Shadow Twins—the Shadow Realm’s real deal who’d crushed Shadow Hall and grabbed the Shadow Realm’s legacy in no time flat.

They’d announced their arrival to the world by whacking the Dotruu King.

Though their power was scary as hell, way beyond what her current baby group could handle, Kiri wasn’t sweating them.

Because the Shadow Twins weren’t dark mist monsters or fallen ones. As long as you didn’t poke the bear, they rarely showed up, preferring to chill in the Shadow Realm soaking up endless shadows.

The Ember City envoy, based on what people were saying, was definitely the Eternal Annihilation Demon King—one of the King’s retainers, the third-ranked Withering Knight.

Kiri’s mood was all over the place.

Even though Rock Sand City’s outcome went sideways from memory with the Black Sinners’ plot going belly-up, everything happening in the Dotruu Kingdom stayed right on track. The re-transformed Withering Knight kicked the Shadow Twins’ asses, and the crown princes’ pissing match was common knowledge.

She secretly clenched her fists. Was fate really set in stone?

Kiri didn’t buy it—it had to be because her power wasn’t strong enough.

This time she’d jump the gun, snatching the Valkyrie Sacred Relic from Blood Snake Princess to screw with Princess Taff’s schemes!

"What about Princess Taff’s news?"

Diliya said:

"Since the king got whacked, Princess Taff’s been a wreck, holed up in the palace and not seeing anybody."

Kiri’s expression went grim. Besides her, nobody knew what nightmare was about to hit the Dotruu Kingdom.

First crown prince drama, then Mercury Cult and Shadow Realm would go at each other’s throats with heavy hitters from both sides, ending in everyone getting wasted.

During their slugfest, the overlooked Princess Taff would quietly use Valkyrie Sacred Relics as vessels and tons of blood bat lackeys as backup to successfully summon the Blood Mother. The whole capital would turn into a blood realm, common folk would drop dead, the Dotruu Kingdom’s royalty and nobles would get wiped out, leaving just an empty shell.

This was the infamous Dotruu Kingdom Blood Disaster from her memories.

Kiri dug through her memories. The crown prince war was days away, and Blood Snake Princess must have already rolled into the capital with her Valkyrie Sacred Relic.

"Get ready—we move tonight."

The three women beside her looked confused:

"Huh? What action?"

"Did you track down Blood Snake Princess?"

Kiri nodded:

"Before coming, I specifically had Becky help with fortune telling. Now’s the time to see if she was right."

By taking out Blood Snake Princess early and grabbing the Valkyrie Sacred Relic, Princess Taff’s ritual would naturally go to shit.

As for the two factions duking it out over the throne, Kiri had already tipped off the Human Supreme Council.

With the Mercury Cult Archbishop showing up, the Human Supreme Council would definitely send judgment squads to check things out.

Kiri had set up countermeasures as best she could. She’d originally wanted to drag Carlos into this, but thinking of his current work on the crucial ’Northern Wall,’ she’d ditched the idea.

Compared to the future Northern Wall holding back terrifying monster waves, the Dotruu Kingdom’s crap was small potatoes.

Blood Silver, pinned down by Ginya’s domain, couldn’t budge and could only watch helplessly as Ginya made fun of it.

In its hurt feelings, Blood Silver felt strong, endless rage, its eyes getting redder and redder.

"Getting pissed?"

Ginya crossed its arms, cranking up the pressure with interest. It sensed this blood moon spawn’s real power was about to show itself.

"Moo!"

Suddenly, Blood Silver let out a low, cold growl. The blood-patterned horn on its forehead started flickering like crazy, bright and dim.

The next second, weird blood-colored patterns spread fast, covering Blood Silver’s tender white skin in moments like blooming demon blood orchids on its sacred shell.

As blood orchids bloomed, Blood Silver felt strange, powerful juice filling its body. Even the crushing pressure around it backed off considerably.

It cried out excitedly as blood gathered and horrific blood wings like giant hands burst from its back, actually breaking through Ginya’s hold!

Ginya showed no surprise, only puzzled eyes.

"What the hell’s this?"

Though this blood moon spawn’s aura had spiked, to Ginya it had just changed from a tiny ant to a big ant—no real threat.

But what had Ginya scratching its head was that Blood Silver’s transformation didn’t match the power shows of blood moon spawn in its memory.

Outside the hall, clearly seeing Blood Silver’s changes, Carlos’s eyes suddenly went ice-cold:

"Blood Mother’s mark?"

Legend said that when creatures croaked, their blood got sucked up by the earth and eventually pooled in an endless blood lake filled with death’s sin and punishment.

The Blood Mother was some twisted creature born from that endless blood lake, naturally wielding terrifying authority over sin and punishment.

In the future, an extremely scary Blood Mother would cross realms, turning all life in a human nation into blood servants, trying to connect the endless blood lake with the Material Realm.

Luckily, the Northern Hero team happened to pass by. Through some tricks, they unleashed the Valkyrie’s true power, cutting the Blood Mother’s descent medium and kicking her ass, stopping the blood disaster from spreading.

Unfortunately, they only cut the medium. The mastermind behind the Blood Mother’s summoning never got caught.

Later, taking advantage of multiple shitstorms—Northern Territory’s collapse, Blood Moon’s Cry, Shadow Echoes—when humanity’s top fighters were busy dealing with crap and couldn’t spare attention.

That Blood Mother spawn struck again, sacrificing a western human kingdom to remake the blood disaster, successfully connecting the endless blood lake with the Material Realm. That terrifying Blood Mother fully showed up!

Human leadership sent powerful fighters in an extremely brutal throwdown. The endless blood lake’s corruption and terrible sin-punishment authority spanned heaven and earth, with participating human powerhouses getting nearly wiped out!

At the critical moment, some unknown female badass deeply versed in blood path research showed up. Using herself as a container and forbidden techniques, she sealed it inside her body and permanently exiled herself to endless void, finally ending the crisis!
