    SPs can’t be looted, as they are not materialistic, but these stones are. So, they can be robbed and looted. By declaring their availability, it would be like inviting disaster.

    So, information is restricted, but since family members are supposed to watch each other’s backs, information passing among family is not that restricted.

    There are occasions where family members stab each other for resources, but that’s not to the point where they kill each other easily. It would be considered very rare.
