CHAPTER 850: CHAPTER 849

Rosemary stepped out of the hospital elevator with Horace, when suddenly, an excited voice rang out.

"Is that you?" Timothy’s joy was unmistakable as he spotted her, "I’ve been looking for you for ages. I heard Sean’s also in this hospital. You haven’t run into him, have you? He didn’t give you a hard time?"

Although Rosemary was puzzled why he was so invested in her affairs, she remembered Sean mentioning that, if it weren’t for Timothy interceding on her behalf, she would have been in deep

trouble.

"Are you Timothy? The one who spoke up for me at the auction the other day?"

"You figured it out?" Timothy beamed, "Yeah, I’m Timothy. I’m the kind of guy who can’t stand to see injustice and not do something about it. No need to thank me, but hey, if you insist, a cup of coffee would be nice?"

Before Rosemary could respond, Timothy flashed a bright smile and said, "I know a couple of spots with great value for money. How about we swap contact details? What’s your name?"

Seeing his genuine nature, Rosemary found herself saying, "Rosemary."

"What a beautiful name." Timothy handed her his phone to scan his WhatsApp QR code, and once they successfully added each other, his burst of excitement was plain to see.

"You’ve helped me twice, at the car race, and again at the auction."

"You remember all that? " Timothy was touched, "It was no big deal, really."

In his joy, he asked with a hint of nervousness, "Are you free tomorrow?"

Tomorrow?

Rosemary thought for a moment. She had no plans, "I’m free tomorrow."

"Great! I’ll send you the address of the coffee shop later. How about we meet up for coffee tomorrow?"

"Sure."

Timothy hadn’t expected Rosemary to agree so readily and, perhaps out of concern she might reconsider, he hastily added, "Go ahead with what you were doing. I’ll get going."

Having scored a date with his crush, Timothy was over the moon, bumping into passersby twice in his excitement.

"Rosemary, you’re going to treat him to coffee tomorrow?" Horace remarked, finding the lovestruck guy a bit goofy, amused by his clumsy departure.

"Just a quick thank-you and a token of appreciation, then I’m outta there."

"So you mean, leave him alone to enjoy the coffee while you just make a brief appearance?"

"Is that a problem?"

"Not at all. Your time is precious. Stopping by to say thanks is generous."

Timothy, ecstatic about his date with Rosemary, was practically bouncing off the walls, almost wishing he could sprout wings and soar.

The sun seemed brighter than ever, the breeze on his face was pure bliss, and every sight along the way appeared beautiful. Every stranger he passed seemed incredibly friendly and charming.

He couldn’t resist pulling out his phone to call his buddy Romeo and share his joy.

"Romeo! I’ve got a date! I got that girl to agree to have coffee with me! You believe that? She’s not just a looker, her name’s a melody to the ears. I bet you’ve never heard a name this sweet."

"Here we go again," Romeo sighed as he climbed the stairs to his office, "I’ll be at Belloria tonight."

"Really? Then you have to see her! She’s drop-dead gorgeous, with a voice like an angel, and a face to match!" Timothy’s excitement was palpable, then he asked, "Weren’t you going to introduce me to your

fiancée? No time like the present! How about tomorrow?"

"I’ll check if my fiancée is free."

After all, his Rose was a busy woman, not someone he could meet at the drop of a hat.

"Anyway, if you meet her, you’ll understand why I can’t let her go! She’s really something special, unique, and incredibly charming."

"I’ve got another call," Romeo cut in, "You carry on with your madness."

"Isn’t it called being madly in love, or don’t you get it?" Timothy was lost in his whirlwind of happiness, the world around him seemingly bursting with pink, heart-shaped bubbles.

After hanging up, Romeo took a call from another friend, Derrick, "What’s up?"

"Romeo, I’ve got to ask you, when you see your fiancée, do you get that butterflies-in-the-stomach,heart-racing kind of feeling?"

Romeo furrowed his brow, a question formed in his mind. "You got spring fever or something?"

"Spring fever? No way, man! I think I’ve met the girl of my dreams! You wouldn’t believe it. I saw this girl today, and she’s something else. The moment I laid eyes on her, I just knew. I knew we were meant to spend our lives together."

Shaking his head, Romeo climbed the airplane’s staircase and stepped into the cabin’s lounge area. "I think both of you and Timothy need to get your heads examined."

Derrick looked puzzled. "What’s Timothy got to do with this?"

"He’s caught the spring fever too, just like you."

"He’s got a crush on someone? Hey, do you think that maybe the man upstairs saw you with a fiancée,and didn’t want your best buds being all alone, so he sent down angels to save us both from loneliness?"

"You’re seriously off your rocker."

Isn’t it said that love turns people into kids? Why are they all acting so loopy?

"You two now have something in common. Good for you. You can keep each other company."

At least that would spare Romeo the headache.

"Hey, Romeo, where are you at? If you’ve got time, I really need to talk to you about this girl."

"I’m on a plane."

"A plane? Where to?"

"Belloria."

"You’re coming here? Awesome! Let’s meet up when you arrive, okay?" Derrick realized Romeo was visiting his fiancée. "Perfect, bring your fiancée along tomorrow. I also want to see who this girl is that’s got Timothy head over heels."

But no one could be as special as his girl!

"Seriously, you guys should meet her."

His girl was truly one of a kind!

Unfortunately, he still didn’t know her name, only that she was the renowned Dr. Bell.

"We’ll see if my fiancée’s available," Romeo said, not committing right away. He planned to surprise Rosemary with his visit to Belloria.

He had sped up his work to see her sooner.

With days passed since he last saw her, his mind was filled with the image of her delicate, beautiful smile.

That evening.

Rosemary had just finished her shower and was about to book a flight home for the following evening when her phone rang. It was Romeo.

"Rose, come over to the window."

Towel-drying her hair, Rosemary walked to the window, only to see Romeo standing in the snow below.

He was dressed in a camel-colored coat, standing tall, and seemingly smiling up at her.

"How long have you been here?" She noticed the scarf she had given him wrapped around his neck.

"Just a minute ago."

In truth, Romeo had been standing in the cold for quite some time. When he had messaged her earlier and she hadn’t replied, he guessed she was showering and had waited patiently below.

"Come up. It’s freezing out there. Room 8801."

"Okay."

It wasn’t long before Romeo arrived outside the presidential suite.

Rosemary opened the door to find him with a tender, indulgent smile. After days apart, his handsome features and soft, glowing eyes were as striking as ever.

"I’ve missed you."
