Chapter 36: Chapter 36Aaron was able to find his seat quickly.

Since he would be travelling for almost three days, he decided to book a berth beforehand. The journey includes two nights. So, he needs a place to sleep. Only berths have such a facility.

The general compartment berths were all filled. So, he had to pick a cabin berth, though they were a bit costlier than normal ones. There was nothing that he could do.

A lot of students students should be on their way on the same train as him. There are not that many trains in the first place.

So, as it was the time for the academies to open their doors, a lot of students should be on their way to their respective academies.

This train is not just going to stop only at two or three stations. A lot of stops are there and in those places there are academies.

Though Aaron may have entered the top five academies, not everyone could. For them, there are other academies, which are on the path that the train takes.

It was not a coincidence but by choice. The train paths were laid to touch the places where the academies are or at least pass through nearby towns or cities.

This is done for the convenience of the students and because of the academies, trade would be very high near them. So, trains are essential to transport those goods to and fro from these places. sea??h thё N?vel(F)ire.nёt website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

All the academies essentially start on the same day. So, every student is rushing to start their first year at the academy and no one wants to be late. So, almost everyone booked tickets in a way that they would be at their academies a day or two earlier than the start date.

So, Aaron has no choice but to book a cabin berth. These cabins have various configurations. The one that Aaron booked has only two berths, opposite each other. It means only two passengers would be there inside the cabin in total.

    ---

After the train started, he quickly found his cabin. Unlike normal compartments, cabin compartments have fewer passengers. So, there was no one in the path and that made it easy to locate his cabin.

When he arrived at the cabin, he tried to enter it but couldn’t as it was locked. It means the other passenger is already here. So, he could only knock on the door.

A few seconds later the cabin door opened. It was a woman in her late thirties or early forties.

"Can I help you?" the woman asked him.

"My...sss..seat" Aaron stuttered a little but was able to spit out those words.

One can’t blame him for stuttering.

This woman, his co-passenger, wore a standard, black suit. In between the outer black suit and the white shirt on the inside were bulging, majestic, and glamorous mountain peaks that were about to burst.

Looking at those majestic mountains, Aaron couldn’t help but wonder whether the little buttons on the chest were really capable of holding those peaks from bursting out after the moment that they just had.

When the woman came up to open the door, those peaks were waving enough to burst out.

Even if it were a person who has enough experience with women would be mesmerized and stutter at this point, much less Aaron who didn’t speak much with girls even in his class.

"Oh", the woman said and opened a path for him to enter.

Aaron couldn’t help but stare at those butt cheeks in front of her, which are attached to her skirt, showing their majesty.

Aaron quickly pulled away from the revere before the woman could spot his staring and stored his luggage on the upper deck above his seat, which was there for the luggage.

After that, he quickly took his seat by the window. The berths were arranged in a manner so that, both could enjoy the view through the window.

"Hello, my name is Samantha", the woman introduced herself with a smile.

"Hello, I am Aaron", he introduced himself to her.

"Where are going?" Samantha asked him.

"Dusk City. What about you?" Aaron asked her back.

"Same here. Returning home after a long time?" She asked, looking at his two bags.

Aaron saw what her eyes were looking at.

He shook his head, "No, this would be my first time there. I am going to the Dusk Academy and the year starts in a few days".

"Oh right, it’s that time again. It’s only like...wait...Do I know you?" She asked with a furrow on her face.

"No, I don’t think so", Aaron replied.

He would remember her if he had seen her before. At least he would remember those majestic peaks but it was his first time seeing those.

"No, wait I remember. Aren’t you that boy who was first in the entire alliance this year?" She asked remembering his face.

"I was just lucky to achieve that", Aaron tried to downplay his achievements.

Having fame is good but he is still weak. So, fame is not the best thing at this moment in his opinion.

"Don’t downplay yourself. Luck may be important but without your efforts, you couldn’t have reached the top rank of the entire alliance", Samantha spoke in a tone as if they were friends for ages.

At first, when she introduced herself, it was because she was bored and was making small talk with the possible passenger for the next few hours or days. After recognizing who the boy was, her tone became more friendly.

"Excuse me, I need to use the bathroom. I will return in a while", Samantha suddenly stood up and left the cabin.

    ---

Samantha went straight to the bathroom after she left the cabin.

"It looks like luck is smiling at me. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance that I can’t miss no matter what", Samantha muttered as she adjusted her makeup looking at the mirror.

She applied some makeup to her face to make herself more attractive. To be sure, she applied some lipstick as well.

She unbuttoned two of her shirt buttons, making sure that her breasts were now a bit more visible.

"I can’t miss this chance", she muttered as she left the bathroom, walking back to the cabin.
