She had been crying for so long yet Mu Beiting remained indifferent. If she stopped crying now, she was afraid Mu Beiting might think her remorse was insincere. But if she continued, who knew when it would end! Now that Pete was here, she hoped Pete could say something to give her an out, so she could duly stop crying. Otherwise, if she kept crying like this, she might go blind!

Unexpectedly, Pete just nodded at her, then ignored her and stood by Mu Beiting to report, "Mr. Beiting, I have personally escorted the Madam back to the villa!"

"Mm!" Mu Beiting replied flatly, then handed the processed documents to Pete, "Take them back to the company and follow the procedures on them! Come at noon tomorrow to handle my discharge, I want to leave the hospital!"

Pete hesitated, "Mr. Beiting, it’s only been three days, the wound isn’t completely healed yet; leaving the hospital might be unwise?"

Mu Beiting frowned, spoke in an indisputable tone, "That’s an order!"

"Yes!" With Mu Beiting speaking so firmly, Pete dared not say more, and nodded in agreement. Then he arranged the files signed by Mu Beiting and prepared to leave.

It was as if Mu Beiting only realized Su Yuexin’s presence in the ward. As Pete grasped the door handle, ready to leave, Mu Beiting spoke again, "Take her away!"

"Yes!" Pete obliged, turned around, and gestured to Su Yuexin, "Miss Su, please!"

"Beiting...!" Su Yuexin bit her lower lip desperately, looking at Mu Beiting hopefully that he might change his mind.

"Leave...!" Mu Beiting coldly uttered the word with no warmth in his expression.

"Then I’ll see you tomorrow!" Su Yuexin squeezed out the words reluctantly, finally departing the ward.

To prevent Su Yuexin from returning to the ward to disturb Mu Beiting, Pete specially drove her home, waited until she entered the house, and then left.

Su Yuexin stood at the door of the rented house, watching Pete’s car disappearing, clenched her fists tight beside her, gritting her teeth, her eyes turned cold, a stark contrast to her earlier gentleness.

Not until Pete’s car disappeared from sight did Su Yuexin angrily turn and enter the house.

Upon entering, she immediately sensed something was off.

The house was a mess, tables and chairs overturned, cups and chopsticks shattered all over, the coffee table and sofa displaced, slanted across the middle of the living room. Basically, everything that should be standing was lying on the floor, and all the ceramic that should be broken was pretty much shattered! The whole house, chaos cannot fully describe.

"Mom... Mom...!" Su Yuexin was shocked, hurriedly running to the bedroom.

Sure enough, in the bedroom, Mo Qiaoyan and Su Quan were tied up on the bed, with smelly socks gagging their mouths, their faces punched swollen like buns, if one didn’t look closely, it was hard to recognize their original appearances.

"Dad, Mom...!" Su Yuexin exclaimed, rushing over to remove the smelly socks from their mouths and untie them.

Once free, Mo Qiaoyan began to wail, "Ugh, damned b*stards, I’ve lived for decades and never suffered like this, ugh... If I find out which s*n of a b*tch did this, I’ll kill their whole family! Ugh... it hurts...!"

Disturbed by Mo Qiaoyan’s crying, Su Yuexin glared at her but couldn’t be bothered to comfort her, directly grabbed Su Quan’s arm and asked, "Dad, what exactly happened? Everything was fine, I was only gone for a while, how did the house end up like this?"
