Ye Anxin asked puzzled, "Uncle, why aren’t you eating?"

When they finished lunch and returned to the company, it was already 2:30 in the afternoon.

Seeing Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting walk down from the CEO’s elevator hand in hand, Judy’s pretty, delicate eyes almost blazed with fire.

Mu Beiting and Ye Anxin walked into the office, directly bringing her to the lounge, "You should take a nap!"

"Okay!" Ye Anxin lazily yawned.

After getting up, Ye Anxin saw a sticky note placed on the bedside table.

The sticky note was left by Mu Beiting, telling her that he went to a meeting which would end at 5:30, and asked her to wait patiently for him.

There was also a thermos cup placed on the bedside table. Opening it, the rich aroma of milk wafted out.

Ye Anxin took a sip, and it was still warm!

Although she was drinking milk, Ye Anxin felt as if she were drinking honey, her heart felt sweet.

After finishing the milk in the thermos cup, Ye Anxin left the lounge and found the book she hadn’t finished reading earlier on the bookshelf to continue reading.

The time always flies by when reading!

Ye Anxin was so engrossed in reading that she didn’t even notice when Mu Beiting returned.

Mu Beiting walked up to Ye Anxin, saw that she hadn’t noticed his presence, and said, "If you like it, take it home to read!"

Ye Anxin abruptly snapped back to reality, looked up at him with a smile, "Uncle, did you finish the meeting?"

Ye Anxin sat in the business car, holding onto Mu Beiting’s arm, and asked concernedly, "Uncle, is everything at the company settled? Why did you get off work so early today?"

Actually, it’s not that she didn’t want Uncle to get off work earlier! It’s just that he always seemed to have endless work, working overtime late every day! Today, leaving work on time was really unprecedented for the first time.

Mu Beiting calmly answered, "To accompany you to see your parents!"

Mu Beiting took a folder out of the briefcase.

Ye Anxin asked puzzled, "Uncle, what’s that?"

After they got out, Mu Beiting took Ye Anxin’s hand, and they walked up the stairs together.

When Mother Ye opened the door and saw the people standing outside, she thought she had seen wrong, rubbed her eyes vigorously and only after confirming recognized them, happily invited them in.

Mother Ye poured them each a glass of water, slightly scolding, "Anxin, why didn’t you tell me you were coming? That way I could’ve bought more groceries!"

Ye Anxin took the water and cheerfully said, "Mom, if I told you, then it wouldn’t be a surprise!"

Mother Ye couldn’t help but give her a gentle knock on the head, "You child!"
