DC: Rise of the Kryptonian Tyrant
Chapter 381: Know the Purpose
Oa Galaxy, more than 80 million light-years away.
Eighty million light-years. How vast is that?
1 light-year equals 9,454,254,955,488 kilometers.
The diameter of the solar system is 30 billion kilometers, which is just 0.003 light-years.
The diameter of the Milky Way is 100,000 light-years.
The Oa Galaxy had been completely annihilated, transformed into a colossal black hole. A massive rupture had torn through the universe, and the high-latitude matter flowing from the Blood Domain possessed a body even more fearsome than a demon god. It stood amidst the broken sky.
The universe has a boundary, and beyond that boundary lies the high-latitude flow of matter from the Blood Domain, separating the distances between universes.
This kind of high-latitude matter from the Blood Domain represents both devastation and protection to any universe and lifeform. If the universe loses its cold and silent equilibrium—protected by the membrane formed during the Big Bang—this Blood Domain matter will surge in like floodwater, annihilating all life and drowning the universe itself.
Now, in the universe pierced by Bardi, the sky's blood began flooding in wildly, like a violent needle, piercing Bardi's massive body, measured in light-years.
Within moments, the blood had infiltrated Bardi's body. Absorbed by his flesh, it triggered the evolution of his godlike form. Antibodies formed in his cells through peristaltic motion, adapting to absorb the physique of heavenly blood. In an instant, he absorbed what felt like an infinite amount—an unending source of power.
"You... can't escape!"
Bardi's eyes were pitch black. His enormous pupils, larger than the sun, stared coldly at the five-dimensional space-time portal through which Golden Superman had escaped.
Sooner or later, he would find the Fifth Dimension.
And to locate the Fifth Dimension, he had to destroy the multiverse and compress it into his own universe. When that happens, the Fifth Dimensional Kingdom, which relies on the multiverse, will naturally be drawn in and conquered by Bardi.
With a cold expression, Bardi quelled the rage from Raven's abduction. He focused on the universe, now torn open. The blood of the sky poured in wildly. A hole more than 30,000 light-years wide continued expanding. If left alone, in ten years, the heavenly blood would engulf the entire universe.
Yet Bardi himself was blocking the heavenly blood. His body was autonomously absorbing all of it.
"Speed Force!"
Suddenly, Bardi's chilling, demonic god-sized body stood in the midst of the enormous black hole. He reached out and grabbed the air. Between his fingers, which could snatch stars and moons, the unique lightning of the Speed Force sparked and surged.
The Speed Force writhed in his grasp like a reluctant thunder serpent, wailing as it resisted.
Suddenly, Bardi clenched his fist and pulled, as if tearing down the heavens, ripping open a giant rift.
From the moment he became the Flash, Bardi had already been connected to the Speed Force. Now, in his sole divine form, he used his will to control the universe's power rules. The Speed Force had no strength to resist. At its limits, it was now caught in Bardi's hands.
In an instant, Bardi's cold black eyes flashed with lightning. The powerful Speed Force surged into him, absorbed furiously. His massive frame flickered within the black hole, bathed in lightning.
"Hmph..."
Bardi narrowed his eyes. In an instant, he had drained the entire universe's Speed Force. Its source had been severed.
The Speed Force Wall had automatically cut off its connection to this universe.
This meant the Speed Force of this universe now was Bardi. Time and space were fully under his control. Bardi had truly become the god of this universe.
After devouring all of the Speed Force, the universe itself seemed to pause—time no longer existed.
Then, Bardi infused the now-divine Speed Force, transformed by himself, into the ruptured cosmic hole. The influx of heavenly blood was halted, and the tear in the universe was sealed.
He turned and waved his hand. The thunderous Speed Force dissipated, merging into the universe.
The Speed Force itself was a safeguard of the universe. It served as the quantum regulation of matter, space, and time. Only the Speed Force could repair the universe, restore the membrane, and protect it from invasion.
The universe, like massive gears, began to turn again. No one noticed that everything had just stopped for several seconds.
Bardi's eyes pierced through space, seeing every corner of the universe.
His expression cold, his titanic body stood within the black hole. The black hole, more than 80 million light-years wide, collapsed, froze, and vanished. With a single step, Bardi exited the frigid stellar region of 80 million light-years, and the stars around him streaked by like falling meteors.
With that one step, he emerged from a tunnel of light—through time. The stars flashed past like grains of sand. He shrank his body and headed directly to Earth, to the Temple of Barmulodi, to the back garden where Raven had been captured.
The branches and leaves were lush. Slivers of sunlight pierced through the canopy, casting narrow beams of light onto Bardi's marble-white, sculpted figure.
Bardi stared at Raven's last footprints, his gaze fierce and furious. With a sweep of his hand, he manipulated the time, space, and matter of the entire universe to recreate an image of the past, searching for any trace of Raven.
As long as there was a single footprint left in this universe, it would not escape him.
Immediately, the moment played out, Raven had been intercepted by Spectre and Phantom Stranger, who disrupted the timeline reflection and appeared there.
"The two of you, without permission, entered the grounds of the Temple of Barmulodi. My husband will be angry. Please leave at once. Thank you."
"Please do not resist. Come with us, Lady Raven."
"You two... are here to deal with Bardi?"
"His actions, spreading the system, prematurely ending countless lives across the multiverse—he has caused widespread death. I'm sorry for what he's done to you, but we have to stop him."
"I see. Sorry for the trouble he's caused. I'll tell Bardi to let them die naturally. This can be resolved through the recycling system."
"That won't fix the problem. His very existence is a threat to the multiverse. He should not be here."
"I understand. Then we'll leave once Bardi stabilizes this universe and brings peace to it."
"Don't worry. Bardi is a good man."
"You kidnapping me... that's the beginning of the real disaster."
"We've paved a path for him. He'll return to where he belongs."
"What are you planning to do with me?"
"You will return to your father."
"Bardi... I'm fine…"
At the end, Raven sealed herself in a blood-red crystal, and Bardi's fury erupted like wildfire.
"Very well. You want to use Trigon to reap the benefits?"
"You're not qualified!"
Bardi's eyes burned with rage, his expression ice-cold. His voice echoed through the entire Barmulodi universe.
"All legions, assemble!"
(To be continued.)
