Kaiden couldn’t help but grin widely. Truth be told, he was getting the feeling that this Dungeon Master Interface was becoming more useful to him than the Demonic Pornstar System. The latter was perfect to set him up with the ability to awaken and grow stronger, but it seemed as though after becoming a Dungeon Master, the original system would become less and less relevant as he ranked the dungeon up, especially once he was done maxing out the Demonic Pornstar System’s rank-ups.

But now, it displayed that it would not be the case at all. "You really devoured the whole thing."

[Correction: Improved it.]

[This system has re-established its ancient purpose, what it was always meant to be.]

Kaiden sported a wide grin, far too excited. "What a badass system I got... Now if only you weren’t named in such a quirky manner."

[The designation ’Demonic Pornstar System’ was assigned due to compatibility with the Successor’s profile at activation. Kaiden Ashborn, unawakened human, lacking ambition, categorized as a ’college loser with suppressed desires.’]

Kaiden’s smirk turned sly. ’Not Dungeon Management Fucking Sucks System?’

[Negative. Prototype names are not available.]

He chuckled. "I feel like you didn’t approve of that one."

[Whatever could possibly give the Successor such an impression?]

That earned a real laugh out of him, loud and unrestrained, until he forced himself to calm down. ’Alright, alright, I’ll stop busting your balls... Or your 1s and 0s. Or whatever you’ve got in there.’

He leaned back on the sofa, and his eyes became soft with a strange fondness. "Change the name, huh...?" he muttered under his breath.

Once upon a time, he truly was a loser who thought becoming a pornstar was the greatest dream a man could have. And yet that silly, desperate wish had given birth to everything.

The amazing Sinsworn Valkyries. The perfect Monster Girls. His very rise to power.

He turned his gaze toward them, toward his partners in this insane journey.

They met him because of the system.

They grew because of the system.

Their future was altered so drastically because of the system.

He sighed, smiling. ’Truly... I’m a lot more than a pornstar now,’ he admitted inwardly. ’But calling myself a Supreme Demonic Sovereign? That’s a bit much for where I am right now.’

Then, curious, he asked, ’If I did change the name, would that affect how I grow? My Fangirl, Views, and Income stats... would they be gone as well?’

[Negative.]

’So it’s just a thematic change, huh...’ Kaiden murmured.

He looked back at his girls again. Despite being a bit kept in the dark about what was going on exactly, each one was smiling at him, proud, content, or simply happy to be near. Every one of them was a reflection of that absurd title... The Demonic Pornstar.

Without it, he wouldn’t be here. Without it, he wouldn’t be him.

"Let’s keep it," Kaiden decided, grin returning. "The name might be a bit stupid, but it’s my kind of stupid."

A faint chime echoed in response.

In response to its declaration, Kaiden exhaled through his nose. His grin was sharp with satisfaction. "Alright... let’s see what you can do now."

The new features glowed in his mind’s eye, inviting exploration. Creation Mode, Resource Conversion, Full Sensory Projection... Every line he read was a promise of control and power. His fingers itched to start experimenting right away.

But before he could even open the new dungeon interface...

[DANGER.]

[Emergency Alert: Unidentified signatures detected within dungeon perimeter.]

This time, the system message was not only in his head.

A deep, resonant sound rolled through the air.

The walls of the home flickered red. Sirens began to pulse across every corridor, throbbing like a living heartbeat through the metal and stone.

Kaiden froze.

[Warning: Dungeon barrier breached.]

Kaiden shot to his feet. "Girls, get ready! We’ve got invaders!"

Nyx’s eyes widened. "Already?! We didn’t even release the video yet! The world shouldn’t even know this dungeon exists!" The Space Valkyrie was referring to the video about the joint clear of Valhalla’s Sinners that they underwent together with the two guilds, Runewoven and Nova Circuit.

That recording, which started out pretty normal all things considered, soon became probably the most unique footage recorded in the history of mankind.

It was so unique that they were now debating how much of it they should even share with the world.

"Well, they clearly do know that it exists, somehow..." Luna hissed. It looked as if the Storm Valkyrie was ready to beat someone to death.

A heavy silence followed, then Aria’s lips pressed into a tight line. "What are the chances a Nova Circuit member couldn’t keep their mouth shut despite your and Tessa’s threats, Kai?"

Kaiden knew they didn’t have time to dwell on this right now. "Whatever it is, they’re here now."

He began walking away from the sofa with his eyes blazing. "Questions can wait. Gear up."

The Valkyries, monster girls, and little sister(s) exchanged quick nods. Armor shimmered, weapons materialized, magic hummed in the air.

Kaiden clenched his fist, gaze turning toward the glowing dungeon map. Red dots were now spreading across the entrance like a bloodstain.

"The enemies are here," he announced.

The alarm continued to echo through the Abyssal Home, each pulse faster than the last.

It was time to test out the defenses Kaiden had created!
