Chapter 34: Chapter 34Yeah, Aaron crossed level 20 and reached level 21.

After reaching level 20, there was a rank-up quest. Due to the rank-up quest, though he can’t level up, the EXP gained would be accumulated till he could complete the Rank-1 quest would be stored.

When he re-entered the dungeon, he had to clear three floors to complete the quest and after that, he cleared the boss.

Since he was already level 20, the EXP gained from Boss wouldn’t be enough to reach level 21 but the accumulated EXP from the three floors and his personal boost of 10xEXP due to his talent made it possible to reach level 21.

Now that Aaron reached Rank-1, every level up he should get +10 FSPs and +4 SPs but due to his talent, what he got was +100 FSPs and +40 SPs for reaching level 21.

This means for level up. he can easily improve a single attribute by 100 if he wants to, but that would be a disaster. He would lose control over his body if the attributes are increased quickly.

Sure, as he levels up and increases his attributes, he could increase them at a higher rate, but that takes time. For now, he can’t increase his attributes by +100 at a time. It would be a total disaster.

Everything that needs to be done is done. So, he can leave for his home now and so he did. He can improve his attributes a bit and also increase his newest skill but that can be done at home.

In fact, even his Roll a Dice and get a skill, that could have been done at home but he was pretty nervous about what he would get and whether he would actually get any.

The chances of getting his professional skills out there are already low. This roll-a-dice is the best chance to acquire professional skills. So, he couldn’t wait till he reached home and so, he did that here.

Now, everything else can be pushed for later.

So, he immediately left the dungeon to his home. Tonight would be the last night he would be spending with his parents for the next four years.

    Every minute counts.

Before that he first went to the guild to sell the monster drops that he had no use for. Yeah, except for the boss who dropped an item, the others dropped only monster parts.

They are used by alchemists and he is not an alchemist. So, he has no use of them but he can sell them to the Hunter’s Guild and they can sell those to the ones that need them.

When Aaron returned home, his parents were already home.

His parents would also be home early because tomorrow Aaron would be leaving them and they would only see each other after four years. So, they decided to have a celebratory dinner tonight.

Aaron too was happy that his parents decided to do this.

In the morning, he would be leaving and that meant there would be no home-cooked meals for the next four years.

All his life, he never ate outside of home. He never made much of friends in school, so there was no eating at stalls with friends and such things. He always ate at home. He never complained about that though as he loved the food made by his mother.

Only a few times, he ate outside food but that was when his parents brought leftovers from work.

Tomorrow would be the last meal that he could taste that was made by his parents. After that, no home meals for four years. So, he too wanted to enjoy and savour the taste of home, but he couldn’t ask his parents to do that. They have their own jobs to do and only got promoted recently.

So Aaron couldn’t bring himself to ask them to do things for him.

"Sweetie, go wash up. Dinner would be served in fifteen minutes", Maya spoke as soon as she saw Aaron enter the house.

"Yes Mom", Aaron nodded and went to his room to freshen up.

He went to the bathroom to clean himself. After all, he just spent a lot of time in the dungeon and got himself covered in a lot of grime and blood from the monsters.

It is pretty common for hunters.

Luckily he was a summoner and the only attack skill he had was a long-range skill. Also, the monsters would disappear a few seconds after they were killed. So, there would be no muck when he picks up the drops.

Even if that were the case, his body would be covered in sweat because of the running, escaping from enemy attacks etc...

While fighting with the boss, his skeletons fell and he had to summon new ones. It was a lot of pressure and for a minute he felt fear. Also, continuous summoning would be exhausting for the body.

The boss kind of targeted him at the end, which made him run and at the same time, some of the blood from the boss spilt on him. This is common for hunters and in comparison, he looked better than others when they came out.     After having a good bath, he dressed up and went straight to the dining hall.

Maya prepared a lot of dishes. She knew that though there is still breakfast the next morning, that was just breakfast. Aaron can’t eat much in the morning. So, whatever he could, he could only do so now.

So, she prepared a lot of dishes but made sure that she didn’t go overboard with the amount of food. She wasted food wastage. As a chef, her sacred duty is for the food.

She has to prepare the best food that she can and never waste any food.

It was a principle that she took to heart very much and made sure that everyone in the house did so too. Thomas is a cook like her. So, he understood that follows that.

Since Aaron was little, she made sure that whatever he took into his plate, he always completed that. She never let him waste any food.

    ---

The three of them sat at the table, and started to enjoy the dishes.

The night continued with them enjoying the food, enjoying all these years of memories but in the end, it all ended with them in their beds to make sure that they would wake up not late as that might make Aaron miss his train.
