Chapter 939: Extra: Shi Mu vs Si Chen 3 Chapter 939: Extra: Shi Mu vs Si Chen 3 The two were looking at each other. While Shi Mu was observing Si Chen, Si Chen was also taking in the sight of Shi Mu. After some time apart, Shi Mu had become noticeably slimmer, and his cheeks, now more hollow, made the angle of his chin more prominent, lengthening the appearance of his face.

Feeling the depth of Shi Mu’s gaze, Si Chen suddenly awoke to the realization that his heart was pounding in his chest as if he were a girl being stared at by the man she loved!

Damn! Si Chen cursed inwardly.

He banished the strange thoughts from his mind and then looked at Shi Mu, saying coldly, “If that’s the case, then thank you. I was drunk yesterday, and I guess I mistook you for some woman. I will repay this favor!”

With that, he reached for his clothes and trousers, putting them on right in front of Shi Mu.

Shi Mu watched him the whole time, and just as it seemed Si Chen was about to step away, he suddenly said something unexpected, “I agree with you!”

Agree with me? Agree with me what? Si Chen froze in his tracks, looking at Shi Mu with some confusion.

Shi Mu replied indifferently, “I agree to live in my house.”

Si Chen looked at him, bewildered, “You agree to let me live at your place? When did I ever say I wanted to live at your place?”

Shi Mu smiled, half in jest, “Last night, you said your house was being faked, you were staying in a hotel, you weren’t happy with the hotel, so you wanted to move in with me, to cohabitate!”

“Cohabitate?! Damn, how is that possible? Are you mistaken! Who are you trying to fool? I would never say such a thing!!” Si Chen stared at him incredulously.

Even though his room was being renovated, even though he was currently staying in a hotel, and even though he had indeed been drunk the previous night and asked Shi Mu to take him home, he was one hundred percent certain that he would never have said anything about cohabitating with Shi Mu.

Shi Mu still sat on the edge of the bed, his tone leaving no room for questioning, “There’s no need to debate whether you said it or not; I’ve already made up my mind. Just move in.”

Damn! Si Chen swore again in his mind, not understanding when exactly Shi Mu had become such an aggressive person.

Wasn’t it that he said he didn’t love him anymore, that he already had a lover, and yet he insisted on having him move in? Wasn’t he afraid that his lover would get angry and jealous?

Si Chen was somewhat puzzled by Shi Mu, but he also had a faint feeling that Shi Mu probably hadn’t forgotten about him.

Regardless of whether what he had said last night was true or false, Shi Mu had already conceded, offering a way out. As long as he took the next step accordingly, their relationship might not continue to be so… awful!

Shi Mu cleared his throat and then added, “I agree to let you move in, but there will have to be some ground rules.”

Si Chen glared at him silently, curious to see what tricks Shi Mu was playing.

“There are two bedrooms. I already had a part-time cleaner tidy up the guest room. From now on, you’ll stay in the guest room. Unless necessary, I won’t enter your room, and you are absolutely forbidden from entering my room!”

“And then?” Si Chen sneered.

He really thought too highly of himself. Si Chen was ready to overturn his initial thoughts; this guy had not considered at all offering a way for someone else to save face.

Shi Mu continued, “All the household chores will have to be done by you.”

“What?!” Si Chen frowned.

Shi Mu said, “This is my house. You said you weren’t comfortable staying at a hotel, so I’m letting you stay here. I’m not even asking you for rent. Just doing some housework in lieu of rent shouldn’t be a problem, right?”
