Devil Man
Chapter 54: Shadow Devil (2)
CHAPTER 54: SHADOW DEVIL (2)
"How did you find me?" It froze, its eyes full of shock. It thought it had hidden itself well.
"It’s not that hard; just locate the source the devilish energy was coming from," Eira said emotionlessly.
The Shadow Devil heard this and was shocked. How Eira said it was as if it were easy.
Shadow Devils were known to have the least Devilish energy; it’s not that they don’t have immense devilish energy.
The way the structure of their body was built was to conceal their aura and devilish energy.
It made them a force to be reckoned with.
It felt surprised by how Eira was able to get the source of the devilish energy accurately; even a devil lord can’t get it.
How shocking is Eira’s talent?
Its eyes were full of regret, looking at Eira. Its eyes became dim; it never thought it would be killed by a small child.
Even with its calculations, it still died. Eira’s expression still didn’t change; this was shocking about her. It felt as if she had killed an ant.
As this happened, Eira’s shadow wriggled, and another shadow devil burst out.
This didn’t escape Eira’s notice; her lips curled up into a grin.
"Been waiting for you," she muttered.
A claw was attacking Eira’s neck, close to cleaving it.
SWOOSH!
Just a hairline away from cleaving Eira’s life, the shadow devil was shocked that it couldn’t move; its body had lost all strength.
It looked to its front, wondering if there was something protecting Eira.
There was nothing; only when it looked at itself did it realize that its stomach had been pierced through.
It looked at Eira, who was nonchalant. Fear gripped its heart.
"How did you know?" It asked, troubled by how.
First, it used the Shadow Tendrils trying to find a weakness in Eira for it to deliver a killing strike.
It couldn’t be found because Eira didn’t move from where she was; she was dealing with the shadow tendrils easily.
It then thought of a bait, creating a Shadow Clone of itself, using it to deceive her, to make her think it was dead.
When she’s relaxed, it would then finish her off.
Now looking at the sword that had impaled it, confusion befell it.
Where did it make a mistake and give itself away?Eira looked at the Shadow Devil; seeing its confusion, she grinned. "Like I said, I could sense the devilish source of yours."
When the Shadow Devil heard her words, it shook because when Eira said those words, it didn’t take them seriously, thinking that it was the clone Devilish source.
It turned out from the very beginning, Eira had found out its position.
"Then why didn’t you attack early?" it asked.
"You, Shadow Devils, are known to be tricky opponents, as you can move your devil core to any part of your body. I needed you to let your guard down completely."
Eira smiled, but her smile was devilish to the devil. Such meticulous thought, it thought it was the predator and she was the prey.
It turned out their roles had been reversed from the very beginning. It was true that its core had been pierced through; if Eira removed her sword, it would shatter into pieces, and it would die.
Looking at Eira’s age, its body shook. Such a young girl to be so meticulous, and also her talent too was strong.
She had to be eliminated, or she would be a big threat to the devils.
"Young girl, even I am shocked by how high your planning and thinking capability is. This should be a lesson for you: never keep a devil alive for too long." It snickered, its shock and other expressions disappeared, leaving only killing intent.
Eira was still indifferent; she chuckled, "You have called for the others, right?"When the Shadow Devil heard this, its body shook, looking at Eira, who was looking at it like a fool.
It realized something, looking at Eira in fear, horror, and terror.
It smiled bitterly, "It turned out that your goal wasn’t me from the very beginning."
Eira smiled, "It seems you aren’t that foolish."
Eira’s target wasn’t only the Shadow Devil but all devils; she was attracting the devils to herself.
As Eira has finished battling the worm devils, she has sensed the shadow devil when it reached 100 meters around her.
This was one of the abilities she gained; it came from the fact that she opened thirteen veins.
When she saw the strength of the Shadow Devil, she was surprised by why a strong devil appeared in the periphery of the devil forest.
And from its behavior, it was specially hunting them.
She began to think if it was so, then it seems their location had been found out, and also maybe the important item had been found out.
Then it means that there can’t be only one powerful shadow that is hunting them.
That’s when she thought about this plan.
Behaving like she didn’t notice the Shadow Devil until it attacked her.
From the very beginning, its location was exposed to her like a naked person.
She followed the devil’s plan until she struck the devil’s core.
Now all the words she said were true, but they were to give the Shadow Devil the impression of how much of a genius so it could call for backup.
She knew that the devil wouldn’t suspect that she was strong and that she could pose a threat to it.
What it would think was that it was because of the trap she set for it that she was able to catch it and kill it.
So it would call only its fellow devils that were sent out together, not from the devil city.
The Shadow Devil looked at the human before it in terror but thought of something: "There’s no way that you would kill them."
It grinned, only to meet Eira looking at it with pity.
"If so, then watch it." Before it could talk, Eira froze it.

Meanwhile, in another place, a group of shadow devils were together in a concealed cave. They were ten.
Suddenly their leader moved. "Teges is in danger."
When they heard this, they were surprised, looking at one another.
"Among the students, there shouldn’t be any threat to him with his assassination skills," one of them complained. Everyone in thought.
"It seems that we underestimated the human’s geniuses. We had forgotten there’s no way the humans would send their genius into the pit of hell. And from the looks of things, it appears that the strength of Teges’s opponent isn’t that much stronger than him for him to ask for reinforcement."
The leader said deeply, and all of them found his words to be true.
"Then I will go with Dtis and Rwas to check things out," one of the Shadow Devils proposed.
The leader fell into thought. It brought out something; it looked like a mini shadow devil.
The mini shadow was dim. The leader could see that Teges was still alive.
The mini shadow was part of the soul of Teges; if he died, the mini shadow would disperse.
"Ok, you guys can go." The leader gave them the order, and the three shadows disappeared into the shadows, leaving the leader and the six shadows.
The three-shadows devil moved with quick speed, trying to help Teges before it’s too late.
As they got closer to the location, Eira, at the location of the battle scene , smiled; she had sensed the three shadow devils.
Her eyes burned with hatred.
"Don’t worry, Matt. All the devils that exist in this universe would follow you to death, " Her teeth gnashed, her eyes burning in hatred.
She calmed herself down, seeing that the shadow devils were getting close.
She thought of something, her lips curled up into a smirk, and beside her the Shadow Devil that was frozen into a block of ice felt fear.
It didn’t know how Eira was able to freeze it, yet it showed no signs of dying.
This made it shake. Did she know about the fact that if it died, it would be sensed? It felt fear towards Eira, thinking that this wasn’t a thirteen-year-old girl but an ancient figure.
It watched it creating a small sword; it thought she wanted to use it to battle. Confusion befell it because Eira used it to cut herself.
Her entire body was covered with wounds; blood wasn’t dripping out. It marveled at the fact that Eira was able to control her blood flow rate.
She didn’t stop there; the trees that surrounded them, she broke some of them, making the battle scene messier, making it look as if an intense battle had taken place.
The broken ice cube of the worm devils was turned into dust.
Then the Shadow Devil didn’t know how she did it; her aura dwindled, like someone with a serious injury.
She sat cross-legged, closing her eyes, like she was meditating, treating her injuries.
Everything then clicked for the Shadow Devil; its body shuddered, and fear and regret surged in its mind.
When had devils become easy prey to deceive?
