Devastating The Murim with My Little Sister
Chapter 60: Meeting The Young Master.
CHAPTER 60: MEETING THE YOUNG MASTER.
T.P.P
The guide opens the doors revealing a well illuminated and spacious room.
A fine music was being played in the background.
Right across the door was a chubby young man around the age of twenty five with yellowish hair, sitting and being massaged and fed be ladies.
Not too far from him were four guards, all being in the Early Peak Realm.
There were four pairs of chairs lined across the room each pair facing each other.
Dancing around were women almost naked, having a little cloth wrapped around their waist.
The covering was very short but long enough to barely cover their private part.
They wore transparent veils on their shoulders, revealing their breasts underneath.
Most of them dancing were young girls between ages eighteen to twenty two while the ones around the man were more mature between the age of twenty five to thirty.
As the Dang Patriach and The Second Elder walk in, he offers for them to take their seats.
P.O.V - Dang Woon.
We entered the room and The Young Master, Hwang Lor offers that we take our seats.
We sit down and after a while he snaps his fingers signalling for the music to stop.
The ladies dancing began to leave the room.
The ones feeding and massaging him remained.
"So, what is it that has brought the Great Dang Clan’s Patriarch to this humble branch of mine?" He asks.
Of course he is going to act as if he doesn’t know.
"We have come here concerning a very important matter which we believe you are well informed about." I say to him.
"Ohh? what could this very important matter be about?" He asks feigning ignorance.
"It is about your second younger brother, the Third Young Master of the Golden Manor, Hwang Bo." I say.
As I say this his expression suddenly turns dark.
He raises his hand, signalling for the ladies around him to stop.
They stopped and silently left the room.
His guards drew nearer to him after the ladies left.
"So? what about that fat rat of a brother?" He says forcing a smile up his face.
"Well as you would know, he is dead." I state.
"Ohh, you really don’t sugar coat anything Patriach of the Dang Clan." He says.
"I prefer to be plain and direct." I reply.
"Ok then, I’m listening, so I heard he died at your Clan, what is your explanation for that?" He questions.
"Sincerely? He angered the Dang Clan and he paid the price." I tell him straight up.
Dang Shoo looks at me surprised.
We had planned to tell him about it being an accident from poison experiment, so he would be shocked that I went ahead and told him the truth.
The mole within the Clan must have already made him aware of how his younger brother died so there would be no point in lieing here.
"Wow, you really are straight forward." Hwang Lor says.
"Fine, you claim he angered your Clan and he paid the price, but he is still my younger brother, you do not expect that I just do nothing right?" He says to me.
What fake affection, if anything he is probably happy he now has one more person off the competition for his race to the Manor Master Position.
He would also be happy to use this as a way to gain more Merit.
Hmmm? who is that? there’s someone at the edge, he looks like an assassin clad in all black trying to hide his presence.
Maybe he was hired by the Young Master.
I should focus on this for now.
"Of course not, he is a precious brother of yours, we have only come to try and ease your anger." I reply to him.
"Oh? and how do you plan to do that?" He asks.
"I would like to ask for your permission to bring in what we have prepared." I say to him.
"Permission granted." He replies.
"Bring them in!" Dang Shoo yells out.
The guards bring in two different medium sized chests, the height about the level of the legs of the chairs we sat on.
"So, what do you have here?" He asks.
"Well, in one chest, we have about two hundred thousand Gold Coins, and five hundred thousand Silver coins." I say as one of the guards opens the chest revealing the coins inside.
As the chest opens Hwang Lor began to laugh out loud.
"Are you really proposing money to me? do I look like I lack money? Patriarch of the Dang Clan?" He questions, his tone hinting at annoyance.
"Of course not, as the First Young Master of the Golden Manor Merchant group, the one thing you can never lack is money.
But as a merchant, money is also of inestimable value I believe.". I say to him.
"Hmmmm, that is correct, but you don’t really believe this would be enough right?" He says.
"Of course not, in the other chest, we have rare herbs and valuable pills which you could decide on how you want to use them." I say as another guards opens the second chest revealing lots of her and little boxes of pills.
Seeing the herbs I could see surprise on his face.
Well of course he would be surprised, this are all very rare herbs.
"Hmmmm, now this is a little convincing." He says as he strokes his chin.
"Well, after all, a man has to pay a price for his sins right? If he angered the Dang Clan then he ought to be punished, I can’t blame you now can I?" He says with a cunning smile.
This scum of a person, he just flipped his attitude towards his brothers death after getting some gains.
"Thank you very much young master." I reply with a slight bow.
"If it doesn’t sound too promiscuous, we would also like to propose an alliance, not with the Golden Manor but just between the Young Master and the Dang Clan.
It might not look promising but no matter how low we have fallen, the Poison of the Dang Clan is never to be looked down on and I believe we could serve some importance to you one way or the other." I say trying to convince him.
He says nothing and ponders for a while.
"Hmmm, nicely said Patriarch, I also believe that an alliance with you would be greatly profitting and what merchant wouldn’t hop on to a profit sure opportunity?" He says with a weird smile.
"Why don’t we speak further about this alliance tomorrow, I should be having another guest soon." He says further.
Well at least it seems to be going well.
We quietly excused ourselves, leaving the chests behind.
We got to the inn and sat for a while at the canteen.
"What do you think Second Elder?" I ask Dang Shoo.
"I am not so sure Patriarch but it seems that we are at least safe for now." He replies.
Yes, I also believe so.
I heave a sigh and call for a guard to get Dang So.
The guard goes up but returns without her.
"She is not in her room Patriarch, the other guards said she went alone with Namgoong Yeong to tour the town." The guard reports.
"Did any guard follow her?" I ask.
"No Sir, she ordered that no guards follows her." He replies.
I smack my face with my palm as I heave a long sigh.
"I hope she doesn’t cause trouble for us." I say to myself.
"Hopefully Namgoong Yeong would be able to keep her in check." Dang Shoo says.
"Yes, hopefully." I respond.
After a while we went to our rooms.
T.P.P
At the lodge, time flew by and the canteen started closing up.
They closed up while the people of the Dang Clan remained in their lodges.
Midnight came and the Second Elder and The Patriach were both cultivating in their separate rooms when they suddenly opened their eyes.
They had sensed something.
They both picked up their clothes and stepped out of their rooms.
As they step out unto the passage way they see each other.
"Did you feel that?" The Patriarch asks.
"Yes, killing intent." The Second Elder responds.
The Patriarch quickly rushes to Diana’s room to check on her but the room is empty.
There was a guard standing by her room.
"She has yet to return Sir." The guard tell The Patriach.
"What? up till now?" The Patriarch question.
"Yes Sir." The guard replies.
"Where did this little girl go to now?" The Patriarch says to himself as he covers his face with his palm.
"Get your colleagues, we might be under attack." The Patriarch tells the guards who were around him.
They quickly rush to the rooms where the other guards were while one began going down the stairs to tell the guards who were stationed down there.
The sounds of his footsteps going down the stairs was heard just about five times before a slashing sound was heard and a thud on the ground followed after.
Suddenly across the passage way came flying the head of the guard.
As the head lands on the floor blood from its severed neck slashes on the ground and walls.
The Patriarch, The Second Elder and the guards see this and immediately got on guard.
A few seconds later, a male figure clad in all black came up the stairs swinging a chained Scythe in his left hand and in his right hand were two heads of the guards who were stationed downstairs.
"You are quite sharp Patriarch of the Dang Clan." The figure says with a little giggle.
"You! you are that figure who stood at the edge hiding your presence when we visited the Young Master of The Golden Manor Merchant group." The Patriarch says as he places his hand into his sleeves.
