Deviant: No Longer Human

CHAPTER 786: NEMESIS: SETTING A TRAP FOR AUNT? (1)
The soul-binding had given Wang Xiao too many ideas.
Yanyan was the second test. He’d tethered her the same way as Yin Yue, familiar soul, easy to connect. Now he could tap into her dark energy, swing his sword with her essence fueling it, without fully devouring her.
A weapon on standby.
But every leash was also a risk. If she grew too wild, if she learned to pull against him... better to bind her now, when she was pliant, than wait until she was a disaster with teeth.
That was his role. The anchor. The center that kept these women from wrecking the world in their moods and rivalries. And if he had to cheat, manipulate, or tie their souls down in the dark, so be it.
A moment of negligence, and one day they’d turn on him.
"Y-Your brain’s the size of a walnut! Stop annoying me!"
"Hm... Walnut?" Wang Xiao turned at the sound.
Inside the room, a young snow haired girl was curled in her blanket, cheeks red, voice sharp with irritation. Across from her, Yanyan, half-dressed, her breasts barely contained, skin still flushed, tugged at the blanket with a wicked grin.
"Sleep time’s over, ice princess. Strip. I’ll wrap you up pretty and present you to Daddy."
"..." Wenxi’s whole face went crimson. She buried deeper into the blanket before snapping back, "You perverted cow!"
Yanyan laughed, leaning closer, her cleavage pressing down against the blanket as she purred. "Cow? Look who’s trembling under the sheets. Scared I’ll peel you and let him see that tight little body?"
"You!" Wenxi’s voice quivered, her chest heaving under the blanket, hands shaking. "Fatty, I-I’ll kill you today!"
BANG!
Her leg shot out like lightning, ankle cracking into Yanyan’s side through the covers.
"Ah!" Yanyan stumbled back, clutching her ribs, but grinning like a maniac through the pain. "Still got fire, huh? Good. Daddy likes fighters."
"Shut up, you shameless woman!" Wenxi shouted, face burning, eyes glossy with fury.
Wang Xiao’s eye twitched. He stood in the doorway, watching his daughters descend into fight.
"...Why are they fighting again?" he muttered, dragging a hand down his face.
Yanyan glanced at him, half-smiling despite the bruise blooming across her cheek. "She started it. I was just... unwrapping her for you."
"Wha?!" Wenxi shrieked, clutching the blanket like it was armor. Her whole face burned. "N-No need! I can... I can dress pretty for him myself! I don’t need your filthy hands helping!"
Her eyes narrowed, glaring at Yanyan. "And you, your clothes are questionable. Why are you always almost naked? You dress like... like Aunt Victoria."
Yanyan only shrugged, smirk lazy. "I don’t go outside my basement anyway. Doesn’t matter what I wear... or don’t wear." Then her eyes sharpened, glaring back to Wenxi. "Stop trying to mislead me. We’re not done."
"..." Wenxi’s lips pressed tight. She’d tried to change the subject and got caught.
Yanyan grinned, teeth flashing. "Undress already. We’re having a threesome with daddy today." She lunged forward, grabbing at the blanket.
"Stay away!" Wenxi yelped, scrambling backward. "I don’t want you in it! Don’t touch me or I’ll freeze your hand off! Go find Lanlan for your stupid threesome, I have Yue with me already!"
"Oh?" Yanyan laughed, completely unfazed. "Even better. We’ll call Yue and Lanlan. Four sisters on one bed~ best gift I could give Daddy!~"
Wang Xiao sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose... though, inwardly, he admitted the idea had merit. With a flick of his will, he reinforced the walls and turned to leave.
If he stayed, the fight would only escalate. Better to let them claw it out. As long as they didn’t kill each other, he could live with the noise.
But just as he stepped out, Yanyan’s voice rang after him.
"Daddy~! You want our mothers included too?"
"...!"
Wang Xiao nearly tripped. He exhaled a long, suffering sigh.
Meanwhile, Wenxi’s stomach dropped. Her worst fear, dragged into the open by Yanyan’s shameless mouth. Now that she and Yue had both slept with him, nothing technically stopped him from throwing all of them together... including Anran, their mother.
Her face went crimson, the thought alone unbearable. She buried herself under the blanket, biting into the fabric.
"It’s too embarrassing!"
It was too much.
Too humiliating!
Too bad, the seed was already planted. Wang Xiao’s mind drifted off again, straight to filthier places, Eleanor and her daughter, up with him in the same bed, those two bodies pressed soft against his skin.
The earlier mess? Didn’t even register anymore.
He wandered down the hallway, half lost in that daydream, and turned a corner, smacked right into someone.
"Hey, watch it!"
A soft wave of floral scent hit him, peonies and something sweeter, maybe her hairs. He glanced down, Wang Xueying, holding a cup of milk tea, a couple drops already splashed on her black crop top.
"Seriously..." she muttered, dabbing at her chest with slender fingers, smearing the milk tea into the fabric. Her long legs stuck out from baggy grey shorts, a black ribbon tying her hair up all messy. She gave him a look, half-annoyed, half-amused. "Brother, with those so-called supernatural senses, you can’t dodge a human roadblock?"
Wang Xiao sighed, letting his eyes flick down, "Can’t be on guard all the time."
She rolled her eyes, but her mouth twitched at the edge, betraying the smile she was trying to hide. "Save it. Mom told me to call you downstairs." She leaned in, voice dropping like she was about to spill state secrets. "Who’s the new woman? That one’s got weird vibes. Where’d you dig her up?"
He tilted his head, all mock-serious. "Jealous? Or just bored out of your mind?"
"Jealous, obviously." She shot it back quick, but she couldn’t quite keep the smile off her face. "You drag home girls like stray cats, and act like it’s nothing. One of these days, Mom’s gonna put you on trial, you know that?"
Wang Xiao shrugged, deadpan. "She’s welcome to try."
"Mhm." She sipped her drink, lips leaving a little sheen behind, tongue darting out to catch a drop. "Hurry up, before she comes up here herself and yells at both of us."
Wang Xiao raised an eyebrow, leaning a bit closer. "And if she does? What’s the worst that happens, she lectures me for being promiscuous?"
Xueying paused, milk tea halfway to her lips, eyes going a little wide. She laughed, but there was an shiver, like she wasn’t sure if he was joking. He’d stopped taking their mother’s threats seriously a long time ago; dude just didn’t care about consequences.
Honestly, did she need this in her life? She was already getting branded as the disobedient daughter by her mother, she didn’t need their mom thinking she was preying on her own brother.
Even if Wang Xiao escaped, she’d be the one catching all the heat, just because of their age gap.
But too bad for her, today, someone was about to lock in their opinion for good.
___
Downstairs, everyone was getting restless. Patience was wearing thin.
"Mei, go check what’s taking so long upstairs?" Xinyue Zhilan called out, slumped on the couch, bored and annoyed. It’d been ages since Wang Xueying went up.
Wang Mei didn’t even look up from her phone. "No." Her answer was sharp, immediaty, like she could already sense disaster up there and wanted no part of it.
"Huh?" Zhilan frowned, already winding up to scold someone for ignoring her. Before she could launch, her sister, Xin Meifang, let out a sigh. "He’s just a kid, why are you getting worked up? Yaoyao, can you go?"
"Huh? Me? Why do I have to-?" Qian Yaoyao blinked, caught off guard, obviously not thrilled, but Meifang gave her the ’just do it’ look, Qian Yaoyao muttered, dejected, "Fine, fine, I’ll go..."
As she trudged up the stairs, Yaoyao grumbled under her breath, "Every time, always me... Why do I have to be the free labour... ?"
Halfway up, she glanced down the railing and caught her sister Qian Ruixin’s eyes, wide, worried, practically screaming Don’t go.
Yaoyao mouthed silently, Is something wrong?
She just shrugged, playing it off, then kept climbing, trying not to overthink it.
But Qian Ruixin’s face went pale, lips pressed tight. It’s a trap, she thought, heart sinking.
