CHAPTER 60: TOO MUCH SUGAR

Chapter Sixty

Oliver West

The ride to the high-end shopping district was pure torture. Kieran kept glancing at me with that infuriating smirk while I sat as far away from him as possible, which wasn’t very far considering his car seemed designed for intimacy rather than personal space.

After leaving Vince’s apartment, I had tried to message William. Firstly, I wanted to know if he got home safe. But the most important thing was that I couldn’t wait to tell him what I’d discovered about Vince; the gist was practically burning in my throat. I was even tempted to ask Kieran about Heath and Claude, but that would be too nosy.

I guess William and I would have to analyze and investigate this new plot twist by ourselves.

William would totally freak out to know that Vince had a boyfriend!

I glanced at the screen of my old mobile, he hadn’t texted back, nor responded to my missed calls.

Weird.

Totally unlike William.

Was he safe? That had been his cousin’s party, surely, nothing bad could have happened to him, right?

A frown etched on my face as I attempted to call him again only for the device to be snatched from my hand.

"I thought I blocked his number!" Kieran mumbled, glaring at the phone screen.

"Watch the road, you’re going to crash both of us!" I shrieked back at him. It was also the first word I’d spoken to him since leaving that bathroom with my dignity buried six feet below.

"He won’t answer you," Kieran clicked his tongue and I narrowed my gaze at him suspiciously.

"How do you know that? You didn’t do anything to him, right? Listen, if you hurt him..."

"I don’t need to do that anymore, he’s no longer a threat,"

I found myself relaxing against my seat. Why did Kieran suddenly change his mind about William? Was it just me or he wasn’t even cursing William out as usual?

Maybe it was because of my silly confession that he was secured now?

What was I thinking? Why would I need him to be secure? Liking and having a crush on him and actually considering Kieran as a partner were two different things.

I simply wanted to watch him from afar without him complicating my life.

"So, what do you want to get first?" he continued casually, like he didn’t just pocket my phone in his breast pocket, why was he so strict? My mom finally had a competition for the medal.

I wasn’t sure how she was going to react knowing a teenager had triumphed over her. Or maybe they would both team up in their wicked ways to fully drive me crazy.

Was Kieran this strict with other people he’d dated or was it just me? Maybe I was such an easy victim or it was because I just didn’t know how to attack him back. He was too untouchable.

Kieran had showered too, now he was dressed in a simple black T-shirt that stretched out his muscles and jeans, his hair was still a bit damp, the strands falling over his forehead, giving him that breathtaking sexy allure. If his personality weren’t so shitty, he’d probably win the Man of the World award.

I lowered my gaze instantly when he lifted a brow and smirked. "You didn’t answer my question, Ollie."

"I d-don’t want anything," Thankfully, he didn’t tease me about staring at him.

"We should go to the clothing area first, so we can get you that underwear you were whining about."

I nearly choked on my own spit. "I never said I wanted—"

Before I could finish, his hand shot out and grabbed me right between my legs. Kieran squeezed and I made a sound that was part squeak, and half-scream.

"What are you doing?!!!" My yell could shatter glass if I had superpowers.

My manhood was at stake and Kieran didn’t even flinch.

"Just wanted to be fully certain of the size," he said with mock seriousness, like he was a tailor taking professional measurements, he fisted me through my pants... his pants, touching longer than necessary and then his thumb brushed over the tip.

"Kieran!!!!!" I screeched, nearly jumping out the window. This evil bastard.

The moment the car stopped, I practically launched myself out of it, my face burning hotter than a supernova. My mind raced with murderous thoughts as I stood on the sidewalk. If my dignity was buried six feet under, now someone had just tossed it in hell.

What the heck was that?? To think I still feel a tingling sensation down there right now. I fought the urge to adjust my pants, knowing he was watching me too closely.

"Let’s go, Ollie," Kieran said with that same casual indifference.

He wants to treat me like some sugar baby? Fine. I’ll bleed his pockets dry until he’s begging for mercy! He’ll regret ever underestimating Oliver West!

I turned to face him with the sweetest smile I could muster. "Since I’m here, can I get anything?"

Kieran pulled out a black credit card. His smile was provocative. "Yes, I love to spoil my pet."

The way he said ’pet’ made something cold travel down my spine. My smile felt frozen on my face as he reached over and ran his fingers through my hair, like he was petting an actual puppy.

"Good boy," he murmured, and I had to fight not to bite the hand.

This was it. No more mercy!

The moment we entered the store, I went into full destruction mode. I grabbed armfuls of designer clothes without even looking at the price tags. The sales associates’ eyes lit up like I was their personal Christmas miracle.

"I’ll take this, this, and... oh, all of these," I said, pointing at an entire rack of jackets.

I expected Kieran to flinch, maybe suggest we slow down. Instead, he stepped closer, his hand settling possessively on my lower back.

"Whatever makes you happy," he said, but his eyes never left my face, studying my every reaction like I was a fascinating puzzle he was determined to solve.

Fine. Phase two!!!
