Coincidentally, today was Li Lin’s birthday, so they used it as an excuse to invite all their classmates out and get them drunk. She thought their plan was so perfect that there couldn’t possibly be any flaws.

Unexpectedly, what she thought was a flawless plan had already fallen into Gu Xingchen’s eyes.

Gu Xingchen tirelessly explained, "I told you, without my help, Huo Junmo would never have appeared at the hotel tonight! Likewise, without my help, you couldn’t possibly have secretly placed her on the bed in the room!"

Gu Xingchen pointed to the large Simmons bed in the room and said, "Take off her clothes, put her on the bed, and cover her with the quilt!"

Su Yuexin and Li Lin did as instructed, stripping Ye Anxin of her clothes and throwing them on the floor.

During the process of undressing, Gu Xingchen turned his face away, only turning back after they had completed the task, placing a pre-prepared note on the bedside table, weighing it down with an ashtray, before leaving the room with relief.

Gu Xingchen, hands in his pockets, smiled and said, "Everything is done; I’ll handle the monitoring room so no one will find out it’s your doing. You can go now!"

"Okay!" Su Yuexin stared at Gu Xingchen for a long while before nodding and leaving with Li Lin.

After they left, Gu Xingchen turned off all the lights in the room and also left the presidential suite.

About half an hour later, the door of the suite was opened again. Huo Junmo, without turning on the lights, stumbled into the room in the dark.

Huo Junmo’s assistant placed him on the suite’s sofa and said, "President, I’ll go get you a hot towel!"

"No need, I’m feeling very dizzy. Help me to bed to rest, then you can leave," Huo Junmo shook his head, staggered to stand up, and swayed backward a couple of steps unsteadily.

The assistant quickly stepped forward to support him, taking Huo Junmo to the bedroom, helping him lie down and covering him with the quilt, before turning and leaving.

About five minutes later, Huo Junmo suddenly felt an unbearable heat in his body, as if something was trying to break free.
