Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent
Chapter 35
Chapter 35: Chapter 35Aaron woke up early in the morning, much earlier than he used to.
This was because he had a train to catch to Dusk City. If he misses that, he has to wait until two days later to catch another train there or he has to hop through various trains to reach Dusk City.
This is not the only way to reach Dusk City but is the best as the other ways would take even longer than three days to reach Dusk City or cross the start date of the academy. So, he can’t miss this train.
Also, Aaron already bought a ticket. If he misses the train, then that would be a waste of money as there is no refund if you miss the train.
So, he woke up early and got ready. S~ea??h the ηovelFire.ηet website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
He then quickly packed a bag. There was not much to take with him anyway. So, he was done in two hours after he woke up. After that, he went to the dining room for the breakfast.
---
When Aaron entered the dining room, his parents were still in the kitchen preparing food.
"Mom, I am ready", he called out.
The kitchen was next to the dining room and one could easily hear from the next room.
"Okay sweetie, we are done too. Just a minute", Maya said.
"Okay", Aaron said and sat at the table.
A minute later, Maya walked out of the kitchen holding a plate, which she placed in front of Aaron.
"Are you two not eating?" Aaron asked his mother, seeing that she only brought a plate of breakfast.
"We will sweetie. Your father and I were preparing food. We will be done in a minute, then we will join you. You can start", his mother spoke.
"Preparing food?" Aaron was confused by her words.
She literally came here holding his breakfast. So that means the breakfast preparation was done. So the confusion on Aaron’s face.
Maya seeing the confusion on her son’s face, said, "We are preparing some snacks for you to eat on the train".
"Oh", Aaron nodded his head understanding that.
Maya returned to the kitchen joining her husband in preparing the snacks, while Aaron dug into his breakfast.
A few minutes later, Thomas and Maya came out with the snacks. After that, they too had their breakfast, while Aaron packed those snacks and brought out his luggage bag to the hall.
There was only one bag that has his clothes and daily necessities. Now there are two, though the second one is smaller than the luggage bag. Moreover, it would reduce its weight by the time he reach the academy as it is full of snacks.
His parents prepared a lot, not just for the journey but enough to last for a few weeks in the academy.
Aaron thanked them for the effort. Now, these snacks could be supplemented whenever he misses home food. Though snacks aren’t exactly what he would miss, they would do.
After they were done with breakfast and everything, Thomas and Maya took Aaron to the train station. Aaron could have gone on his own but they too have to go to their work. So, taking him to the station was not a problem for them.
They have already applied beforehand, that they will be late for work today. They intend to send off their son. This would most likely be the last time they might see him until four years later.
They already know this fact.
If only they had lived closer to Dusk City, then they might have had an easier way to see each other but they are very far away. The time to travel to and fro would take almost a week. So, it is not an optimum thing to do.
They can move to near Dusk City, an idea that floated for a second during one of their dinners but that means they have to start over. So, Aaron refused that choice.
Just because of him, he didn’t want them to uproot everything that they built for more than two decades.
Moreover, it was just for four years and after that, he would return home. So, in his opinion, there was absolutely no need to do that.
Since that idea had heavy opposition, they intended to spend every moment that they got with each other.
Thomas and Maya entered the station with Aaron. Since the boy had a train ticket, he didn’t need anything else but the parents had to buy platform tickets before entering the station.
It didn’t cost much. So they bought two, one for each, as they intended to be with Aaron, till the train arrived and departed.
---
Half an hour after reaching the train station, the train that Aaron had to board arrived at the station.
"Mom, Dad, don’t worry. I would be fine. Most of the time I would be inside the academy. So there would be no danger for me. You don’t need to be stressed about me", Aaron hugged his parents, saying his goodbye.
"We know Aaron", they replied as they hugged him too.
This would be their last hug for the next four years. So, they hugged a bit more tightly than usual but Aaron didn’t say anything about it as he too hugged them tightly.
Till now, he was never away from them. Even though he was prepared for this moment beforehand, when the time came, it hit differently.
Tears formed in his eyes, but he didn’t let those drops fall.
Koo! Chooo!
"Go on, the train seems to start", the couple said as they stopped hugging so that Aaron can board the train.
Aaron boarded the train while his father handed him the two bags after he stepped onto the train.
After boarding, he didn’t leave the entrance. He waited there saying his last goodbye.
The train started to move but Aaron still stood at the entrance, waving at his parents and so did they. He kept waving till they were out of sight. Only then did he leave the position and go to look for his seat.
