender kiss. "How about we rest for today?"
"Okay." Wanshu kissed Yuxi back. She would indulge her partner any day, since they were so closely connected.
When one was happy, the other was happier, but when one was sad, it had the same effect on the other.
Only when they worked together towards a happy future would they feel fine.
-----
The Blood Fox once again looked into the horizon.
'You are still resisting.' The voice clicked his tongue.
'As if you could do anything to me.' The Blood Fox rolled her eyes. Thanks to that fan, for some reason, he was unable to showcase his possession abilities, which granted her some freedom.
'Nobody will save you.' The voice tried to sway her, but...
'Right back at you.' The Blood Fox snorted disdainfully. 'Nobody will save you, nobody will care about you. You will regret everything you have done until now as you slowly boil in your own blood.' She giggled like he was not a big deal.
'You-!' The voice 'glared' at her. 'Even if you find me, you can't overthrow our current Princess! You are nobody in front of her! Her control over Demonic Qi is unparalleled, and you can't even control blood properly!' He tried his best, but...
'Yes, I have made a mistake, but I will plead with my Mistress to help me, and then I will crush you like the ants you are.' The Blood Fox laughed. She was waiting for Aiko to return.
She would then dedicate her body, mind, Soul, everything to her.
The Blood Fox would no longer shy from anything. Mei might've been here first, but her indecisive nature caused too many things.
It would be better if she were the main wife, so that Mei could understand the harsh reality.
The Blood Fox giggled darkly. She was looking forward to that stunned expression Mei would have one day!
-----
Fang Jia was looking out through her window. They were high up in the skies, flying over an endless blue 'lake'.
Next month, they would arrive at the main continent, and it would be harder to contact Aiko as the Fox Sect was completely isolated.
Foxes also had many enemies, but Fang Jia didn't mind. Aiko was cute and wanted to learn Forging.
Fang Jia would do her best to build the perfect place where Aiko would be safe, but also not restricted.
This would then turn into their own special place.
"You have progressed well." Fang Jie couldn't believe her daughter was THAT talented in Forging.
"Thank you for allowing me to take this path, Mom." Fang Jia ran into her mother's arms and thanked her gently.
"I'm glad you were able to find your own way." Fang Jie smiled happily.
"Mom..." Fang Jia said gently.
"Yes, dear?" Fang Jie was truly happy right now.
"You should use clean before coming here. Dad's and Patriarch scent is all over you." Fang Jia ruthlessly told her mother about this.
Fang Jie choked and immediately sniffed her clothing.
"I'm joking." Fang Jia stuck out her tongue.
"You-!" Fang Jie couldn't believe it. She was now teased by her own daughter!
"But you should put up an Isolation Array; it's hard to sleep." Fang Jia ran away before she was caught by her mother.
"Rascal! Come back!" Fang Jie 'angrily' shouted, but her face was completely red. 'You told me nobody would hear us! Just you wait, Lian!'
