Chapter 101: Chapter 101As soon as Aaron cleared the tenth wave, he collapsed on the ground. He was tired after dealing with them and needed to rest for a few minutes.

The monsters of the tenth wave are all between 100 and 109, which with his level and undead army wouldn’t be a trouble for him if he fought them individually, but the waves are not like that.

He had to fight a lot of them, and his army was not enough to stop all of them. He had to fight with everything in order to win without getting injured. A lot of skeletons and ghosts were killed in the last wave. He had to summon them again and also use his attack skills to keep the monsters away from reaching him.

It was truly exhausting for him to do all those. Also, he has been fighting with minimal rest since he entered the palace. All this led to him collapsing on the ground to breathe a little and eat something to refill his lost energy.

As usual, the mechanical voice came after he completed the tenth wave.

[You have cleared the tenth wave.]

[You have successfully cleared all ten waves.]

[Please wait, the reward is being calculated.]

    [...]

Seeing that the reward might take a few minutes, Aaron decided to eat to replenish his consumed energy, and at the same time, he decided to check his status.

The level directly went from 78 to 87, due to defeating monsters that were of higher levels in the last three waves. The huge level difference with the monsters and the 100x EXP perk made that possible. S~ea??h the N?vel(F)ire.ηet website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

This increase in level increased the number of FSPs and SPs on the status panel.

In the skill section, two skills improved due to continued use. They were Mana Ball and Dual Cast. Both of them were Rank 4, but now have reached Rank 5. Other skills improved as well, but their ranks are already very high and are not actively used much.

So, the improvement was only minimal and not enough to improve the ranks.

There were two new skills that he obtained as rewards from the trials. He hadn’t the time to think properly about them. Now he does.

Aaron couldn’t help but sigh when he saw the number of FSPs and SPs that were on his status.

"I need to find a way to quickly dispose of those FSPs. I once feared that a few days’ gap in levelling would cause the FSPs to reach zero, but with how fast they are increasing and how low the consumption is, there would be too many for me to use".

"If I use them too many at the same time, I would lose control of my body, but a large number of FSPs on my status panel leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Having a lot of resources means nothing. Only when one was capable of turning those resources into strength, would those resources matter".

"There should be a way to use all those FSPs at a faster rate. I just need to find that. After leaving the ruins, I should concentrate on that instead of levelling or training every day. There is a lot I don’t know, and without proper knowledge, if I enter places like this, I would miss out on a lot of chances".

"There were a lot of treasures here that I have no idea what they were. If they weren’t guarded by the monsters, I wouldn’t have thought they were treasures. I should have missed out on a few, as I didn’t feel they were treasures, but there was nothing I could do. I should learn a lot from now on and make sure that I won’t repeat the same mistakes again".

"Anyway, that was for later. For now, let’s concentrate more on the SPs, which I can make use of now, and I should. Having high SPs does nothing. Only by improving the skills would I be able to do something in life".

"So, let’s start with the two new skills, Death Drain and Insights", Aaron thought as he started to increase their ranks.

Both skills are very useful, but Death Drain would be used actively while the other one wouldn’t be used as actively as Death Drain, but Aaron decided to bring them both to Rank 9, which consumed each 679 SPs.

In addition to that, he also increased Summon Skeleton rank to Bronze Rank 7, while Summon Ghost rank to Bronze Rank 6, which consumed 5000 SPs and 3000 SPs respectively.

    Skills/Spells: Summon Skeleton (470/470) (Bronze Rank 6) (470/630) (Bronze Rank 7); Summon Ghost (390/390) (Bronze Rank 5) (390/470) (Bronze Rank 6); Death Drain (Rank 0) (Rank 9); Insights (Rank 0) (Rank 9);

    Skill Points: 11,107 1,749

    --

With the improvement of Skelton and Ghost skills, the number of Skeltons increased to 630, while the ghosts increased to 470, making his army cross the 1,000 mark.

After improving his skills, he was left with 1,749 SPs, which he could have used on other skills or even on Death Drain and Insights to increase to the Bronze Realm, but he held himself back.

If he did, he could have completed the requirement to reach Elite grade, but his mind said not to. There were two conditions to reach the Elite grade, but both were not equal. How can there be two conditions that are not equal to reach the same stage?

He felt that reaching the Silver Realm for a single skill would yield much better rewards for him than increasing five skills to the Bronze Realm.

If one counts the SPs required for a skill to reach Bronze Realm from Rank 0, that would be over a thousand, nearly 1200, making a total of nearly 6000 in total.

If you take a single skill, the number of SPs that would be required to reach Silver Realm from Bronze Realm would more than double the required for five skills to reach Bronze Realm.

So, he believed that making a single skill reach the Silver Realm would be much better and the reason why he held back.

    ---

As he was thinking about how to spend the FSPs and SPS, the mechanical voice reappeared.

    [Reward calculation was completed.]

    [Reward is being distributed.]

"Ah, let’s see what kind of reward I would get after going through all that", Aaron muttered as he got up and shut his eyes to receive the reward.
