Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent
Chapter 85
Chapter 85: Chapter 85Six Days Later...
Aaron returned to his daily life. Just because he reached Rank-2 or became an Uncommon Grade awakener or because he received those quality rewards, he didn’t get arrogant.
For a minute, when he checked them, the feeling of superiority had crept in, but he squashed that away.
In this world, the five human gods were at the pinnacle, but they don’t get themselves involve much in the affairs of the world, unless required. Most of the time, that burden falls on the demigods of the world.
These are awakeners who have reached the stage that was a step below the god stage. There are a lot of them present in the world. Below them are many other powerhouses.
When compared to them, he can be said to have the potential to cross them, but potential is not power until it is fully converted. So, he should only concentrate on working hard, instead of showing off to others, which could attract calamity.

A lot of improvements have occurred on Aaron’s status panel in the span of six days.

[A/N: Sorry I forgot about giving a new skill at Rank 2, which I corrected at Ch. 77 and Chapters afterwards.]

As a Rank-2 Death Mage, he should get +20 FSPs and +8 SPs for every level up. Normally, with his old talent, that would become +200 FSPs and +80 SPs, but with the upgraded talent, those numbers rose to +2000 FSPs and +800 SPs per level.
With this new upgrade, he would no longer lack SPs to improve his skills. He doesn’t need to be acutious when using them, and he could reach Elite Grade faster than anticipated.
This new talent with 100x EXP made it easy for him to reach level 62 from 51 in six days. It is an increase of 11 levels, which would be almost impossible for anyone to achieve at this point.
He gained a total of +22,000 FSPs and +8,800 SPs. This was the highest he had ever earned from the start, and he knew that the rate of those numbers would only grow to a number that he would have difficulty to spend them all.
While everyone else would be scrambling on how to save them and use them properly, he would be doing the opposite. He would be racking his brain on how to use them all.
For the last six days, Aaron decided to concentrate on his mental attributes more than on his physical attributes.
He increased them normally, but the training in the evening was solely for the mental attributes. As a spell caster, the difference between physical and mental attributes should be very high, with mental attributes leading.
So, in these six days, he added +20 each day to those physical attributes, while it was +45 for the mental attributes each day.
Even through this way, a little over a thousand FSPs were spent, while he earned 22,000 FSPs in these six days.
There are more than enough to help him survive for twenty days without going to level up. This was something that he picked up from the start, but he didn’t change his routine, as there is much more to achieve than he did at this point.
Coming to the Skill section, the SPs that he gained in these six days were almost nine thousand, but he didn’t use much of them, leaving a big chunk behind. Unlike FSPs, he could have used all SPs, but he didn’t.
He only used them on three skills.
The three skills are Summon Ghosts, Mana Regeneration and Death Gaze, which he directly upgraded to Bronze Rank 1.
The improvement in Summon Ghosts is similar to Summon Skeletons. The number of ghosts that he can summon increased to 150.
Mana Regeneration increased by +10% from Rank 1 to Rank 3. With already at 10% value at Rank 0, making that 40%.
The value increased by +20% from Rank 4 to Rank 6. A total of 60% increase, making it a 100% increase in Mana Regeneration at Rank 6.
The value increased by +40% from Rank 7 to Rank 9, which is a total of 120%, which made Mana Regeneration reach 220%
When Aaron increased that rank to Bronze Realm Rank 1, there was a +80% ,making the Mana Regeneration reach 300%.
It means his mana would regenerate 3 times faster than usual. With his INT value so high, he would almost never be out of mana.
The third skill, Death Gaze’s stun time increased to 1 min, and in addition to that, when used on opponents of lower ranks, it can induce nightmares. These are not possible if the opponent has a higher INT than Aaron.
All three skills were at Rank 3, and to improve them to Bronze Rank 1, he needed 1,170 for each to achieve such, making it a total of 3,510. Sear?h the novёlF~ire.net website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
There are over 5000 SPs still on his panel, but he didn’t use them. There are two reasons behind that.
First, to reach from Rank 9 to Bronze Rank 1, he needs 500, and that number would grow up like as he climbs up.
Though the system didn’t give all the details, one can see that there is a grade above Elite Grade. One of the conditions to reach Elite Grade is to upgrade a skill to Silver Realm, then what about the grade above Elite? It should require a skill to reach a realm above Silver.
Whether there are more above that, he doesn’t know at this point. Aaron has a feeling that though he was getting a lot of SPs, as time goes on, that number would fall back to single digits sooner rather than later.
Also, with his improved talent perk, the skill rank increases 100 times faster, which makes it possible for three skills to increase their ranks. Of course, the increase was because of the accumulation of many days of training before this new perk showed up, but still, it made it easy for Aaron to improve skills faster, without burning out SPs unnecessarily.
So, that’s what he decided to do.
---
In the past month, Aaron prepared well enough for what’s going to happen the next morning, the fresher tournament. It was important for all, as the one who gains access to resources first would have a higher chance to improve faster and win again in other tournaments.
So, no one wants to miss out on this one.
