Chapter 52: Chapter 52Two days went by without much happening.

    There was something happening between Aaron and Samantha in these three days, but that was just sex. Nothing else happened in these two days.

    Before they knew it, they neared their destination, and the sole reason why they decided to end the workout before noon, a few hours before they reach Dusk City. If they were too tired to get up after the workout, they might miss their target.

    A few hours later...

    [Next Station, Dusk City.]

    [The train stops for five minutes.]

    [Passengers who were supposed to deboard are advised to be ready.]

    The announcements came one by one.

    Aaron and Samantha looked at each other for a few seconds before they each sighed. It was time to go their own ways. When they would meet again, only time would tell.

    They packed up everything long ago. So, there was nothing to do but to wait for the train to arrive at the Dusk City Station.

    The air between them started to become weird.

    "Here, this is my contact", Samantha handed him her personal contact information.

    This was something she would never do with someone that she had met a few days ago, but things were not going as she would usually do things.

    She spent a lot of the train ride with a stranger, with both of them naked and exploring each other’s bodies. So, giving her personal contact info isn’t considered out of the norm.

    Aaron took out a notepad and wrote his number then handed that to Samantha.

    The announcement came.

    They both stood and came out of their cabin. When the train stopped, they deboarded easily as there were not too many people in the compartment to begin with.

    Though there are a few who deboarded and some boarded, there was plenty of room to easily get off without pushing each other much.

    Outside the station...

    "See you around", Samantha said as she started to walk away.

    "See you when I see you", Aaron said as he went on his way.

    After separating from Samantha, Aaron went and found a cab to the academy rather than a bus, though cab fares are pricier when compared to that of a bus.

    The train station is outside of the Dusk City and so is the Dusk Academy but they were on opposite sides. There are buses available that go through the city, which would take a long time.

    So, he took a cab, which, instead of going through the traffic-filled city, would take the outer roads to reach the academy faster.

    While in the cab, Aaron checked his status.

    There are not too many changes, but there are a few.

    INT and WIS improved by +45 points, while the other four improved by +30 points. In the three days that he spent on the train, he slowly improved his attributes at +10 per day for the four and +15 for INT and WIS.

    He was not just having sex all this time. He was also slowly using the time to improve his attributes, making sure that the improvement wouldn’t make him lose control over his body.

    With the improvement in attributes, the FSPs that he had dropped down to 322 after improving his attributes.

    The attributes were not the only thing that improved. Aaron improved his newest skill, [Summon Ghost].

    Just like with skeleton skill, this too wouldn’t be easy to upgrade. Moreover, with the increase in the number of ghosts he can summon, his attacking power would reach a new level.

    Most people would have defences against physical attacks, but when it comes to mind attacks or soul attacks, they don’t.

    There were mainly two reasons behind that.

    First, defences that protect one from mind and soul attacks are rare, and it would cost a lot to get them. Even if there is money, no one would be foolish to let go of such a treasure easily. They would rather use it or save it for their descendants.

    Unless the situation that they are in forces them to sell it, no one would sell such defensive skills.

    Second, people having mind or soul attack skills are very few. The chances of coming across them are very thin. Many can’t afford to splurge on unnecessary things.

    Instead of buying these fancy defences, it’s best to buy some self-regeneration skills that can heal wounds passively or magic-resistant skills. These are useful in many situations.

    So, most people would decide it’s not worth the exchange.

    This is why Aaron decided to upgrade his skill rank to Rank-3 from Rank-0. Not many would expect that he would have such a way to dispose of his enemies.

    Just like with [Summon Skeleton], the number of ghosts that he can summon and store increased from 5 to 20.

    Of course, though he increased the rank, he didn’t summon new ghosts. He was in the company of a girl who had granted him the wish of losing his virginity.

    Aaron took out the card that Samantha had given him. He didn’t take a good look at that. He knew that it was her contact info, and that was it. He didn’t even look at the number.

    "Samantha Raver", Aaron read the name on the card.

    This was the first time he knew about her full name. More than two days of sex, but the name never came up. Only now did he come to know her name, while she knew his name beforehand.

    She recognized his name as his face, and his name was pasted all over the news as the alliance topper. She could easily search for his name in seconds even if she had forgotten his name. For him, though, there was no such source.

    Aaron smiled as he thought about her, "Hope we would meet again".
