CHAPTER 39: TAMING THE BLOODLINE

"I don’t know. Who are you? And what’s this place?" Matt said coldly, ready to battle.

The Supreme Devil was shocked by Matt’s words; he could see from his actions and behavior that he doesn’t truly remember him.

"You don’t really remember me," the Devil Man tried to confirm.

At this moment, Matt was already losing his patience, getting irritated. "Who the f*cking hell are you? I know you are a devil, and also, where is this?"

The Supreme Devil was now certain that Matt doesn’t remember anything; it seems this was what was sacrificed for his life, or what?

"We are inside you, inside your mind," the Supreme Devil said.

"As for who I am, I am the Supreme Devil, the Dragon Devil, and I have been with you since your childhood." He smiled.

"You are a human, and where you are currently is Hell, a dungeon where ancient devils are. As for the ranks of devils, you should understand them," the supreme devil smiled.

He could see that Matt had become half human and half devil. He tried to keep his calm because this was the first time he was seeing such a scene.

Scrutinizing Matt, it realized that Matt’s fate couldn’t be traced; he was like a dead person. The Supreme Dragon Devil shivered but quickly hid himself.

It turns out that Matt was an anomaly that didn’t exist in heaven and earth,

A strange light surfaced in his eyes before it disappeared.

"I am sure you know that you are both human and devil, a creature that shouldn’t exist. I didn’t know how you became one after your death and even came back alive." The Supreme Dragon Devil eyes squinted.

Matt shrugged his shoulders. "How do you expect me to know? I have forgotten my memory, and now back at you, why should I trust your words? You can just fabricate a lie with what you have said."

The Supreme Devil smiled, "You should know that I am not lying, mm k

Matt frowned. He felt more than ninety percent of the words said by the devil in front of him. He looked at him, planning to ask him a question.

But the Supreme Devil seems to know what he wanted to ask, "I have no power to help you to recover your memory. That task is up to you."

Matt was helpless for a second. Now he doesn’t know who he was.

"But you have to get out of this hell if you ever want to remember your memory, which means you have to clear the dungeon by killing all the devils and clearing it, and also you haven’t tapped into your devil bloodline yet, and to kill them you need your strength."

"So I will be training you. You also absorbed my soul, which means you are like my descendant, having my bloodline," the Supreme Devil said.

Matt’s expression didn’t change; it seems he had already known.

He turned to the Supreme Devil. "Then I will accept your training," he said.

The Supreme Devil nodded, then Matt found out that his consciousness had returned to his body.

"Matt, the first thing you have to do is to control your devil bloodline; if not, you will be under its control, only a killing machine," the Supreme Devil words rang out in Matt’s ear.

"Just calm down and use your consciousness to try to probe into them. You must subdue them, but note that you have two devil powers in you," the Supreme Devil warned Matt.

Matt nodded; he calmed down, sitting cross-legged as he entered a black-and-white space. He didn’t know why this place felt familiar to him.

He walked down and saw a gigantic tree, half white and half black . An idea dropped in his mind that he should sit cross-legged under the tree and proceed.

He did so, making his consciousness sit under the tree; his view disappeared from where he was.

The next moment, what he saw was darkness, but even though it was darker than black, he could still see as if the light was shining.

He heard a breath and looked behind him to see a familiar figure, which made him frown,

The familiar gray and pale skin with black markings, the small metallic thorns that jutted out along the shoulder and spine.

The two curved horns that rose backwards from its temples, its twelve crimson slits, the sword-like nails, and the shadow that writhed the mass of swords.

But even the aura of the Blade Ancient Devil didn’t reach what was above it.

The Supreme Dragon Devil.

Matt felt it was a terrifying sight to behold. Its body was massive, covered in dark, rough scales that glowed faintly red, like burning coal beneath stone.

Smoke and heat rose from its skin, and its claws were long and sharp enough to tear through steel.

Two giant horns curved from its head, glowing faintly with devilish light, while its wings spread wide, dark as night and torn at the edges. Every flap sent out waves of heat and ash.

Its eyes burned like pools of blood, cold and merciless, and when it opened its jaws, fire and black mist poured out together.

It let out a deafening Draconic Roar, and the sound of its roar was deafening—like thunder mixed with screams—shaking the darkness and freezing every soul and thing in fear.

Matt watched all of this. There are different types of devils: weapon devils like the Blade Devil, beast devils like the Lion Devil, and insect devils This was what made Devil fear because anything it encroaches on gains life and becomes a devil; only humans are known to be able not to have devil powers.

Matt looked at the two Bloodline forms in front of him, wondering how to defeat them.

But what happened next surprised him: the tree vein appeared behind Matt, stretched its root, and both the Blade Devil and the Dragon Devil bowed down.Matt had conquered both bloodlines.
