Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent
Chapter 46
Chapter 46: Chapter 46Aaron fixed his wound with the help of the first-aid kit that was available in every cabin. This is a world that is full of dangers. So, as a rule, first-aid kits were available almost everywhere in important areas or in areas where immediate medical help wouldn’t be available.
After fixing his wound, he called the emergency response number.
"Hello, this is the train emergency. How may I help you?" a voice came from the other side.
"Hello, my name is Aaron. I am from...." Aaron described what had happened a few minutes before.
"Okay, sir. I would send some train guards your way", the person on the other side responded.
"Thank you", Aaron said as he ended the call.
After the call, he went out of his cabin to check on the attacker. After he lost consciousness, Aaron had left five of his skeletons and five ghosts that he had summoned to guard the attacker while he went away to fix his injury, which was leaking blood.
Though Aaron had no idea how strong the attacker was, he knew that to cause 100 HP loss to someone with as high attributes as him, the attacker should be pretty high ranker, or the dagger used should be pretty powerful.
So, if the attacker was a high ranker, they could recover faster and may escape or could even attack him once he wakes up.
Those were Aaron’s thoughts, and to be sure, he kept some distance between himself and the attacker. The gap was filled with skeletons and ghosts.
If the path was not so narrow, he would have summoned a few more skeletons.
While he was thinking how to better protect himself, a voice jolted him out of his thoughts.
"Aaron", a female voice called him.

Samantha, who had no idea about what was happening, came out of the bathroom with determination to make the best of the scene.
She had downgraded herself to a point of sucking someone’s cock. This was something she had never done in her life.
Pretty early in life, she came to know that all the men that she came into contact with only lusted after her body and not her actual self. This is why she was never in a relationship, not even with boys in her class.
Now, as she has no choice, she even downgraded herself, but what the boy did was near humiliation, which her prideful nature couldn’t accept.
What could she do about that?
What was done is done. It can’t be undone.
So, after calming down, she decided to secure something for what happened before or else everything that she suffered for would be useless. She couldn’t let that happen.
Tidying up, she left the bathroom and was walking towards her cabin.
Her eyes bulged at what she saw in the walkway. There are skeletons and ghosts blocking the path. Seeing them sent shivers down her spine, and then she saw a man lying unconscious.
"Did those skeletons kill someone?" She was horrified with that thought.
She almost screamed in terror when she saw the scene but stopped herself. The reason was, though the scene looked bad, she felt that was not the case.
If these skeletons and ghosts were bad, then they should have attacked her too, but they ignored her.
She was more confused than terrified, and that’s when she saw Aaron coming out of the cabin.
He appeared to be cautious, but that was not cautious of skeletons and the ghosts. No, it was against the man who was lying unconscious.
She was surprised, but then she remembered the boy’s profession, Death Mage. These are this summons. So, why would he be cautious against them? but what she couldn’t understand was why he was against that man lying there.
She could think of a reason, but that reason felt pretty bad. The only reason she could think of was that the man had attacked Aaron, but why? She has no idea.
"Aaron", she called out for him to get the answers. Instead of thinking about unnecessary things, it’s best to ask and know the answers.
Aaron heard her call and walked towards her.
"What’s happening? Why are your undead summons outside and who is that man lying there unconscious?" she directly asked him. There was no reason to beat around the bush.
Aaron then told her everything from the moment she left the cabin to the present, when she called out to him.
Samantha gasped in shock as Aaron dictated everything. She couldn’t believe that someone would do such a vile thing.
She is not naive enough to believe that there is no evil in society. She knew that as there is good, there is also bad, but she didn’t think that something like that would happen in her life.
The boy she tried to have sex with a few minutes before was attacked like that.
She thought for a while, and a name came to her mind regarding the attack, but she was not sure. So, she kept her silent, afraid that speaking may cause even more troubles.
She was not wrong in thinking so. The people she thought might be responsible for this attack were pretty dangerous, something that she knew pretty well and didn’t want to enter their list.
---
As they were discussing things, two guards appeared.
"Are you Aaron?" one of the guards asked him.
"Yes, I am the one who called, and that’s the man who attacked me".
Aaron told them what had happened, except that he skipped out the facts about why he was in the bathroom. It had nothing to do with the attack, at least, he thought that might be the case, especially since Samantha didn’t recognize the man.
So, unless required, there was no need to make private things public.
"We can take him into custody. There are some questions that we need to ask, but before that, can you unsummon your skeletons?" the guard reminded Aaron that his summons were still outside.
"Sorry, my bad", Aaron replied as he undid his summonings.
