CHAPTER 46: STOP BULLYING XENA

"We have secured a good facility on the main road in Steeferce City, Master," Hanna said as the maids returned from registering Han’s company and securing a site for his Maid Restaurant.

Reclining in a chair, Han nodded. "Is it furnished?"

"Yes. It used to be a restaurant, so it has everything you need to start this business," Hanna replied.

"It’s very different from this place in the Underworld," Han said as he looked around.

The two-story house lacked furniture and sat mostly empty. He couldn’t tell what it had been used for before. The owner had cleaned it out. The open space would make setting up his Underworld clinic easier.

Proximity to the thoroughfare mattered most. He’d use the basement for experiments with various bloodlines. Upstairs, he’d store his precious items and keep a room for himself. He didn’t worry about security. Hounds often prowled the area, and at least one maid would always stand watch. He had only ten maids, so each would have her own room.

"We would survive anywhere, but having a home, two at that, feels good." Han smiled. He let out a slow breath, tension easing. "You’re all free for the rest of the day. We’ll split the maids into two groups: the Outside and the Inside. The former will operate in Steeferce City and the latter here. I’m thinking of putting Hanna outside to pick up interest faster. Your youthfulness and sexy face, backed by the older, devoted maids, will create real allure."

"As you wish," Hanna said, bowing.

She would also choose four more maids for her team.

Han added, "You’ll also take Xena with you. I want to see her in a maid outfit. Feel free to order her around as you wish." Xena’s jaw tightened, but she held her tongue.

Hanna’s eyes gleamed with a sinister light, as did the others’. They had all argued with Xena. She looked down on them for their lack of mana. They’d gone back and forth for a while, and now Hanna and the others could exploit their authority over her.

I wanted to work in the Underworld because it seems like this is where Master will work much more... thought an old maid.

I had the same idea. And if it means we can bully this bitch regularly and shame her in front of everyone... thought another.

They came to the same conclusion. Then I might as well take this chance and enjoy tormenting her!

All nine maids snuck glances at Hanna. She saw through them and smiled, then announced a quick game for spots on the Outside Team. A ripple of excitement moved through the maids.

Han sensed the mood shift, too. He inwardly grinned and kept to himself that a maid on the Inside Team had a much higher chance of becoming a dragon once he obtained a different dragon bloodline. He didn’t know how long acquiring a new dragon bloodline would take.

I might be able to find traces of a Red Dragon’s bloodline in my veins, but that would be too difficult after my Evolution. Well, down the line, I’ll eventually find something. I’ll let them have fun deciding the sides and who gets to bully Xena.

As the maids formed their own circle, with Xena finally catching up to their enthusiasm and glaring daggers at them, Han called Bellatrix to his side. She pulled up a chair beside him and sat with her legs together, hands resting on her thighs.

He smiled. "Let’s talk about the medicine and treatment of this world before I start my Underworld Business. I’m aware that using your holy spells will make others suspicious of me. I’ve already drowned your Sun Essence in my Black Flames and stored it, so we will have to wait for the results. Those two essences are clashing right now. Still, how do clinics usually operate?"

Han came from an advanced world where medicine was potent and lacked any mana or spells. He wondered if he would be able to perform surgeries here and use that as cover to steal bloodlines and essences. If not, he’d need to find a way to mask his Cauldron Spells as Healing Spells.

"Most healing uses Spells and Magic Circles, where Priests, Priestesses, or Healers guide the healing power where it’s needed. Under their keen eyes, they knit wounds, force the body to create new cells and tissues, and so on. Only in severe cases do they cut bodies open," Bellatrix explained. Han tapped the armrest, thinking.

So the operations I had in mind won’t cut it unless my healing effects are on another level. Before I have a reputation, I can’t fully sedate people. At most, I can use local anesthesia. I need to think of something quickly.

Then Hanna’s game ended. The selected maids lined up to show Han who would work at the Maid Restaurant.

"What did you play?" Han asked.

"Numbers," Hanna replied.

"I see. Well, have fun outside starting tomorrow. Learn the city’s hierarchy, make connections, and make sure no rumors slip past us," Han said.

His maids nodded.

"As for the Inside Team, we’ll take a carriage from Denver tomorrow and get basic furniture for the clinic. We’ll then pay a visit to the Maid Restaurant," Han said with a chuckle.

"As you wish!" the maids chorused with enthusiasm.

The work didn’t intimidate them. After years of caring for useless Han, it fired them up. They were eager to fulfill their missions and stand out, all so Han would pick them for the next Dragonification process. Naturally, Hanna smiled. She was already ahead and ready to use her status to gain the most points from Han.

That was day one for Han and his team in their new environment.

Han took a quick shower, then went upstairs to his room. Hanna had already made his bed, so he plopped onto the soft mattress and closed his eyes.

Hanna stood at his bedside, looking at his sleeping face. After a few minutes of fighting her instincts, she stepped closer, leaned down, and buried her little nose in Han’s hair, inhaling until her heat calmed.

Master... collar me or rail me. I need you to do me so bad.
