Ye Anxin gently nudged his arm, "Uncle, did you hear me?"

Mu Beiting remained silent for a while before reluctantly nodding in agreement.

"Great! Then I’ll leave for now! After school tomorrow, I’ll make fish soup and come back to see you, Uncle!" Saying this, Ye Anxin let go of his arm and stood up with a smile.

It wasn’t until Ye Anxin reached the door and placed her hand on the handle that Mu Beiting’s voice sounded from behind, "Let Pete take you!"

Ye Anxin shook her head with a smile, "No need, I’ll take a taxi back!"

Not long after Ye Anxin left, the hospital room door was pushed open.

Mu Beiting acted as if he hadn’t heard, continuing to focus on his work.

Mu Beiting’s actions deeply hurt Su Yuexin, thinking about his change in demeanor made her feel extremely aggrieved! Her nose soured instantly, and tears as large as beans rolled down from her eyes.

"Beiting, I know you’re still mad at me, I know, it’s my fault, I was wrong, please forgive me, okay?" Su Yuexin spoke tearfully, her sobs full of grievance.

Mu Beiting had no reaction, still looking down at his files, then signing his name on the ones that required it.

Unwilling to give up, Su Yuexin sat down beside Mu Beiting, holding his arm, "Beiting, please say something to me, it hurts me when you act like this!"

"Out!" Mu Beiting forcefully shook off her hand from his arm, his voice gradually showing impatience.

Mu Beiting’s force was strong, with no sense of tenderness, he simply flung Su Yuexin off the bed.

Su Yuexin fell from the bed to the floor, her arms and knees exposed outside the dress hitting the ground, scraping, even her ankle got twisted and swollen.

Mu Beiting stepped over Su Yuexin on the floor, got out of bed, and repeatedly washed the area on his arm she had touched with hand soap until his skin turned red, only then did he walk out.
