Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent
Chapter 50
Chapter 50: Chapter 50Samantha thought for a while about Aaron’s demands and felt that he was in the right. The boy was inexperienced, a fact that she quickly deduced even though she only knew him for a few hours.
So, it should be known to her that he would act like that. What he did was based on his own instincts for sex, and there was nothing she could do about that. She shouldn’t have acted like that with him.
She kind of left him in a lurch and from that expereince, he wasn’t sure to continue what they were doing before, fearing that she might do something again.
"Okay, I agree", Samantha said.
Aaron nodded in relief.
For a minute, he believed that she would disagree and it would have been quite awkward for the rest of the journey.
Aaron quickly locked the door and lunged towards Samantha.
Knock!
Knock!
Something unexpected happened before Aaron could make a proper move. There was a knock on the door and that means they have a visitor.
Both of them adjusted their clothes to make sure nothing was out of order. After that, Aaron opened the door slowly and cautiously to see who it was.
He was just attacked. So, it was just in line with him being slow and cautious.
Where there was one assassin, there could be others, especially with what that rude guard officer slipped while demeaning Aaron.
At that moment, Aaron was too focused on the insults that the officer threw at him, but he had time to think clearly about what that officer said as he returned to his cabin.
He clearly remembers that the officer slipped up and said that the man belonged to a cult.
Aaron was not someone who didn’t know what was happening in the world. He knew about the cults that existed in this world.
There are many cults. Some pray to the monsters, some pray to mechanics, and some pray to what are defined as demons.
Whatever or whoever the cults pray to, they have a single goal: the enslavement of humanity.
These cults are not looking for the extermination of humanity. They want everyone to become the slaves of their gods in one way or another. Of course, though the final goal is the enslavement of humanity, that doesn’t mean they don’t kill humans.
Every year, a lot of people die because of them as they were targeted by the cult or as collateral. This is why many hate the cults, but at the same time, many were attracted due to the power that these cults promise.
There were rumors that the cults have ways to transfer talents from one person to another. Though it was not proven, many fear that it might be true and that they keep the details about their talents a secret, unless they are idiots or believe that their family can protect them.
Aaron heard about these rumors as well. It was a well-spread rumor, and as someone who possesses a talent that would be in demand even from the so-called Human Gods. So he decided, no he didn’t dare to reveal it as it would certainly end him and his family.
It’s a secret that he decided to take to grave with him. This was something he was not even going to share with his parents. It was not that he didn’t trust them. It was for their own safety.
There are skills and professions that has to do with the mind.
There is a profession called Mind Reader. They are usually weak in battle, but they are very useful for Interrogation purposes. So, they are hired by the alliance just to read the minds of the enemies that they have captured.
Not everyone would break under torture. So, instead of wasting their time, hiring a mind reader would make it easier to know the secrets of the captured criminal or enemies.
The only issue was that Mind Readers are rare. They are almost similar to Unique professions but with a few more available than unique professions where only one would have such a profession. sea??h thё ηovёlFire .net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

When Aaron opened the door, he saw a young boy who was dressed similar to that of a waiter in the restaurant.
From the appearance, the one who disturbed them didn’t look like an assassin, but truth be told, he had no idea how an assassin would look like in the first place.
The man who attacked him was dressed as other passengers. There was no difference at all. No one could differentiate him enough to spot him as an assassin among the crowd if they didn’t know who he was.
"Who are you?" Aaron asked the boy.
"Hello, Sir, I have come here to write down the lunch orders", the young boy replied.
Aaron slightly loosened his grip but didn’t drop his guard fully. There is a chance that an assassin could be impersonating the waiter.
"What are available?" Aaron asked the waiter, with his hand still holding tightly to the door.
If the waiter makes a move, he can shut the door to give himself some time to summon his skeletons and ghosts.
Luckily, the boy didn’t make any unnecessary moves. He just listed all the food items that were available for lunch.
After hearing the items, Aaron and Samantha, gave their own orders for lunch.
---
After the waiter left, both returned to their own berths.
The lunch would be supplied in half an hour at most. There was a separate kitchen to prepare food for the passengers of the cabin compartments. There are not many passengers, so that means the food would be here soon.
"We should wait until after lunch", Samantha said, to which Aaron nodded in agreement.
The waiter would soon return with their food, and when he does, that would mean that he would be disturbing them while they were doing, which would be quite annoying, something they wanted to skip.
It was already quite weird with how things were proceeding between them. They both didn’t want to make things weirder than they already were.
