CHAPTER 100: CHAPTER 99: THE PARTY DISASTER V

The cool and collected Rhydric cool raised a brow, his lips pressed into a line as he took in Athena’s movement. His posture didn’t shift, but his eyes lingered a moment longer than usual.

Theodore had a wide grin plastered across his face, leaning casually against the snooker table. " Shit...did she really moved like that? Fuck my dick is so hard..."

Azrael, unreadable as ever, let his gaze travel over Athena, the faintest corner of a smirk tugging at his lips. He didn’t move, didn’t intervene, but his eyes... his eyes said everything. That damn white hair. That sway. The way she ignored them all. He almost...almost felt like he could just watch her dance forever.

And then there was Eryx. Who was a minute from dragging her out of the dancing floor...then she started moving to his surprise. She was dancing, her body swaying confidently to the point that fire lit up his body.

And she was good. Damn good.

Each movement she made the grip in his chest tighten, made the heat in his veins spike. His molten gold eyes followed her hips, her shoulders, the soft movement of her hands. Every step she took was an insult to his control, and he hated it. Loved it. And hated that he loved it.

Felicia was grinning like a fool, watching her friend dance freely. Perhaps...it wasn’t a bad idea dragging her along after all.

Athena, meanwhile, had found her rhythm. She let go of the tension, let the sorrow and anger melt into the music. She wasn’t performing. She wasn’t trying to impress anyone. She was moving, flowing, and living in that moment.

And the crowd? They cheered. They watched. They couldn’t take their eyes off her.

Even the Phantom Fours, who thought they’d seen everything, had to admit... she was untouchable.

The music thumped harder and faster now, and the heat of the dance floor made every heartbeat feel louder. Felicia yanked Athena forward with a grin, spinning her into the rhythm like she had no choice, and Athena, something inside her snapped lose. Letting herself go.

Leo, never one to hold back, grabbed a bottle of champagne with a flourish, popping it so the cork shot across the floor like a warning. The golden liquid fountained into the air, glittering under the lights, and Leo tilted it expertly into a waiting glass... and then, without hesitation, poured it over Athena.

Athena tipped the glass back and gulped it down in one smooth motion. Felicia’s eyes went wide, jaw dropping.

"Uh... I... wow," Felicia breathed, partly horrified, partly impressed.

Athena’s lips curved into the faintest, sharp grin, and she started moving differently. WILDLY. Her hips rolled, swayed, sliding in time with the beat, hands flying up into her hair, raking it back and sweeping it to the side. The product made it shimmer, wet and glossy under the lights.

The crowd around them blurred. The music became everything. Her every movement screamed power, control, and chaos wrapped in silk and fire. Every sway of her waist, every toss of her hair felt like a silent challenge. It was like she was saying to the world: I exist. Deal with it.

Felicia, grinning like a madwoman, bent low, grinding against Athena’s side in perfect rhythm, hyping her on, laughing, wild. Athena didn’t care. She let Felicia move with her, letting the energy between them explode outward, like they were both igniting the dance floor.

Athena grabbed the champagne bottle again, tilting it back, and gulped. Head back, eyes half-closed, lips glistening, her chest heaving slightly with each motion. She looked untouchable. Unstoppable.

Eryx, from across the room, froze mid-step. His eyebrow arched slowly, sharply, and his jaw clenched. She’s drunk? The Athena he knew was innocent but this version of her? Fuck...it was like his obsession over her doubled.

A waiter appeared then, sliding silently between dancers and moving straight to Athena like he’d been drawn to her by fate itself. He held out another glass of champagne, almost like an offering, and without thinking, without hesitation, Athena took it. Lifted it to her lips. Drank it down.

No one around her, Felicia, Levi, Leo batted an eye. It was just another extension of the madness on the floor.

Felicia leaned into Athena again, laughing, bending low, matching her moves, hyping her on. "That’s it! Own the floor! OWN IT!"

Athena laughed too, wild sound that cut through the music. She was dancing like it was her last day on Earth, swaying and spinning, champagne in hand, hair cascading, hips rolling, a storm in white net. Every eye followed her. Every head turned.

Even the Phantom Fours weren’t immune.

Rhydric’s expression was unreadable as ever, but the way his gaze lingered on her sway betrayed him. Theodore, leaning against the snooker had thrown his head back laughing, slapping the counter in disbelief. Azrael, perfectly still, smiled faintly, eyes glittering over her white hair, the sway of her body, the chaos of it all.

Eryx’s just look and didn’t know how to react.

Athena was still swaying, when something suddenly felt off. A prickling heat had started low in her chest, spreading fast. She ignored it at first, shaking her head slightly, telling herself it was nothing, just the champagne, the excitement of the dance, maybe too much movement.

But it wasn’t nothing.

Her skin burned, her heartbeat thundering in her ears, and a strange wetness pooled between her thighs, making her step falter only slightly before she forced herself to keep moving. Her body screamed at her to stop, but her mind, stubborn as ever, pushed through. Dance. Keep moving. Ignore it.

The heat intensified, wrapping around her like fire. Every step, every twist of her hips, made it worse. She could feel her blood rushing not just her pulse in her neck, but throughout her body, quick and hot and maddening. She gritted her teeth, letting the music carry her, hoping maybe, just maybe, ignoring it would make it go away.

But It didn’t.

She muttered every curse she knew as she moved closer to Felicia.

"I’ll be right back," she said, letting her hand slip from Felicia’s.

Felicia didn’t look up, lost in the rhythm of the music, spinning with Levi and laughing with Leo as he hyped her on. "Okay! Don’t take too long!" she called over her shoulder.

Athena’s steps were quick, her head swimming slightly as she made her way to the bathroom. She wasn’t entirely sure why her body felt like it was on fire, why her blood felt as if it were boiling. Champagne? Possibly...she didn’t even know how many glass she drank. Glass? Who was she kidding? She literally drank from the bottle.

She splashed water on her face again and again, trying to calm herself, trying to push the fire out of her system. Nothing worked. She wiped her face, caught her reflection in the mirror, and for a split second frowned at the flushed skin, the sweat, the glint in her eyes. She wasn’t calm. Not even close.

And then the bathroom door opened.

Adrianna.

Two guys trailing behind her. Athena froze just for a heartbeat, feeling the effects of the drug teasing at the edges of her mind. Adrianna’s eyes immediately locked onto her, a smirk spreading across her face like it had been painted there.

"Well, well," Adrianna said, voice light, teasing, dangerous. "If it isn’t the little white-haired princess. Didn’t expect to see you hiding in the bathroom. Thought you’d be dancing like everyone else... or maybe the music’s too much for you?"

Athena blinked, feeling her head swim slightly. Heat, blood, wetness, it was all tangled in the back of her mind, but her voice stayed low, steady, razor-sharp.

"I’m not hiding," she said slowly, letting each word land. "Just... taking a moment. Unlike some people, I don’t need to make a scene to feel important."

Adrianna’s smirk faltered just slightly, her eyes narrowing. "Oh? You mean like that little stunt at the cafeteria? Everyone still remembers, by the way."

Athena let a small, cold smile curl her lips. "I’m sure they do. But I’d hate to remind you some lessons... are unforgettable for a reason."
