Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent
Chapter 82
Chapter 82: Chapter 82Capital Academy, City of Valora
Mary has finally had some room to breathe. From the day of her awakening, she was constantly grinding under the protection of one guardian or another.
As an awakener of SS-Rank class, she knew why the alliance was pressuring her to reach higher ranks. Though to them, it would be an extra hand, she herself would be safe from the dangers of this world.
Also, there are her parents, who have only reached Rank-3, which is already a great thing for life professionals. Unlike combat professionals who can achieve higher ranks in a short time, not many life professionals would improve like that.
So, no matter what, they can’t protect themselves if someone powerful wants to harm them. At this moment, the alliance is bearing the cost, but she has to bear the cost once she reaches Rank-4.
In a way, as long as she doesn’t reach Rank-4, the alliance would protect her parents. It appears as a loophole, but it is not.
If they see that she is dragging, they may pull out the protection. So, the cons of such an approach are higher than the pros, which are almost absent.
If she does that, not only would she lose the alliance’s protection, but she would be giving the bad guys chances to strike at her family.
So, it would be in her best interest that she works hard and reaches Rank-4 as soon as possible. With a human god as her master, she wouldn’t lack resources to reach a higher rank, which would make that easier to hire protection for her parents.
Even she would become a deterrent if she could reach Rank-7.
So, instead of having any funny ideas, she diligently worked and reached Rank-2 a few days ago. Within the first month, she was able to reach Rank-1, but who knows that after increasing the rank, the EXP needed to increase level would increase exponentially.
It made it hard for her to level up after that point, but still, she is an SS-Rank awakener, with an A-rank talent. So she was able to achieve something that no one had ever achieved such a thing.
Of course, there was a lot of help from her master, and the rest today was because her master said so. Her master wanted a powerful awakener, not a burnt-out one. So she advised that work and rest have to be done in a proper way. sea??h thё n?velFire.net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Reclining on the chair, she turned on the TV to see the news. In these last few days, she was always running here and there. No rest at all, much less watch TV. She missed out on many things that happened in the past few weeks, but she was stronger than anyone in her current generation.
In a few weeks, she was sure that she would even cross her seniors in that aspect. She was sure of that.
"It has been a while since I checked my status properly", Mary muttered as she opened her status panel.
When she opened the panel, she saw a blinking signal at the corner of the panel, indicating that there were unopened notifications from the system.
She was confused by that but opened them nonetheless to see what it was about. She couldn’t remember doing anything significant after reaching Rank-2.
So, the confusion on her face.

[You are the 99th person to reach the Uncommon grade on this planet.]
[@&$% has started to upgrade the planet’s level.]
[As one of the hundred who was the reason behind this upgrade of the planet, you were being rewarded.]
[Do you accept the rewards?]
[Yes/No]
--
Mary saw the same notifications as Aaron, but with a small change. She was the 99th to reach Uncommon Grade. Except for that, everything else remained the same.
The reason why she was able to reach the Uncommon grade was due to the help from her master. She learned that there are grades, which give a percentage attribute bonus when improved, but that was not an easy thing.
Her master was Elite grade, which was just above Uncommon, but took a long time to achieve. The one above that, even the oldest human god, was nowhere near achieving that. So, her master rejected the notion of telling Mary the grades above the Elite grade.
"You would know when you reach Elite grade", that was the answer Mary got from her master, but there was nothing she could do about that.
She could only wait for a few decades before knowing the answer, as she lacked both SPs and Skill Point Stones to achieve Elite grade.
By Rank-2, achieving the Uncommon grade is not possible, as no one would concentrate purely on one skill, making the number of SPs insufficient to make the skill reach the Bronze Realm.
Mary had a human god as her master, and she provided enough Skill Point stones for her to achieve that. Now, whatever she could achieve would only depend on Mary herself.
---
When Mary saw the notifications, she was surprised by the notification about the Uncommon grade that she had achieved a few days ago, with the help of her master.
There was even a mention of someone or something about upgrading the planet. What that means, she doesn’t have the permission to know about that. This was something her master mentioned in one of her teachings.
She was soon drawn by the rewards part of the notifications. She felt lucky that her master gave her those stones, or else some old foggy might have been the one to receive those rewards instead of her.
She didn’t think that someone from the young generation could have achieved the Uncommon grade after her, unless they too had some powerful master and knew about the skills.
The chances of someone from her generation or someone who is a few years older than her reaching that realm, are very low.
So, she thought it might be some old person or at least someone who is a few years older than her who reached the Bronze realm as the 100th person. Never in a million years would she have thought that the 100th one was someone she knew from school. No one would.
She pushed away those thoughts, as they were not useful for and concentrated on accepting those rewards.
As soon as she accepted the rewards, new notifications appeared.
[Rewards are being distributed.]
[The awakener was put to sleep to reduce the pain that he would experience during the integration.]
"Huh? What does that..."
Before Mary could think about it, she lost consciousness and fell asleep on the recliner.
