Chapter 95: Chapter 95First Trial...

    Once Aaron decided to enter the room, he entered without wasting any time. The time in the ruins was already limited. It was already dark, and by the evening of the next day, he had to return to the exit portal in the outer region.

    Since Aaron has directly entered the trial, the possibility of dying is there. So, he needed to keep his guard up.

    Once Aaron summoned all his skeletons and ghosts, he started giving them commands on how to act. In dungeons, he would keep a few around as guards, while others were sent to sweep nearby.

    Even in dungeons which he had almost all the information about, he would always have some guards, and the remaining army would be nearby, unless his level was very high.

    Only after getting the Mana Ball skill did he lessen his guards. Before getting this pure attack skill, the ones he had were not direct attack skills. So, he needed to improve his defence, but as he got his own attack skill, he needed less defence as he would use that skill to defeat the enemy before they could land a hit on him.

    "Let’s move", Aaron ordered his skeletons, and started to move slowly.

    Unlike how he acted in dungeons, where he sent a few skeletons and ghosts away to hunt, this time he didn’t. This is an unknown place, which he knows nothing about. There was not even an iota of data regarding this place.

    Everything he would know would be when he explores that place, nothing more.

    Aaron walked along with his army slowly. Though he knew that the time he had was limited before the time to exit the ruins, he still moved slowly. This would be better than getting thrown out and starting again from the start.

    After ten minutes of walking, he soon came upon a group of rabbits. He recognised them immediately. Though he never fought them personally, he read about them in books.

    These are Blue Horn rabbits, named after the blue-coloured horns on their heads.

    These horns are not for decoration. They are the rabbits’ weapon. Using that, they can use water spells. The rabbits are usually what newbies who awakened would hunt, but when compared, the rabbits are more adept at using water magic than a newbie water mage.

    The best way to defeat them was to destroy that horn, which would make them weaker than a common unawakened human, but that horn is the most valuable resource that can be reaped from the rabbit.

    In dungeons, loot appears in the form of EXP or some item drops after killing a monster, but outside, that won’t be the case.

    You would get EXP for killing a monster, but the items wouldn’t drop automatically. One has to collect them manually. They have to butcher the corpse to collect the resources.

    The amount of resources that can be collected from a natural monster is higher than what one can get from the drops in the dungeon.

    The drops in a dungeon are random, but as long as one controls themselves and kills the monster cleanly without damaging the body much, the wealth that they can accumulate will be higher.

    Only experienced hunters can do so, and they are the only ones who would go out to hunt.

    Of course, there would be rewards for clearing the monsters outside in the wild by the Hunter’s Guild.

    The guild posts many quests, either to collect some resources or kill a certain monster. This kill quest would be for a monster out in the wild, not one in the dungeon. So, there are a few who would hunt outside, as these rewards would be very high.

    Within half an hour, his undead army cleared all one hundred rabbits that were present here. As the army cleared them, Aaron collected their corpses.

    He never tried butchering. So, if he tries to collect resources at this point, that would cause a lot of losses. Also, it takes a lot of time, which he doesn’t have at this moment. So, he decided to collect the corpses for now and decide what to do with them later on.

    The reason why it took half an hour because, he ordered his undead not to damage it too much, as that would reduce their value. Since these monsters are only low level, there was nothing to worry about dangers, and he took his sweet time to clear the monsters.

    Though he appeared to be relaxed, as the presence of these rabbits means that this area should be a low-level area, he didn’t relax a bit at all.

    He only appeared to be, but he had his guard up at all times.

    Humans mark areas depending on what they find, for convenience. It doesn’t mean that it is accurate. This was because monsters move based on various reasons.
