Chapter 59: New Car
CHAPTER 59 - NEW CAR
[A.N Okay this Chapter the sibling thing looks like its starting to go in the you know what direction, so far I still don't think its that bad, would still like your opinion if I should change this Chapter to try edit it out, or just only edit it if it does go further in that direction]
The villa Tony purchased was located in one of the most prestigious luxury zones in the mountain. Near a shimmering lake, the air here was fresh, the scenery breathtaking, and the environment serene.
Even the moving company staff were stunned when they arrived. Surrounded by rolling mountains, flowing water, and the villas dotting the landscape, they couldn't help but gape.
"Whoever lives here is seriously loaded. A house in this area has to go for at least $60 or $70 million."
"Yeah, and they're so young too! Didn't expect that."
"Must be from some crazy rich family... If I were born like that, I'd live like a prince too. Man, I'm jealous!"
Their truck soon turned onto a private path leading to Tony's villa.
And then they were stunned all over again.
The place wasn't just big, it was massive. Nearly double the size of the other villas nearby, with three modern lofts designed in sleek, cutting edge style. There were front and back gardens, a swimming pool, and a double garage to top it all off.
"Holy crap. The last few villas we saw were nothing compared to this beast."
"Do you think they're celebrities? Both of them are good looking."
"Or maybe... the son and daughter in law of some CEO?"
The movers were practically holding their breath trying to guess the identity of the owners.
And honestly, who could blame them?
Even Natalie was floored the moment she stepped inside. She literally pinched her own cheek to make sure she wasn't dreaming.
Still, with outsiders around, she put on her usual haughty front, calmly sitting on the living room's leather sofa like a queen surveying her domain, acting as if she saw this kind of luxury every day.
But the second the moving crew left, she transformed.
Natalie turned into a human sized husky on a sugar rush, jumping around the house, racing through every room, squealing over the decor, and doing laps like she just won the lottery.
"So? What do you think?" Tony strolled over, a knowing smile on his lips.
"What do I think?!" she shrieked, clutching her cheeks. "This isn't 'okay', this is insane! I feel like I'm living in a dream!"
"Glad to hear that." Tony nodded. "I worked with the bank directly for this one. Now that I've got millions sitting pretty in my account, the bank manager treats me like royalty."
When Tony mentioned he wanted to buy a house, the bank president didn't waste a second. He immediately arranged a private team to present the very best listings in and around the city. This villa was the top pick, and it came with a nearly $90 million price tag.
But when you've got hundreds of millions in the bank and more flowing in every day, a $80 million on a house leaves only a sizable dent.
"I still can't believe I've become a rich housewife!" Natalie sighed, spinning around in the high roof on the hall like she was in a drama.
"Housewife?" Tony shot her a side-eye. "That's an odd choice of words."
Natalie turned red but waved him off.
"Alright then, this house is enormous. Should we hire a housekeeper or something?" she asked.
"Nope." Tony shook his head without hesitation. "I'm not a fan of strangers coming and going from our home all the time."
"But it's too big for the two of us to clean! This is a literal mansion!"
Tony didn't respond right away, he just stared at her quietly.
"W-Wait a second," Natalie backed up a step, suspicious. "You're not planning to make me clean this whole place, are you?! You devil!"
Tony finally burst into laughter.
"Relax, of course not. I know how bad your cleaning skills are. I was just thinking... maybe it's time to develop a smart home system. Let Cortana be our AI housekeeper."
"Wait, what? Smart home? AI? That sounds super high-tech! You can actually do that?!"
Natalie's eyes lit up. She had seen those sci-fi movies, but never thought she'd live in one.
"No idea if it'll work," Tony shrugged, "but we won't know until we try. With my simulator, I can experiment with just about anything."
"Bro, you're awesome!" Natalie gave a huge thumbs up. She didn't understand a word of the tech talk, but cheering for her genius little brother was second nature now.
"Oh right," Tony added, "we also need a car. Living in a villa community like this, it's way more convenient to own one."
He turned to Natalie.
"Want me to buy you one too? All inclusive, just say the word."
"Yes, yes, wait, no!" Natalie caught herself mid-nod. "Forget it! I can buy my own car, thank you very much!"
"I make good money as a top streamer now. I'm not as rich as you, but buying a car is no big deal!"
Deep down, she had wanted to be the one helping her little brother. But seeing him rise to millionaire status practically overnight... yeah, she gave up that dream real fast. She'd settle for not being a burden.
"Fair enough." Tony nodded. "I'll go check out cars now."
"What, you're gonna call a cab?"
"No need."
He casually pulled out his phone and called the bank president. These days, whenever he didn't know what to do, Tony would just call the guy. With deep connections in the city and the efficiency in dealing with things, he was basically a real life Doraemon.
A few minutes later, Tony hung up the phone, satisfied.
"It's settled."
"So? What's the plan?" Natalie asked curiously.
"The manager from a Ferrari's dealership is sending someone to pick us up."
"Wait, you're buying a Ferrari?!"
"Of course," Tony replied like it was the most normal thing in the world. "If I'm getting a sports car, it's gotta be a Ferrari."
About twenty minutes later, a sleek silver Bentley rolled up to their villa.
Out stepped a sharply dressed middle-aged man in a tailored suit.
"Hello, I'm Shifu, manager of the Ferrari dealership," he greeted respectfully. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
He knew this wasn't just any client. The president of the bank himself had made the referral. That meant big money, very big money. One look at the villa confirmed it.
"Shall we go?" Tony said.
"Absolutely!" Shifu smiled, opening the car door for them.
They all hopped into the Bentley and headed to the dealership.
The car shopping adventure lasted until 5 p.m., but by the end of the day, Tony had successfully purchased a brand new Ferrari.
And to everyone's surprise?
There was no face slapping scene, no snobby salespeople looking down on him.
Because when you roll up in a Bentley, with a bank president's personal recommendation?
You don't need to prove anything.
At the Ferrari dealership, Manager Shifu approached with a bright smile, holding a crimson car key with both hands. He respectfully presented it to Tony.
"Mr. Willis, all the paperwork has been finalized. Your new car is ready for the road."
Tony had just purchased a Ferrari 812 Superfast. The base price alone was $380,000 and after taxes, insurance, and various fees, the final total came to $412,000.
This was also the most expensive model in the entire dealership, and Manager Shifu was absolutely beaming. He knew now that picking Tony up personally had been the right move, this client was a big spender.
"Alright," Tony accepted the keys, but frowned as soon as he saw them. "Seriously? This is what Ferrari keys look like?"
He'd heard rumors about Ferrari's famously ugly key design, but now that he saw it in person, he was even more disappointed. The tacky red casing made it look like a cheap USB stick.
Manager Shifu gave an awkward yet professional chuckle. "Yes, sir... Ferrari has always stuck with this design. A lot of clients complain about it, but the manufacturer insists it's part of the brand identity..."
Tony shrugged. He wasn't in the mood to nitpick. Instead, he turned his attention to the beast parked outside.
The 812 Superfast looked aggressive and powerful, exuding raw performance from every curve. The front was especially striking, as if daring anyone to challenge it. The sleek bodylines matched his aesthetic perfectly.
The only downside? The color. He'd wanted something more unique, but the dealership only had black and red in stock. Custom colors required a three month wait, and Tony wasn't that patient.
Besides, buying a top-tier Ferrari wasn't like buying a regular car. Even after placing an order, there were layers of verification, status checks, and formalities. Same day delivery was out of the question for most buyers.
But that didn't apply to Tony. He paid in full, on the spot. No loans. No waitlists. Money talks, and his roared louder than a V12.
Sliding into the driver's seat,Tony took a deep breath. It was his first time driving a supercar, and he felt a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation.
Natalie climbed into the passenger seat, her eyes sparkling as she took in the interior. But to be honest, aside from the exterior and engine, the cabin design was rather average.
With a turn of the key, the engine roared to life. The sound of the exhaust echoed like thunder, wild, primal, and intoxicating. Tony couldn't help but grin.
For men, these machines weren't just vehicles, they were dreams on four wheels.
"Drive safe, Mr. Willis!" Shifu called out from behind, bowing slightly as he and the other sales staff lined up to send them off respectfully.
"Got it." Tony nodded and gently stepped on the accelerator, the Ferrari purring as they glided out of the dealership.
As they weaved through city traffic, Natalie folded her arms and couldn't stop marveling. "More than $400,000... and you bought it in what, ten minutes? Did you see the Manager's face? I used to dream about this kind of life, but now we're actually living it!"
Tony smiled casually. "You'll get used to it, sis."
Honestly, with his net worth now, buying a Ferrari was no different from a kid picking out a toy. See it, like it, buy it, simple as that.
The weather was perfect, clear skies, warm sun, a gentle breeze. Tony switched the car to open top mode, letting the wind whip past as they cruised through downtown.
While waiting at a red light, a BMW Mini pulled up next to them. The window rolled down, revealing a stunning young woman with perfectly styled hair and a dazzling smile.
"Hey, handsome! Mind adding me on Insta?" she called out sweetly, flashing her phone.
Natalie's face instantly darkened. She didn't say a word, but glared at the woman with enough icy fire to freeze boiling water.
The girl, however, paid her no mind, her eyes were glued to Tony, waiting for a response.
Tony smiled politely. "Sorry. Not interested."
The woman was visibly stunned, clearly not used to rejection. Before she could say anything else, the light turned green. Tony stepped on the gas and left her in the dust.
"Tch. She saw me sitting next to you and still had the nerve to shoot her shot!" Natalie muttered angrily, arms crossed.
Tony glanced at her. "And who are you to me again?"
Natalie was momentarily speechless. She puffed her cheeks and changed the subject. "Alright then, serious question, why'd you turn her down? Don't tell me you already have someone you like?"
"Nope," Tony replied coolly. "I just don't like those generic influencer faces."
He meant it. Nowadays, all internet celebrities looked the same, same makeup, same filters, same surgery-enhanced expressions. It was hard to tell one from another.
Natalie blinked, then instinctively touched her own face. "Then... what about me? Do I look like an influencer too?"
Tony didn't seem to catch the nervous tone in her voice. "Nah, you're different. Your face is actually recognizable. You look kind of like that famous actress."
"What?! Which actress?" Natalie straightened up in surprise.
"Uhh... I forgot her name..." Tony hesitated, clearly trying to dodge the question.
"What was she in? What's her most famous role?" she pushed, curious now.
"Ah, well... most of her stuff doesn't really have names. Just long strings of random letters and numbers. Hard to remember, really..."
"...What kind of actress even uses titles like that?" Natalie narrowed her eyes, starting to catch on to his real meaning.
"Ahem! Anyway, I'm driving. Need to stay focused. Let's not chat while I'm on the road!" Tony quickly changed the subject and zipped his lips.
They stopped for dinner before heading back to the villa. On the way home, Natalie begged to drive the Ferrari herself, and Tony, being the generous brother he was, let her take the wheel.
In the end, it was Natalie who proudly drove the luxury supercar into the garage.
As the engine cut off, Tony had a flash of inspiration.
What if... he could upgrade this Ferrari with Cortana's AI? Make it fully self-driving?
Tesla hadn't quite nailed full autonomy, but with his simulator powers, maybe he could pull it off.
Still, that was for later. First, he needed to build Cortana, the AI butler.
Back at the villa, Tony got to work on the project while Natalie started her evening livestream as usual.
"Alright, bros! Back to our deep sea adventure tonight! Let's gooooo!" she shouted excitedly into the camera, kicking off another broadcast.
