CHAPTER 123: FINALS.

P.O.V - Diana.

The arena gets noisy as everyone murmurs amongst themselves.

Some medics come to take Dang Lu off the arena stage.

After a few cleaning the tournament continues.

But the mood is not the same anymore.

It was my turn to step up.

I was up against a promising talent who had joined the Clan two years ago.

He was around 6 feet tall or so.

His hair black and his body well fit.

I think he was around 23 or so years old.

He is in the Early stage of the Late Peak Realm.

I was expecting a good fight, of course I was gonna go easy on him but he doesn’t even fight.

He surrenders as soon as he gets on stage.

’What the fuck dude?’ I think to myself.

Was it because of what Dang Hyuk did?

Fuck! That boy is ruining my fun...

What the hell? Because you see someone else got beat up badly you then begin to cower?

I’m fucking annoyed.

"You!" Diana calls out to her supposed opponent with her dagger pointed at him.

" You have good talent, you look quite strong and you surrender without even facing your opponent?

Are you that cowardly or is that how low your will is.

I hate cowards the most, they disgust me.

In a battle they are the ones who bring the Moral of the people down, they are the ones who always foil up our plans.

If any of you here is just gonna surrender like this then fuck off now!!!

What this Clan is aiming to achieve is not something for the faint in heart!

Chickens are not welcomed in this new Tang Clan!" She scolds as she gets off the stage and walk to her seat.

The arena went silent for a while as everyone seemed to be thinking of what she had just said.

*Cling* The sound of metal hitting the ground resounds through the silence.

It came from the stage.

Diana’s supposed opponent had dropped his sword and went on his knees.

"I...I have committed a great sin, I have brought shame to the Tang Name, please forgive me Patriarch and Elders." The guy says with a bow and then he raises his head up and looks at Diana.

He rises to his feet and with a head bow he says;

"Miss Diana, I am sorry for my disgraceful character, I ask that you please give me one more chance."

Diana sits staring at him for a while and then slowly begins to rise to her feet.

"One thing I like is a man who understands his wrong and tries to make up for it.

What was your name again?" Diana asks.

"Dang Juro" He replies.

"I accept, but I won’t go as easy on you as I had planned earlier." Diana says.

"I would appreciate that." He replies.

He picks up his sword and the referee after asking if they were both ready signals for them to begin.

The fight begins and after four minutes it comes to an end with Diana’s victory.

Her opponent laid panting heavily on the ground.

"Th...Thanks for not scarring me." Dang Juro says from the ground.

"Well, you have a cute face, wouldn’t want to ruin that." Diana replies as she offers to help him up.

"Thank you." He replies as he refuses her hand and gets up to his feet.

During the fight Diana mostly used her arms, legs and hilt and handle of her dagger to attack.

She intentionally didn’t use the blade of her dagger.

He was strong.

At a point he made her actually panick for a second during the fight, but of course, the weak cannot overcome overwhelming strength.

Ohh wait not that he was weak, Diana was just too strong it made him seem weak.

The fight ends and the two step off the stage.

The next set gets up and the tournament proceeds.

Eventually in the semi finals Dang Hyuk was against Dang Soha.

"Can’t I just surrender and go back home?" Dang Hyuk says in a low tone.

"Try it! I dare you!" Dang Soha replied.

It was poker against poker.

No expression vs No expression.

Well, the fight began but after a few exchanges Dang Hyuk rasies his hand admits defeat.

"Sorry sister, but I do not really see the point in continuing this." Dang Hyuk says and tries to leave the stage.

Dang Soha stops him by the shoulder for a moment.

"You and I, let’s have a talk after this." She says with a cold and low voice.

After she says this, for a moment, for just a brief moment, for the first time in years, Dang Hyuk showed a panick expression at the words of Dang Soha.

Dang Soha walks off the stage and so did Dang Hyuk after the referee announced the winner.

Diana beats her opponent and advances to face Dang Soha in the final.

The final was to hold the next day and when that time came, the number of viewers were triple that of the previous days.

People’s flocked to watch this fight.

There were barely any seat for the people to seat.

Some stood and some climbed into roof tops to watch.

People were calling it the legendary fight between...

’The First True Hope of The Dang Clan Vs The Newly Lit Zeal of The Dang Clan’

It wasn’t a match that should have carrieduch meaning.

But for the people of this Clan who have had their Faith brought alive by this two beings...

To be able to view a contest of strength between this two... They would be hurt if they missed this.

The Arena was filled up, some sitting and some standing.

There were countless people sitting and standing on rooftops around the arena.

For this fight the spectators were placed farther from usual from the stage.

This fight could turn... Catastrophic, The Patriach and Elders knew that so they took precautions for the safety of the spectators.

Aside from moving the spectators further, a shield was placed around the stage Which was being maintained by the First and Second Elder.

"All this just for a simple fight?" One of the viewers says.

"Hey, if you wanna die you can maybe move your seat and sit right next to the arena." Another replies.

Everyone was present.

The Patriarch, all the Elders, Dang Hyuk, Dang Woo, The Clan Mistress, The pill hall Master, The Finance Manager, The Head of The Disciplinary Division and The acting Chief Guard of the Dang Clan.

The Pill Hall Master was the referee.

"We have all come here to witness a legendary battle so without waiting much of your time let us get right to it.

Alright then, our two contenders, come on stage." The Referee says.

Dang Soha and Dang Diana both walk onto the stage from opposite sides of the ring.

The crowd goes crazy screaming as the two walk on.

"Didnt think this would turn out to be such a a big deal.

Id have stopped at the Semi finals if I knew it was gonna end up like this." Diana says as she looks around.

"Yh this crowd is crazy." Dang Soha replies bluntly.

"Well, are you ready?" Diana asks.

Dang Soha scoffs.

"Yh, I am." She replies.

"What does that mean?" Diana asks.

"Nothing much just thinking how funny it is that you are asking me if I’m ready." Dang Soha replies as she laughs a bit.

"Uggghh, You better not go easy on me, cause I’m going all out." Diana says as she pulls out two daggers.

"Dont worry, I have no plans of going easy on you." Dang Soha says as she pulls out a dagger in her right hand.

"Good." Diana replies and her hair begins to turn red.

"Ohhh, you are serious." Dang Soha says.

"Of course, this is my chance to make you fight me with everything you have." Diana replies.

Dang Soha gives a smirk as she says;

"Alright then, Come at me."

"Gladly." Diana replies and dashes at Dang Soha at immense speed.

At first we could see them moving and striking at each other but then we could only see a Black trace clashing against a Red trace but soon even that faded away as the only thing that could be seen were sparks from their weapons chasing.

They were just sparks but soon, with every clash a strong wave was emitted which makes the barrier resounds.

The fight continues.

Diana was the main one on the offensive while Dang Soha mostly dodged and blocked.

She countered sometimes but Diana made sure to evade those.

"C’mon Rohli, more." Diana says as she backs away for a moment.

Dang Soha smirks and suddenly she was behind Diana.

Diana remains calm and tries to block the attack from Dang Soha.

Dang Soha strikes hard and Diana blocks with her arms enveloped in Ki.

The strike from Dang Soha sends Diana crashing hard into the barrier.

At impact the barrier cracks a bit.
